We only stayed 2 nights but it was so conveniently located. Within walking distance to all our needs and not far from attractions. Didn't have to take the car anywhere. This was my first time using VRBO and all my questions were answered by the property owners including advice requests. Overall great experience

We enjoyed our stay on the Little Pearl. The marina was quiet and clean and relaxing. The boat had everything we needed. Close to the Constitution, MBTA Ferry and the North End.

Our stay on the Little Pearl was wonderful. It was a very quick walk to the USS Constitution and Bunker Hill, which put us right on the Freedom Trail. We chose not to rent a car and we were able to get around just fine using public transit and LYFT.
There's a Dunkin' and a 7-Eleven a short walk away to grab quick and easy breakfasts to take back to the boat and enjoy on the deck.
We did not use the kitchen area at all, so I cannot speak to that. I was surprised at the roominess of the shower on board and the water gets HOT!! Nights were a little chilly, but there were plenty of blankets to cuddle up.
Deb was very communicative prior to our arrival and check-in was a breeze with her assistant. We were lucky enough to be able to go straight to the boat when we got off our train from NY so we could drop our bags before finding a place in Charlestown for lunch.

Little Pearl is an absolute gem. I stayed aboard her 3 weeks; bed is super comfy, georgous linens, towels plentiful, the top deck view just lovely. the maintenance or problem solving (if you happen to need assistance) is superbly and amazingly quick; Deb the owner has great communication and super check in notes too; the Location just fab; pier 6 beautiful bar & restaurant around the corner and the fab ferry from just beyond your marina takes you to North End for a super cheap 3.75 where you can get the subway directly from there too; tatte cafe in Charlestown, a beautiful walk along the piers and boat museum is great; also a cafe 5 mins away on the pier too; l was a lady alone for a lot of my stay; the marina is so secure due to expensive other boats there! people living aboard around you, I felt super at home and safe I also found it great to work from inside; great table with comfy built in seating good for computer work or dining with great options for lighting. We slept two super comfy; air con and heating fab. Washing machines etc all available too - Thank you for such an amazing stay!!

The best weekend getaway! First time to Boston. Little Pearl was so perfect. We loved our morning coffee on the deck & walking to see the big yachts. We walked The Freedom Trail, Ubered from the Airport and to Fenway Park. Ate at many Italian restaurants in the North End. Everything was perfect! Sherry was a wealth of information! Don’t stay in a hotel!

We celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary on the Little Pearl. She is the perfect spot to enjoy the city, but still get away for the weekend.

The boat had water damage. The cable did not work. This was our first time on a boat and my wife legs could not take getting on and off the boat. Also the motion sickness from the water kept her sick. I tried to notify the owner and ask if there was anyway we could complete one night and receive a refund for the remainder of the time booked for the boat. I was basically told to take her to the doctor, suck it up, and complete the trip. My wife kept getting sicker so we ultimately had to leave early and forfeit the remainder of our monet. This is so unprofessional. Definitely do not rent from this owner!!!

Weekend on the Pearl
We were in town for Halloween with the Grandkids in Boston’s north end and tried this instead of a hotel. All in all it was a good experience. We really were only on the boat at night. We did enjoy walking the piers with all the boats lit up! I would agree with a previous review that mentioned the carpet could use a good shampoo. The other downside is very low water pressure. It really is just a trickle in the shower and will take some time to wash the shampoo out of your hair.

Magic in Boston
It was absolute magic. Great location, experience, and knowledge. Thank you Deb and Jim for such a wonderful anniversary for my husband and I!

Adventure for a birthday
Staying on a yacht seemed like an adventure, which it was! Climbing up into the q.size bed made me grateful to be experienced in yoga, but trickier for my 80+ year old husband as we avoided bumping our heads on the low ceiling.
Stanley Steamer might have a project here as carpet was in need, BUT, all of our needs were met on. this charming older boat.
We expected it to be a little more modern, although it was certainly comfortable.

Little Pearl, Perfect Gem
Staying aboard the Little Pearl was a unique opportunity for me, my daughter and Yorkie, Oakley. We loved every moment of our stay in Boston, and in the Charlestown Marina, so much so that we extended our stay to a full week! Being rocked to sleep every night was the best, and waking up to the sun rising and setting on the water was a bonus. Though our week was filled with taking in activities in the city, I enjoyed relaxing and having a night cap on the deck at night, and having coffee on the deck in the mornings. The surroundings, motion of the boat created a truly calming experience for me...one that I'll always remember. The host, Deb, is very communicative and informative. Check-in / Check-out process was a breeze. AND we loved Sherry! Sherry has a wealth of knowledge of the area, very patient and extremely helpful in getting us settled in and making sure we were comfortable throughout our entire stay. I simply enjoyed having conversations with her. When I return to the area, I know where I'll be looking to stay. Being aboard the Little Pearl beats staying in a hotel any day. The experience is incomparable!

Great stay in Boston
Loved my stay aboard the Little Pearl. Was perfect for these COVID travel times we live in. Sherry was fantastic in providing the initial boat tour and with recommendations. My stay coincided with the August heat wave and I was so thankful the boat had air conditioning. Loved the location - the marina is near the USS Constitution and it is easy to access all the downtown activities. Was great to come back to my own space at the end of the day and watch the harbor boats float by.

Unique and memorable Experience
This is a wonderful experience for romantic couple or families. My 17 yo daughter and I came to visit from Phoenix AZ and Little Pearl was exactly what we hoped for and more! We loved the gentle rock of the boat at night and the fresh air. My daughter said it felt like "camping on the water." The boat has all of the necessary accommodations and slept comfortably on bed and couch. The marina community was very friendly. We enjoyed watching all of the different types of boats go through the harbor. The property is accessible to shops and restaurants as well as blue bikes for rental. We would definitely stay on Little Pearl again in the future!

Had never been on a boat before but it was really fun! Enjoyed getting rocked to sleep at night. Be aware the inside is small like an RV. The property manager Sherry was great! Highly recommend!

What an experience!
The Little Pearl is absolutely amazing! So cozy and peaceful, the best place to come home to after a long day exploring the beautiful city of Boston! Location is prime as it’s out of the craziness of the city but walking to distance to everything we want. We hardly had to Uber. Our stay on Little Pearl made me never want to stay in a hotel again! Thanks so much for sharing this gem!

What a fun and unique experience! We were able to check in early to leave our car and explore on foot. Loved sitting outside in the evening and enjoy the lights of the harbor, not to mention seeing the amazing yachts!

Little Pearl Stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Little Pearl. Deb’s communication prior to our visit made check in and check out very easy. Sherry was a delight and shared lots of helpful information. We hope to make this an annual summer visit. Staying on the little yacht was a unique and wonderful addition to our Boston vacation.

Once again an amazing fun stay
This is the second time staying on one of Debs properties and once again it was amazing. The area is in a great location and staying on a boat is so much fun. We will never stay in a hotel when visiting Boston. Thanks again Deb!

Nice Getaway
Great place for a couple’s trip. Walking distance to transportation although we walked almost everywhere in Boston anyway.
The property is clean and well maintained. The shower is a little small and the check-in discussion took a little long. And aside from there being only a Keurig instead of a regular coffee pot, the amenities are great. The area is nice and safe but we were not given a key to lock the boat and that would have provided an additional sense of security. Would definitely stay again to enjoy this beautiful area.

Nice change of pace
We enjoyed our time on Little Pearl. The boat was clean and had everything we needed for our stay, including a well-stocked first aid kit (we needed a few band-aids). We e-mailed Jim and Deb when we had a question and got a call from Jim almost immediately. Sherry met us at the marina and gave us an orientation of the boat. She was very friendly and helpful. Deb sent information about Boston and how to get around ahead of time, which helped us plan our stay. We would not recommend the boat for anybody with mobility limitations or claustrophobia (the stateroom is small). For anybody else, this is a great alternative to a boring hotel room.

Such a great spot!
Loved our stay on the Little Pearl. Perfect location to get downtown in ten minute Uber or ten minute ferry. (Which we preferred). The marina is extremely safe, clean, and peaceful. Highly recommend.
