Jungles
Not clean, not taken care of, had a cockroach in my room, 3 times human hair in my food. Breakfast that included in the price was very small.

Cool and super nature friendly place
Options for lunch and dinner were limited and over priced.
Room needed some maintenance, could be in a better shape. There must be a coffee machine in the Room since the property is so huge it is hard to grab a morning coffee especially if you are an early bird.

it’s simple and in a beautiful location
we have been there before. it has grown and has become extremely expensive, and the quality has actually declined
4.0
beautiful nature with good location
air conditioning in the room didnt make room cold. it was really hot in room and humidity. also they should put a long mirror! the small mirror at the bathroom is not useful.

nice set up and good location
nothing on particular

I liked the atmosphere and enjoyed my stay. Beachfront room plays a big role it! Having a private hammock in front of the room and being few steps away from ocean-view pool was an amazing experience!
I read in reviews that food was expensive. I will call it pricey but totally normal for Tulum beach. I would add that food was very tasty. Fish and chips, octopus and french toast👌
I also read about scorpions in the room but haven’t seen even a bug.
They also host a party on Saturdays. It’s a must see in Tulum.
Location was a bit far from restaurants and clubs. You have to take taxi every time to go out. 500 pesos for 5 minutes drive 🤷🏻♂️

loved that the property was very authentic, I felt like I was sleeping in the jungle. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing with a view.
there was a small snake in our bathroom, nevertheless we got it out and the staff upgraded us to a private villa. Thankyou so much for the upgrade, it was totally worth it!

Beach location
The beach hut was located above the beach bar on the first night I had to inform the hotel that the music was too loud and the reason for my stay on the beach was to enjoy the natural beauty of the sea and the aroma and vibrant noise it gave out
The property gave access to non-residents to party and use the beach bars not very good for security also a lot more people on the property itself
for the amount of money the property had charged I found the breakfast which was titled the jungle breakfast very much not appropriate for the amount of revenue charged for the hotel it consisted of fruit juice a portion of fruit and an egg of your liking with coffee or tea I found on one morning I waited one hour for any representation of the restaurant to ask me for my choice

Loved the beach, beach service, property aesthetics, sweetness of staff.
Room size ridiculously small. Functionality poor and lighting was ridiculously low. Had to put make up on in restaurant bathroom. Staff created a private event for us that didn't actualize and failed to tell us and we built our whole day around it. Toilet paper and water not replenished. There was an all night party that was so loud we couldn't sleep until 5am.

The restaurant and both beach clubs are beautiful. the beach setting is very comfortable. The food is delicious and the staff very friendly.
We stayed in the cabanas thinking that our stay was short and we would mainly be at the beach but that was a mistake. they are ridiculously small for 2 people with a queen bed, very dimly lit, limited space to store luggage or to circulate around. it rained part of our stay and there is nowhere you can be confortable in the hotel waiting for the rain to pass, specially the room.

One of the most amazing vacations we have had in a while! The staff, the rooms, the ambiance, clean beaches, conveniently located, everything was amazing! We spent 5 days here and honestly was so relaxing. Wifi was great, air conditioning, room amenities, all fantastic. I will say the private pool was cozy, although the water was not temperature controlled. The staff is wonderful at assisting with setting up dinner reservations, Cenote tours, towels for the beach, etc. We came in October when the season is slower and with lower occupancy was really nice. Saturday night is their beach club party and well worth it. Pro tip, buy water and alcohol from local convenient store and keep in your room. Water is $6 per bottle everywhere and that adds up just as fast as alcohol. During the party, you can go back to your room and have a few before returning for the party. :) Highly recommend asking the staff for bicycle rentals and using them to get to places during the day! At night however, be mindful and get a taxi for your safety. When we go back to Tulum, high chance we will come stay at PPP again!
The food was lackluster.

- not your typical Mexico resort. Doesn’t feel like a fast paced, Americanized party resort.
- located in a jungle surrounded by nature
- individual “casa’s” ranging in sizes that were well air conditioned despite the straw roofs.
- good food
- friendly staff, never felt pressured to tip
- direct communication with staff via WhatsApp which was very convenient. ie: ready for a room cleaning? just let them know so you won’t be bothered by knocking when you want to sleep in.
- loved all the art installations: everything on the resort reminded me of Burning Man
- remember you’re in the jungle, so there is always some sort of noise: ocean, birds, animals. I enjoyed being able to hear the ocean though.
- poor lighting: meant to be romantic, peaceful, and relaxing. Became problematic only when applying makeup for a wedding.
- small mirror in the bathroom, also problematic when applying make up for a wedding.
- some problems that friends ran into: raccoon in their room, hole in the straw roof after an animal dug through it, no plug in the bathroom to plug in flat iron.

no separation between the toilet and the shower.

Amazing place with unique beauty, our casita was just at the beachfront. Privacy, minimalistic luxury, nature.
Restaurant and room service in general are not at the same level of the rest of the aspects. They are making an effort to improve though.
