A historic, elegant and very central located hotel. I am a traveller a whole life. This is the perfect kind of stay one can actually wish for.
If you find any, please inform me... Honestly, there is nothing I can think of.

Posizione, roof e staff
La pulizia e gli ambienti non sono particolarmente puliti.
La colazione è inadatta nei prodotti e nel personale

The Location was great.
The property is very dated, The furniture, looks like it has never been updated.
We had 1 outlet in our room for us to charge our phones, laptops.

Breakfast included with the room reservation. Nice selection, amazing cappuccinos!
Staff was helpful and accommodating. Was traveling with my daughter. When we got to the room we found there was only one bed (had asked for 2 in the confirmed reservation). Desk staff immediately moved us to another room with the same amazing view-- and 2 beds.
Had breakfast and dinner in the Terrazzo (rooftop restaurant). Amazing views of Pescara beach. At dinner they sent over waitstaff fluent in English. Ferdi was incredibly helpful and professional. The wine list looked like our local yellow pages....one listing after another. He asked if I would trust him to recommend a bottle of wine that would complement our (fabulously delicious btw....) meal. We took a chance and what he brought was perfect and produced locally in the Abruzzo region-- and it was NOT the most expensive selection. In fact, far from it.
Our room faced Pescara beach and offered an amazing view of the Adriatic along with a nice breeze. In the distance we could barely make out Croatia! We saw the most brilliant sunrises. The one drawback is that our side of the hotel also faces the square (you can see it in the photo above) where a lot of people congregate. Seems like people tend to stay up late in Italy. It was a bit noisy (and we were on the 4th floor) for our liking but it did not prevent us from falling asleep and getting a good night's sleep.
One minor complaint is that we were not able to charge our dinner to the room. Fortunately, they accept credit cards.

Location
Outdated, things falling apart in the room, not so clean, mold in bathroom, sheets had rips in them. @5am you could hear blasting radio and stomping from upstairs restaurant set up.

a beautiful building with so much potential , everything is very dated , it really needs a refurbishment and repair program to bring back to former glory

Room was lovely with partial sea view even though I hadn't paid for sea view.
Breakfast was mostly cakes, pastries, breads. Was not worth the 10 euro extra.

Mattresses need to be changed. Breakfast needs to be upgraded.p

Central location, close to the sea
Old hotel, furniture from 30 years ago, no access card only a 300 grams key like on my grand parents time, at 12 PM a crazy staff cleaning the rooms with a vacuum cleaner, saturday night. I decided to leave the hotel one day before. It was incredible bad.

Excellent seafront location near to pedestrian shopping streets, very helpful and efficient staff, clean warm room, lots of hot water.
WiFi in room was a bit wobbly but it didn’t matter as there is good 4G in the area.

The hotel is right by the beach and a short walk to the Old City. Helpful reception staff. Incredible views of the seashore from the top floor of the hotel. A grand old hotel with an interesting history, clean and relatively comfortable.
Some changes could make the room cosier, for example a comfortable armchair, a wall plug for charging mobile Phones. Written information in the room about menus and timings for meals.
