Great location for exploring Porto

Great position, gorgeous apartment, friendly staff

Street outside bedroom is noisy throughout the night so if a light sleeper bring some ear plugs. Otherwise apartment was superb!

Super luxe appartement, vide slaapkamer met houten balken, ruime living en schone badkamer

voor de grote ramen in het appartement hingen lichte rolgordijnen, was daardoor rond zes uur s morgens al licht in de kamer

Great place overall. We would return.

It was clean and nicely designed. Great location. Amazing breakfast’s each morning! Beautiful furnishings. The staff were all very helpful.

The one bedroom had semi-difficult stairs, and the elevator was quite slow.

Gran Estancia en un Apartamento de Diseño

Nos gusto todo. Estuvimos muy bien. El ascensor sirve para subir las maletas y con paciencia, pero vale la pena subir las escaleras. El Apartamento tiene realmente un encanto especial y la decoración esta muy trabajada. Son unos artistas. Buena Ubicacion

El desayuno estaba bien, mejorable, por el surtido en general de lo que ofrecían, y por la reposición. Añadiría algún producto mas como Bacon o huevos, no había en ningún formato, Salmon, creps o pancakes.

Love it.

Very quiet yet close to every thing. Majestic is within walking distance!

Stair in the penthouse a bit too steep. And they should put up a warning note on their wall bed, which is kind to easy to fall down with a gentle touch.

Pleasant but did not meet expectations

The location is walkable to everything. The couch and bed were comfortable. The staff were very friendly. I was provided gluten-free bread upon request.

The room was not what I had booked. There was no washing machine, which I knew I would need when I booked the room. When I arrived, I needed to do laundry and was told I would have to pay at the laundromat across the street. Only after I contacted booking.com to complain did they offer to switch my room. But at that point, I had already paid for very expensive laundry and declined. Only once did I ask for my room to be cleaned and it was not done well. They did not change my sheets, clean the bathroom, or vacuum/sweep/mop. All they did was make my bed with existing sheets and take out the kitchen trash. Kitchen items like towels and pot holders were missing but quickly provided when I asked for them. Breakfast was essentially the same every day. Instructions for check-in could have been provided in writing beforehand to make it easier. I had to call for assistance when I arrived.

Fremragende ophold i centralt beliggende flot lejlighed i Porto. God morgenmad.

Fantastisk flot, nyrenoveret og rummelig lejlighed centralt beliggende i gå-afstand til byens største seværdigheder og stort udvalg af shoppingmuligheder. Fin morgenmad i flotte omgivelser.

Den centrale beliggenhed betyder at der er lidt støj fra trafikken, men det var dog stort set uproblematisk.

Perfect accommodation in a perfect loocation

The apartment and its facilities were beyond what we expected. It is stylish and well laid out. It has all modern conveniences and the breakfast is just right. Staff were all very cheerful and efficient. The location is central and within walking distance of all the major central attractions. I can't rate the property highly enough.

disapointing mainly because we couldn't sleep , too noisy

The breakfast was good. Coffee and Orange juice very good.

There is a bar located in front of the apartment and the noise coming from the bar, (customers on the sidewalk yelling and chatting and the music) went on all night until 04:00 am , very noisy, we couldn't sleep until 4:00 am, and then you have the recycling truck that comes at 5:00am to dump the big recycling bin..This was September 15 and 16th, I would not recommend this location. The apartment is nice, and comfy, but the noise from the bar went on from 20:00 until 04:00, this was unpleasant. We have informed the host/management of the issue and sent pictures.

Great experience - Porto is fabulous

Great breakfast. Good central location - main attractions and old town within easy walking distance. Underground station close by. Nice detailing in the property, preserving original features (eg shutters, exposed stone wall)

There was some confusion re access instructions to the property, as we were arriving outside of the staffed hours, however a call to the proprietors on our arrival at the airport had the issues sorted and we were texted access codes. etc

We really liked our stay at D'Autor apartments and the lady host was very kind and helpful.

wonderful apartment, even better than the photographs. the location is great and allows for all major sightseeing to be covered on foot.

no keys or lock mechanism for any of the bedroom/bath doors. for the room safe, it is necessary to collect the key from the hosts. the TV was (for some reason) non functional during the stay, though Netflix was working.

Beautiful apartment, well remodeled property. Friendly and accommodating staff. 15 minutes walking to all historic places and river, did not have to use any transportation. Loved Porto!

Exceptional

Unexpectedly wonderful. The interior of the building was decorated beautifully. Only 2 rooms per floor so very quiet. The room itself was very modern, quiet and large. Its location is walking distance to all the usual tourist spots of Porto. The bedroom was on a mezzanine level which gave the room extra space (just watch the stairs in the middle of the night). The breakfast was good with the staff keen to cook whatever you might want. Loved this little hotel.

Gorgeous apartment! Clean and spacious. We enjoyed our stay. The elevator was handy. Lovely and helpful staff. Great breakfast.

The area was good and close to all but the property is right on the street. Suggested parking was quite far.

Stylish, spacious and silent at a great location

What we loved most, is that the apartment was 100% quiet, no noise of neighbours at all, as the apartment is on the top floor and nog connected to other apartments. it was very spacious, stylish and beautiful and had everything we needed. Breakfast was perfect as well and location is great. Public parking a few meters away for a daily rate of only 10 euro. We definitely recommend this place, without a doubt!

I recently stayed at D'Autor Apartments Alegria and unfortunately, my experience was not great. While the apartment was spacious, it lacked character and felt impersonal. The room cleaning and services were disappointing as the cleaning staff was impolite and did not do a thorough job. The breakfast was also quite simple, and the elevator was outdated and in need of an upgrade. In addition to these issues, I found the bathrooms to be tiny, which made it difficult to move around comfortably. The beds were also quite small, which was a problem for me as I am over 6 feet tall. To make matters worse, the elevator broke down twice during my stay, with myself and my 2-year-old son trapped inside on one occasion. While I appreciate that the staff were attentive and responded promptly to our calls for help, the situation was still quite concerning and could have been avoided with better maintenance. Overall, I believe that D'Autor Apartments Alegria has potential, but they need to make some improvements in their services and amenities to provide a truly valuable experience for guests. With better customer service, elevator maintenance, and attention to detail, they may be able to provide a more welcoming and comfortable environment for their guests in the future.

Clean, spacious apartment just removed from the bustle of Porto’s tourist area — but still walkable (and if you can’t manage the hill back home, cheap short Uber back). Staff was very helpful and responsive. Would recommend to anyone.

Very nicely located within easy access to all the important sightseeing places Nice modern decor all equipment in working order peaceful inside good breakfast

regular cleaning of the suite was not consistently available and not clear from the outset as to what is provided. tea and coffee starter pack was provided but no milk/creamer
