Metropolitana a pochi passi.

The hotel is well located, and even though the room is small you have a shower and toilet for yourself. It's located and a great area, the rooms are clean and the staff is helpful.
Don't pay for the breakfast "buffet" it's expensive and it's not worth it.
I have a situation where someone knocked on my door a couple of times and I didn't like that.

Location is fantastic, receptionist during the day friendly.
No air con and ceiling fan on same circuit as lighting so couldn’t have on overnight without removing bulbs from the lamps. No hot water for 2 days. Asked for a quiet room and got given a room overlooking the Main Street. No facilities to make hot drinks in room.

Breakfast
I reserve the room in hotel. I received information - room in attic. But: the room was 2,2 m high - under the bed - 1, 4. Total area 9 m2. The shower in the room. Small window. The elevator only to the third floor - roow was on the fourth.
During reservation I informed that we are by bicycles. During check in the receptionst explained me that I should additionally ask if the hotel has the place for the bicycles. Finally for my request she agreed to store the bicycles in her office for one night.

The hotel had everything I needed in a great location to access all the sites of Lyon. The decor has been tastefully done, the staff very accommodating and the food excellent.
I only had coffee and croissant for breakfast, though the buffet looked great ( though a bit expensive at €14). I ate dinner on one night, and though not cheap, it was a gastronomic delight, and obviously very popular in the neighborhood.
The room, though tiny, had everything I needed - it was very well designed to make best use of the very limited space. While I probably wouldn't want to spend a week there, it was perfect for a couple of days. The large window meant that the room didn't feel pokey, and the ceiling fan went some way to reduce the heat at night.
It would have been nice to have a small kettle in the room, however I was able to order a pot of hot water at the bar and bring it up to make a tisane in the evening.
The room does get hot, because of the large window and small room size - so Aircon would be nice. But the ceiling fan was relatively quiet and did a good job.

The location was convenient and it was quiet. The housekeeping was very good.
The room was terrible. Only anyone less than 5ft(150cm) could stay in the room without smacking his or her head on a low cement beam. same problem with using the stairs (the elevator only goes to the 2nd floor(3rd étage). The room’s bathroom door was press board and chafed if you brushed against it. The shower was fine but the toilet required angling one’s knees in order to sit on it. Fortunately the room had a window that opened otherwise it would become stifling hot. Finally there were no amenities for self service, i.e., coffee maker, tea bags, cups, etc. The staff, with 1exception, were indifferent, never smiling or even greeting us at times when we returned or were leaving. Breakfast was €20 but only set out once. We were never encouraged to eat dinner at the restaurant and no one ever inquired how we were getting on, did we need directions, etc. Perhaps they thought anyone staying there wan’t discerning enough to invite to eat at their restaurant.

Chosen for location, however the images online do not make up for the reality.. much effort has gone into the ‘public view’ areas but this isn’t the reality in the bedrooms themselves. the breakfast was ok..
1: The rooms-clean (except for mould and flaking paint) but tatty for example.. in our room, we had a small window, so longer length curtains had be ‘hacked (poorly) to fit’ 2: some of the staff.. first guy helpful, second guy ( when asking about local restau) ‘I can’t help you and I have no interest to either’ .. also upsold breakfast, no mention of additional dog charge, missing on checkout.. (staff all very young and more interested in socialising together in the bar than serving customers)

Location is great - just 15 mins walk from the Bellecour, basically I never took any transportation. Single room was tiny, but super clean and had everything one needs.
Loved everything!
