Manzanita Waves House is an oceanfront home that offers breathtaking views of the Pacific from the moment you walk through the front door. The ocean and mountain views are some of the best in Manzanita! Every detail of the house is thoughtfully planned to create a relaxing and inviting space for our guests. Our home is equipped with the latest Sonos system, wireless internet, 4K UHD smart tv's, Apple TVs, chef's kitchen, ocean side hot tub, quality mattresses and luxurious linens.

Our home is a convenient, easy stroll to town. We love walking to town in the morning to get a coffee at Manzanita Coffee, Off Shore Grill, or Manzanita News & Espresso. Sometimes we walk into town to catch breakfast at Yolk (not to be missed), or a cold beer at The San Dune. In the afternoon, it's nice to hang out on the terrace at The Winery at Manzanita.

Nehalem Bay State Park is less than a 5 minute drive from the house. Our favorite hikes are the 7 mile hike up Neahkanie Mountain and the short 1 mile hike to Short Sands Beach. Both of these hikes are accessible within a 5 minute drive.

Another favorite outdoor activity is to build a campfire on the beach and watch the sunset. This is so easy to do from the house because the beach is literally steps from the door.

If you're a golfer, the 9 hole Manzanita Golf Course is a 2 minute drive away.

Really, everything is so accessible from this house. We hope you love it as much as we do!

We loved our stay at this wonderful beach house! Aside from the incredible location right on the beach, we enjoyed the casita and hot tub as well as the floor plan which was optimal for our blended families. Missy was very responsive and helpful and I would wholeheartedly recommend this home.

Everything about our one week stay was exactly as listed. A real plus was that all the furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. The private upstairs casita was special. Easy walk into town. Even the rainy days were fun. Missy was a perfect host!

We were thrilled with the property……location - amazing; house, layout and decor - outstanding; accommodation facilities - excellent. The place is spectacular and provides every necessity you could need or want. It was a wonderful 6 days for 6 friends to reconnect and spend time together at the ocean. An absolute treat!

We stayed a stormy April weekend and enjoyed looking out the living room windows at the dunes. The house is well appointed and clean, great communication with the owner. Everything in Manzanita is walking distance so while this seems on the far end of town it most definitely is not!!

We loved out stay at the Waves House. It was perfect for a stormy week. Well stock and pefectly set up for running out to the beach when the weather allowed but very hospitable for time inside watching movies, playing games and fixing meals and warming up in the hot tub. Also, we got six inches of snow and the owners was so helpful in making arrangements for us to stay another day. She was great. We would definitely stay here again.

We so enjoyed our time at this home in Manzanita. A beautiful city on the sea. The weather was gorgeous (70-80 degrees in October???). The beach a short walk through the dunes. Sat and read on the back deck. The kitchen is open to the living room and lovely to cook in and visit. The beds were very comfortable. I feel so rested. Thank you!

My family and I greatly enjoyed the Waves house. 2 minute walk through the dunes to the water. Perfect sunset viewing from the patio. Plenty of space me my wife and child took the downstairs rooms cause we prefer a cooler sleeping temperature. The queen bunk bed is perfect if your child is a nervous solo sleeper. You can feel like a kid again and still be comfortable. Missy was an amazing host for a first time renter, excellent communication, very understanding, highly recommend you stay here if you’re visiting Manzanita.

Our stay at the Wave House was amazing! The home is beautiful and the location is perfect. We walked to the golf course and walked into town too. Our favorite part of our stay, however, was the deck and the great room that overlooks the beautiful sea grass dunes and views of the spectacular Manzanita coast We all sat outside on the deck and enjoyed our coffee in the mornings and a glass of wine as we watched the sun set in the evenings. It was wonderful. The home comfortably accommodated our entire group of friends and family perfectly. The home is beautifully decorated, comfortable, clean and has an awesome beach style and modern vibe. We highly recommend this beautiful home and the hosts are the best! We are grateful they share their home for others to enjoy Oregon’s magnificent coast in Manzanita. As we are from Phoenix Arizona, it was so appreciated! 5 out of 5 Waves for the Wave House!

We loved this Waves home. The layout is great and the casita that is separated is awesome if someone needs a little more privacy. The hot tub is nice to enjoy at anytime throughout the day. First impressions tend to set the tone. Opened the front door of the Waves house to view blue skies, sea grass and sand dunes framed by six large windows - it was stunning. Accessed the beach from a trail that led directly from the back deck. The contemporary layout was highly comfortable. our stay was enjoyable and many great memories were made. Missy kept us updated and well inform throughout our stay. We’re already looking for dates for next season.

This place was fantastic. Roomy and very nice and comfy furniture. You can't quite see the beach because of the high dunes but the walk is easy. Short walk to town. Quiet street. Had an issue with the microwave but Missy responded right away and made it right. If you have trouble shutting the garage door hold the button down as hard as you can until it gets to the bottom.

I can't imagine finding a better rental on the coast

If you're considering this rental for your Manzanita trip, I encourage you to snag it! It's just as incredible as it looks in the listing – no disappointments. The living room area is on the main floor, with two bedrooms down a few stairs (perfect for my husband and me + our toddler), and the primary bedroom up a few stairs, with a short catwalk to the Casita. (Our friends split their family between those two rooms, so both families had some privacy.) The beach is just a minute's walk over the dunes, and you can see the sun set against the coastal hills. The instructions were all clear and comprehensive, and the managers were swift with replies to the few questions we encountered. All the bed are comfortable, including the bunk beds, so it would be a great place for a larger group of adult friends in addition to the nice privacy it offers separate families. This is a great place to stay with kids. The hosts have some beach toys to share. The furnishings are all really lovely and curated, so the accommodations feel luxe, but there isn't fussy decor that I worried about the kids messing up. It's a nice walk into town, and the older kids on our trip enjoyed riding their scooters in. We were glad we brought kites and planned some meals to cook and share. If I came back with a toddler, I might bring a small inflatable kiddy pool to set up on the deck; there's ample space and it gets a lot of sun. I might also bring some fabric to black out the windows for nap time. The rooms all get a lot of light, which is awesome for us adults. What a beautiful place. I'd happily book again, and I can't imagine I'll ever stay somewhere more lovely on the coast.

This home was beyond our expectations, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, and a well stocked kitchen. It was the perfect size to fit our family, and we loved how close to the beach it was and how easy it was to walk into town. We had such a great time celebrating a family birthday, enjoying some relaxation, keeping cozy during the few storms that blew through, and catching the vibrant sunsets from the deck.

Near enough to town to walk and wonderful beach access. Took a while to warm up but very comfortable. Very well appointed. Comfortable furniture and beds. Dining table is just stunning but the crevice down the center is a crumb catcher. The dragon tapestry! It was a great conversation starter and we all examined it for a long time! Love that! All in all a memorable stay!
