Located in Bayshore, 15 minutes from Newport on a 7 mile long beach, this well appointed home will provide the perfect setting to relaxing and enjoying your time away. There are literally views from every room, every window. Looking out the front you have a great view of the Alsea Bay and the Alsea Bay Bridge. There are two separate living areas, the bayside room is set up for kids with Foosball, pool, air hockey, and ping pong. Additionally there are numerous board games and a 55" TV for gaming or watching TV, a perfect setup to allow kids and young adults time to play and enjoy. In the oceanside living room you will enjoy unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean with very comfortable furniture and large windows for your viewing pleasure, a perfect setup for adulting while the kids enjoy themselves in the gameroom.
There is fantastic crabbing in the bay and clams on the beach, great fishing as well. Local attractions are The Oregon Coast Aquarium, The Sea Lion Caves, local shops, Newport Marina, local golf, convenient shopping(a short drive), and so much more.

This house is perfect for our family getaway. Right on the beach and the beach is never crowded. Close to stores and 20 minutes south of Newport. It has become our family’s favorite for years.

I'm disabled and had trouble showering as there was no shower on the first floor. Also, it was hard to get in and out of the house due to the steep driveway. The game room was really fun. Couldn't attach the table tennis net though. The automatic vacuum that came on in the middle of the night was scary and annoying. Light bulbs need to be replaced in the dining room. Loved the view. My family had a wonderful time!!

Nice rooms, 2 faced the ocean, the other two had views of the bridge. The game room was awesome. Short path to the beach. We didn’t use the fire pit but there is one.
There is a mini mart at the entrance to the neighborhood, but a proper grocery store (Rays) in Waldport. Wood bundles were available at the mini mart.
Would stay here again!

The property was great. Right on the beach. Had several games and a nice game room. The hosts responded quickly and were great to work with.

The property we were supposed to stay at was double booked and the other people were already there when we arrived. Luckily the owner had another property a couple doors down and it wasn’t booked for the weekend so we stayed there. It was a little larger and had comparable amenities so it worked out. The only other issue? was the driveway was heavily sanded in and parking was limited because of it. (Luckily we had all wheel drive vehicles. I’m not sure a small car could have made it up the driveway) The patio was sanded in too. I’m not sure if they plow the driveways before people show up or of it’s always that way since these houses were built on the sand It was still good though and the kids had a great time in the game room. It was perfect for the wet and windy weekend weather.

If you are wanting to get as close to the beach as you can, this is the place! It was exactly what we were looking for. The location is great, it was right between all the sights we wanted to see. We played pool in the game room for hours, watched the waves from the back windows and enjoyed little walks down to the beach as we pleased! The beds were so comfortable in all the rooms we used (we had two rooms that we didn’t end up using). Going to the beach was an easy walk the wind does blow the sand right up to the door. So it does get sandy, but we just washed off the back stoop so we could get in and out with less sand and kept the broom close, very easy. Like I said it IS right on the beach over all we had a great time. Our kids loved it, the grandparents loved it and we loved it. We will be back again next year!

This was the perfect location for our family. There were plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, game room, laundry room and right on the beach. The house was very clean and well maintained. John was very easy to work with and truly wanted our stay to be memerable. Everything was well stocked in the kitchen, bathrooms, and other areas of the house. Lovely home!

We rented this wonderful home for 7 adults coming from all over Oregon Washington to celebrate 35 years of friendship. The home and location couldn't have been better. Everything was just perfect. Thank you for the fantastic stay!

The home was very comfortable & well suited for our family. Having one bedroom & half bath on the main level was perfect. The remaining 4 bdrms, 2 bathrooms are upstairs. The beds were very comfy! Nice towels and soaps in the bathrooms. A good sized, functional laundry room on second floor with plenty of soap and laundry basket was nice.
Downstairs we had the rec room with large TV, however with the ocean right out the back door we seldom used this. Rather we found the open kitchen/dining/living area to be our regular hang out when not at. It never felt crowded for our group of 9.The home was tastefully decorated and games and puzzles provided (though we had brought our own).
The only negatives (very slight and really can't complain)- Though the kitchen had most utensils to meet your needs organization was lacking and took awhile to find some things. Also there was no plastic wrap/foil/paper towels or napkins. A quick run to the store supplied those things and we left behind, so hopefully the following renters will continue to keep those in supply for the next group. The last thing is the dishwasher was full of dirty, stinky dishes when we checked in, however I am sure this was just an oversight by the cleaners. We had such a great experience I almost hate to mention these little things but I appreciate a detailed review.
Overall we LOVED this place and convenience to the ocean. I would definitely stay here again. Beautiful view, nice patio out back and enjoyed the firepit.

Fit two families comfortably. Can’t beat the location and view! House was clean and up to date. Really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend. The only complaint I have was the kitchen didn’t have any plastic storage/sandwich bags and no large kitchen garbage bags. Loved our time. Thank you!

Had a great time. VRBO never generated a key box code, but we were able to contact the owner for that. The cleaning crew was not finished at our check in time. They were very kind, but as we had three vehicles in our party, we were jammed up in the street waiting. The house was great, and the location was spectacular. Not a fan of VRBO, however!

Great location. Lots of state parks to the north and to the south made for great day trips each way. Be sure to back up the driveway — it is quite steep. The sunsets from the house were stunning!

Excellent access to beach although a person with limited mobility would have problems due to sandy slope. Lots of beach to walk and play on. We saw sea lions and many different kinds of birds. Very well equipped and clean kitchen. All of the spices a person could hope for, selection of teas and coffee, great assortment of pots and pans, cutlery and dishware. Very quiet home with game room for kids- perfect for family vacation. We couldn't have asked for more

We loved staying here! We had 2 families, each with two teens and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out! Location right on the beach was fabulous; lovely views and awesome to walk out the back door into the sand.

We were looking for a big home and this fit the bill. Accomodations were excellent. Plenty of room for kids and dogs. We loved being right on the beach. We beach combed, flew kites and used the fire pit. We even saw whales right from the window.

We loved our stay at this home. It had plenty of room for all of us. The only downfall is my mom is disabled and cant climb stairs so she wasn't able to shower during our stay but other than that AMAZING

It was clean and well furnished, a fantastic location and very comfortable. The only thing we didn’t like was the washer and dryer are incredibly noisy. Not a huge deal for most people but difficult with sleeping/napping kids.

Great trip, you are literally staying on a sand dune! With that comes the wind and the sand blowing but it was very fun and a comfortable house, with a great playroom.

This was the perfect property for our 3 generations! We had everything we could possibly need, with plenty of space, a fully stocked kitchen, a fun game room, and the comfiest beds. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back! Thanks John for a great week!

Loved the house! Great location, very clean, perfect for families with kids of all ages! The house had all the amenities. Only thing we wished was hat the driveway didn’t have so much sand on it. That would be my only recommendation for the property manager would be to shovel sand off driveway and walkway. Otherwise the house and stay was perfect!!

We can’t say enough great things about this beautiful home right on the dunes in Bayshore! The ocean is right outside the back door, we had a campfire the first night, storm watching on day 2 and easy travel for some sightseeing and shopping on day 3. John is the best VRBO host ever. The house is very clean, modern and well stocked. Can’t wait for a return visit.

The property is lovely - ideal for our family's holiday beach trip! In addition to a front-row seat for the ocean and the beautiful beach, a large, open living space, comfortable beds, a great guest room, and a well-appointed kitchen provided a wonderful place for our family to gather from all over the US. We highly recommend this vacation home. This beach house exceeded our expectations. The place was very clean and comfortable. The living room and kitchen is bigger in person than what the pictures showed. The large dining table has 8 large dining chairs that can comfortably seat 8 adults (there's no bench seating like the picture showed). The big picture windows have stunning views of the ocean, especially in some of the upstairs bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable and each bedroom was spacious. The kids loved the game room and plenty of TV's in every room. The kitchen is well stocked, so please take a moment to look through each drawer and cabinet to find what you need. We assumed there weren't any grilling utensils or mixing bowls but we just didn't look good enough. The house was very warm in December and we actually opened windows in the kitchen to cool it off. If cooking, I would recommend bringing your own cast iron pans, dutch oven, cooking pots, etc. We use higher end cookware so we brought our own. Also most bedrooms do not have locking door knobs and the curtains are very sheer. However, this wasn't an issue with our group. We loved staying here and will be back.
