Loved the location and the layout of the house was great ideal for the five of us.
Was a bit cold.
4.3
Lovely house near the town.
Some steep stairs that may be difficult for older guests.

The location was amazing, right by the sea front.
Plenty of shops and a really really lovely fish and chip shop a walk away that is very reasonably priced,
A new leisure centre is also a five minute walk away from the property where the kids went swimming as unfortunately the weather was not the best.
The cleanliness of the property could have been a lot better, such things as my bedding had a hole in it.
when I spoke with the host I was told that the property was ready, however I found a can of deodorant under my bed which could only indicate that a thorough clean had not taken place. There was a polite notice indicating that any kind of hygiene products etc should be put in bags provided and then put in the bin and not to be flushed down the toilet, however no bags were provided. The shower also had a slow water release meaning that the four of us could not get in the shower one after the other, making our mornings more delayed. Random things were just placed in the wardrobes and cupboards and things just felt a little rushed.
I have left the most important for last, the heating, it specifies on the fireplace that all we would have to do is turn the dials on the radiators however this was not the case. The heating is controlled by the host , which I found out by reading previous reviews. I text the host to ask for the heating to be put on as it was beginning to get really cold, the heating was put on but only for a period of time. The following day the kids went to the swimming baths and had things that needed drying as well as it beginning to turn cold, I tried to contact the host again, when I received a call back I was told that the heating comes on automatically when below 20 (however in my opinion I felt on both evenings this was the case) the host then had to contact someone as she was not home to the put it on for us, again this is only for a certain amount of time.

Every thing the location was great it was more relaxing than an hotel

Jayne, the host was very pleasant and helpful although we didn’t actually meet.
We had some issues with lack of hot water for showers on our first morning but this was sorted out. The local information left in the property was dated 2018, so not much use really.

Great location, well equipped, lovely comfy beds!

Location excellent. Host very nice. Parking made available for 2 cars. It's really good value for money.

The Beach Hut is really close to the beach. The property is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Jayne is a very thoughtful host.

the property was a great location
the house was very cold. the heating was controlled by the host. very cold, my children had to sleep in socks and an extra hoody.
4.3
Perfect location. Beach 1 minute walk away. Local supermarket, town centre, and lots of places to eat and drink only a short walk away. A dedicated free parking space at the front door of the house.
The winding staircase was quite steep and narrow. This was not an issue for our group (mostly over 65yrs old) but might not suit everyone.
4.3
Very good location. Travelled with very elderly relative so stairs were slightly challenging. Accommodation is well equipped (only thing I would have liked was a roll of kitchen towel, but I am being very picky!)
See above!

Location was excellent 2 mins from seafront and centre of promenade, Tesco express close by, plus plenty of restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
4.3
location was just superb, close to north beach and town centre for shops, lovely quiet area. property was clean, all house essentials present, Jayne host was lovely and so helpful we had an amazing weekend
There was not 1 thing to Dislike.
4.3
The stairs were steep and the 3 of us have health issues so found the stairs difficult, however everything else was spot on
4.3
spacious, clean, comfortable, good location
the reason I gave 9 instead of 10 is that I would have like the blind in the bathroom to have gone all the way down. I felt a bit exposed to when showering. I had to put my towel over the glass.
4.3
the size and comfort of the house, the well equipped kitchen, great shower and bathroom, personal car parking and the quiet location
The decor in some public areas could do with refreshing
4.3
it was close to the beach and town. it had parking. it was spacious.
The stairs were narrow and steep, but obviously an original feature of the house so not really a problem. the kitchen window was locked so we couldn’t open it. the bathroom blind didn’t close all the way down. there was wear in the master bedroom curtain. but these are just nit picking things. it is a good place to stay.

Jayne was a fantastic host, I was able to contact her before I travelled . She was very accomadating.
The beach hut has everything you need.

Great location & view to the sea
Great communication with owner, even added a card for my husbands birthday
Kitchen was well stocked (cutlery, crockery etc)and clean
The stairs were quite steep and narrow, my youngest did have a slip down them. My in laws were unable to join us in the end but I'm unsure if my MIL would have managed.
We weren't aware until we had arrived that there would be roofers there, had we known this we wouldn't have booked as the time spent at the hut was a little noisy and we had to close the curtains as we could see the workmen.
We also found the property to be really cold. The fire in the lounge helped in that room only. Unfortunately our children do not sleep through the night, so the heating going off at 10pm was less than ideal. I asked the owner if we could have the heating turned up on our second day, which she was more than happy to do so, and apologetic, however our 2nd night was still cold and the kids spent the following morning wrapped in blankets again.

All ready for our arrival
Nothing everything spot on

Location was brilliant
host was lovely and friendly
House was lovely decorated and clean and tidy with everything you need
Beds were fabulous and comfortable
Stairs a bit steep and curved maybe extra banister would help
Heating not the best on lower level bit cold on night and morning

The interior decoration and home furnishings were nice, the property was always warm and it was in a great location.
There were some outstanding repairs inside the property, which were pointed out by the host. The dining room had an unpleasant smell to it and we found the Roman blind could not be pulled up to let in the day-light. The microwave had rust inside and some of the cookware needed cleaning before use. We also found the bedding had a damp smell to it.
4.3
The location was perfect and the host was very welcoming and helpful.
The stairs were steep and winding not really suitable for elderly or young children. The bathroom was off the lounge which seemed very strange. Only 1 bathroom with a cloak room downstairs not 2 bathrooms as advertised. No accessible power sockets in two of the bedrooms. No wardrobes in 2 of the bedrooms however there was a cupboard on the landing which we used.
4.3
Good location just far enough away from town centre to be quiet but easy walking distance

We spent 3 nights. The apartment is spacious clean and really comfortable. The apartment has steep stairs to the first floor, this is in the description of the Beach Hut so we were ready for it. This did not pose any problem as the downstairs kitchen and seating area is lovely, there is also a downstairs toilet.
We travelled to spend time as sisters we were able to host breakfast and dinner for other family members, everything we needed was provided in a well organised kitchen. The location is excellent we could walk to Town and the Promenade is 3mins away. We were provided free parking outside the property. The host is welcoming and considerate. All in All one of the most enjoyable stays in a self catering apartment. Wonderful
These are my preferences not dislikes as there really is nothing to dislike about this apartment.
Having no outside seating area.
The bathroom being accessed through the lounge.
