About this house rental
This is one of a kind, elite historic waterfront property in a highly desired location (Admiral's Hill), minutes from Boston downtown, Logan international airport, Encore casino, Charlestown (USS constitution museum), and South/East Boston waterfront with amazing views of the Boston Harbor, Tobin Bridge, and Boston skyline.
One of the best things about this property is its location. It's just minutes away from major attractions. You cross the Tobin Bridge while glancing at the beautiful Boston Harbor and Downtown, and before you know, you are in the heart of Boston. But also, when you come back, you find the peaceful and serene environment with views of harbor/downtown from the living and dining rooms/bedroom or patio, and larger space for your comfortable stay amidst the historic navy yard and allotted free parking (rare in Boston).
The house has 3 levels of living space, including a living room, sunroom, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, an office, and 2.5 bathrooms. You will enjoy water views and sunset from the house. Space is designed to provide ample space with privacy.
Outdoor includes a deck and patio with amazing views of Boston Harbor, skyline, and Bunker Hill Monument. In addition, you will enjoy the private marina/Yacht club and ships traveling just a few feet away. The townhouse is next to the waterfront park and tennis courts (free).
Two dedicated parking spots are provided. The house is close to public transportation with buses and silver line to Airport, South Station, Seaport district, and Revere Beach. You can also drive to one of the subway stations in 5-10 minutes and park there for 5 USD/day.

This was a central location for our visit to Boston. The space for the six of us was perfect. The kitchen had just what we needed.

The check in was relatively smooth, the space was big enough for our group.

Nice property and location. Easy to get to downtown Boston and airport. Lots of space, comfortable rooms and beds. Great to be able to walk to the playground for the kids. Free parking a huge perk!

We had a great stay at this house in Chelsea. Close to Boston for my granddaughters dance competition, but without the congestion and traffic of Boston. Quiet and peaceful right on the water. Seeing the fireworks from our patio was a plus.

Loved the quiet neighborhood and the park across the street for morning runs and evening strolls. The home had a lot of space for our large group. As other reviews have pointed out the home is older and a little tired, but still a great place to stay and would stay here again. The host was excellent and very responsive.

House was nice and comfortable. Only complaint would be the television.

We needed a place for family to stay and gather for our son's college graduation. This was a perfect spot - plenty of sleeping and gathering space. The sunroom was a particular favorite! And the riverfront location, with a park just steps away, was lovely.

This was the perfect location to Boston downtown and gave us the option to have the family members gather together in the evening and stay at the house to enjoy each other’s company instead of all going off to separate hotel rooms

My family and I were 7 total, and It was the perfect amount of space for us. The master bedroom has a side room perfect for 1 person. The location was safe and comfortable.

Overall, this was a nice property. There were a few hiccups (not enough towels for all guests, no baking sheets/pans, minor items that needed repair such as a toilet not flushing properly), but the host was very responsive. I cannot overlook the fact the picture presented in the listing was a MUCH higher view than what the view is from the actual property. The roof of the actual property is seen at the bottom center of the picture presented. The view was important to us because our visit was for the First Night Boston activities, which included midnight fireworks on Jan 1, 2024. We had a view of the fireworks, but the view was NOT the actual view shown on the listing.

This is a typical Boston home with steep stairs, 3 floors and bedrooms on the second and third floors! Comfortable, inviting historic home is very well maintained. Host answers promptly any questions you may have. Super, convenient location and gorgeous views of the water.

This was a beautifully maintained older home. We really enjoyed our stay.

The house is amazing. But the upkeep and mice were a problem. There was mouse feces in the home and window sills. We had mice in our rooms and they ate some of our food. There were cob webs and dust throughout the entire home as well. It was a shame becuase the home is amazing.

We stayed at this property so that we would be close to Boston, but not in the city. This was a great location. The view was amazing and it was nice to stroll along the bank in the park that is nearby. The house was great, even though it needs some updating. But it is an old house. The bedding was great and I slept well except for one night when there was some kind of construction noise nearby that lasted until 3:00 am. I got out my ear plugs and was fine.

Just a few small items. The main gates are closed at night. Our umber driver couldn’t find a way in. So we walked. The next morning we had to fine a security person to show us the way out. Also please supply regular black coffee. The location was good and we could walk to restaurants.

We had a wonderful time. We visited many places from FenwayPark, USS Constitution, Sam Adams grave and had a Sam Adams at Beantown Pub while lifting Sam Adams beer to Sam Adams., Mayflower and maymore places. The house had all the things we would need and was a good jumping off spot for our sight-seeing. Our host was helpful with suggestions and responded if I texted him.

Staying on this property was great. The naval history and views were wonderful. Definitely would recommend a stay. Note that all bedrooms are on upper floors with tighter stairs. If you have anyone with mobility issues that might be the only drawback. Didn’t impact our experience or stay at all.

The 6 of us enjoyed our stay at this location. We suggest you read all reviews to have a clearer idea of the condition of this older house. The stairs are steep and narrow, so we all made sure we brought down what we needed so we didn't have to climb them again, especial for master on 3rd floor. The house needs a little maintenance, like plants growing into kitchen door. Sarju was great at communication. Comfortable seating. Location was great for going to Boston and other locations.

We checked in late at night. The process of finding was a challenge! Once there the parking was not marked well but we managed to park in the stalls in the back of the home. The home is definitely stately with many rooms and steep narrow stairs leading to the 3 bedrooms upstairs. This is a large home meant for family which we really appreciated! Very good for family meals and hanging out on the large sofa. We loved the views from the front yard where we had coffee in the morning. Our beds were good but no bedside tables in the room we used, would have been greatly appreciated. The house itself is old and has been upgraded in several rooms. It could use some TLC in several areas where maintenance would be very helpful. Tape was used on the back doorknob and a couple of light switches in the kitchen which wasn't apparent why. Possibly a little sign on the wall would be helpful. The foliage around the kitchen door needed some trimming as it prevented the storm door from closing properly. Other than some missed housekeeping in the shower in the top bathroom, we truly enjoyed our two night stay in this stately home!

We enjoyed our stay! The property was just as described. The location was incredible! Scenic views, and a park right across the street. The owner was quick to respond to a couple questions we had. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

Our family needed a day in Boston to wait for our flight and this location checked all the boxes: close to airport, near the water, quiet, and large enough for all our kids

Helpful communication from host before during and after stay. Has a great knowledge for things to do in the area. We stayed here for the 4th and would have had amazing unobstructed view of the harbor fireworks, if not for cloudy sky. No fault of host or course! Most drives into Boston proper took 15 mins or so. Property was honestly a little shabbier than I expected. Knobs falling off of doors of master bath, paint peeling in small areas by stairs. Not a deal breaker but the place does need a little renovation work. Everything works, pantry was nicely stocked. A/C is adjustable and easy to operate especially in 90 degrees and 80% humidity outside. My wife said she would stay here again. I might look around a bit more first but you really can’t beat the area and view.

The host was very good with communication and the house was comfortable and we very much appreciated the access to laundry at that point in our trip. I do think the house needs a deep cleaning.

Beautiful location. Our family of five adults was perfectly comfortable staying at this lovely home. The host provided exceptional communication. The places we visited in Boston included the Freedom Trail, North End and Fenway Park. Uber rides to the each were quick and easy. A wonderful home and a perfect visit!

Beautiful townhouse in Boston! We had our dog with us and were pleasantly surprised when we walked in and saw a dog bed/bowls provided for us, it was a nice touch. Sarju is very responsive and provided us with a list of things to do in Boston, which we appreciated. We enjoyed our time in the house and would recommend it to others!
