quiet room with a comfortable bed
minor stains to carpets and scuffs to walls

Ontbijt was in orde, zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, kamer en badkamer waren zeer proper onderhouden
De matras was een beetje ingezakt naar het midden toe (niet dramatisch), het dekbed was een beetje smal

It’s in a great location for us as not far to the hospital….
Plus we meet family in the foxden…
Way too expensive, £160 for one night in the week is far too much…
Breakfast is not as good as it use to be…!!

Caters to gluten free. Bedroom was a nice size with plenty of space. Dog friendly.
There where a few large dark patches of stains on the carpet.

The cooked breakfast was obviously down to a price point

Location from city / airport

Location
The plumbing needs attention. Moved from first room due to smelly sink and then the toilet in second room would not flush properly.

Breakfast was ok. Choice of hot items ie eggs could have been better. A bit of a bun fight with items running out.

It was ok except location not where we expected

Breakfast was good, maybe the service stopped a little early as we arrived a bit jet lagged!

Friendly staff and great breakfast. Room comfrotable and well equipped.
Bit more guidance on parking, as shared with pub on same site. Not very clear where the parking is for hotel.

Friendly, helpful staff, we could store our bikes safely as well. The room was spacious and quiet. Breakfast was tasty, we liked the fruit compote in particular.
The only thing we’d recommend are more varied food options (for dinner).

The location was close to city Bristol city centre
Staff attitude on reception, paid parking, overcharged for paid parking, faulty electrical socket in room, smells and leaking tap in bathroom

Bed and linen were excellent. Bathroom was neat and tidy.
For one person occupying the room, the sofa bed was also made ready, restricting the space and movement. Even getting the tea kettle was challenging because the sofa bed was restricting the access to the table, chair and kettle.

Receptionist at this hotel, is a credit to the company (apologies I can’t recall his name), nothing was to much trouble!
Great location and value for money
0.5 / 5.0
I registered my car at the reception and informed the staff where have I parked. I was told I was able to park anywhere in the parking areas. I thought that registration of my car’s reg number at the reception is sufficient for paying for the car park and assuring that I have parked correctly. The staff at the reception did not bother to inform me that I needed to pay at the till outside. The signage is very poor. Now I have received a PCN. The staff now tell me that Holiday Inn doesn’t own the parking. This is again not clear when you check in

Nice rooms and the location was ideal for my purposes
A pork based breakfast buffet with very limited options for vegetarians. The bar staff are unfriendly and actually he didn’t know if the wine they are serving is dry or not, and refused to let me taste before ordering.

It was good

Location ok next to pub
The parking App is a con when scanned it takes you to a texting service for shopping which is charged at £ 5 a month, not very clear it does this and if you don't notice they will take your money, also costs to cancel

Good location
I think it’s not good enough to have to pay £5 per day to park as customers, this is a rip off. Also breakfast finishes on time and not enough staff to help in the kitchen. The few in the kitchen looks over laboured and they look very tired.

Breakfast had plenty of choice.Hot or cold items.Juices and hot drinks.
There was a lack of cutlery and crockery, which meant that we had to wait for these items to be cleared from tables and washed

Staff was very helpful and personable.
3.5 / 5.0
Breakfast is too busy, perhaps more staff needed to ensure stocks are replenished regularly. For example at one point there was no cutlery left, and some food items also needed replenishing more frequently.
4.0 / 5.0
The room was clean and a comfortable size. The staff was friendly and kind. Loads of parking spaces.
Breakfast was included, which was nice, and the breakfast/bar area was nice and spacious. I especially liked that they had takeaway cups for the coffee.
My only note is that it would have been nice to have more healthy breakfast options, like maybe granola for the yoghurt, multigrain bread, more fruits, some vegetables and more topping options for the bread. Other than that, it was quite lovely and what they had was tasty.

Clean and simple
