I loved the location. And the garden was really nice too.

Very clean and close to town centre and the bus station
The light when you came in went of to early to dark to unlock door to room

Super comfy bed, great room size and a 5 minute walk into town. Beautiful views as soon as you leave the front door and a super clean place, couldn't have asked for much more at all.
Our room's window was in view of the neighbors but shutting the curtain solved that, a non-issue really.

Coziness and loved sitting in the chairs of the bay window. Great view.
Shower good
There was a machine in the room … it may have been a humidifier. The light was a bit bright.

Coming by train, it’s only 10 mins to get to. And just some steps down into town, plus 5 more mins to the harbour. And an excellent hillside panorama of St. Ives just from the front door.

A lovely little spot right in the heart of St Ives . I thoroughly enjoyed it

Virtually nothing.
DO NOT BOOK THE SMALL DOUBLE ROOM! The whole place is a glorified hostel - cheaply converted with paper thin walls and gaps under all the doors. We climbed the 3 flights to our room which was so small and cramped there is barely space to move around the bed. The bed was very small and uncomfortable, the room is so cramped we had to store bags under the bed as there is literally no other space. The sink is in the room....the "bathroom" is a tiny cupboard with a cramped shower, and the sloped roof meant my husband had to sit down to use the toilet! 1/4 a roll of toilet paper for 2 people for 2 nights and no way of getting more. Mould on the back of the curtains...cracks and chipped paint....hot and stuffy.... impossible to sit up in bed on one side due to the sloped roof... hearing every creak and voice from the room next door.
The photos and descriptions in the ad are for other rooms which might be fine, but the small double is ridiculously bad value for money. Just don't do it!!

Loved the location, walkable to everything we needed and where we met our other family and friends. Rooms clean AND decent size, has bonus everything you need, top up coffee milk etc available in the kitchen, use of shared kitchen optional.
if there was parking spaces as we had to pay extra £40 to park.

Good location.
We were there for a posh wedding at Carbis Bay Hotel. Our room was too small (room 7) and there was nowhere to get changed, do hair or apply makeup. The toilet was loose. The shower went from boiling hot to freezing cold. There was a kettle and tea bags but no cups or spoons. All Hallmarks of an organisation who are more interested in your money than providing a good service. My brother paid only 25% more than us for a far superior room at Tregenna Castle.

Very clean well maintained

The room was clean and comfortable , the kitchen also is very neat with all the necessary equipments to help with the short stay.
The balcony , I took the room because of the balcony however the balcony was left very dirty with birds waste and also water on the floor and chair without cleaning it, otherwise everything is okay.

It was near the town centre and very accessible to almost everything. I also love the concept that we checked-in and out by ourselves.
If ever a problem needs to be dealt with, it would be sort of difficult since literally no one is there for you to personally approach except those other people who are also staying.

Location was reasonable
TV wasn’t working, which was important I Longhi of the poor weather during our stay. We raised it with the owner several times but we never received a personal reply for the duration of our stay.
The carpet was heavily stained and dirty.
.The dehumidifier in our room was labelled as having to stay on but was noisy through the night.
Overall, disappointed.

Easy access to the main town and seafront, yet far enough to be quiet, calm and secluded.
The room was kept meticulously clean, warm and comfortable presenting good value for money.
By no means high-end, but an extremely well maintained establishment left wanting for nothing.
The view, however I understand some have a sea view and naturally carry a higher premium. The instant coffee wasn’t to my taste, but all was forgiven for having PG Tips as a fallback. It was a lovely place to stay regardless and I would return / recommend.

Amazing view from Room 5!
Very close to the center/ harbour.
The online check in and out was easy and the communication worked well.

Great value for money, excellent location 2 mins walk down in to St Ives town. The room had everything needed, was clean and comfortable. The key code access worked fine for us and had no reason to contact the owners.
Nothing of note

shower did not cater for a larger person
A glass door next to the loo ?
expensive when belatedly checked other offers in the area

It’s very close to St Ives train station and one minute into the shopping centre.
The view from the sea view room no five is very good.
The room contains a huge main window with comfortable chairs to sit and look over St Ives harbour and the sea, very impressive view.

Wonderful view from the front bay window of St Ives Harbour and out to sea.
Easy to access from the centre of town and from the station, and is also near the bus station (which I used to get over to and back from Penzance).
I didn't use it, but there is a shared kitchen with fridge etc.
Inevitably, given that it is St Ives, there are several steps up to Park Avenue, which was fine for me but would not suit anyone with limited mobility.

kitchen was well kitted out and clean
room small for a family, very dated decor, and inappropriate bathroom door.

Easy simple to come and go as you pleased
Modern and has everything you need for a short stay
Lovely view and location
Convenient from train station
Heating in the room didn't work the first night, although I managed. After notifying staff they were around in the morning with a backup and the room was nice and toasty again so I was happy
