The host, Jeanine, was absolutely lovely. Chatting with her after being shown around was a great way to start our stay. The place is very nicely furnished, the kitchenette in each bedroom was well-equipped and overall sports a beachy vibe. There was Enrico’s pizza place down below where we had a pizza delivered to us upstairrs. The next day we were treated to whales frolicking in the sea beneath our large terrace. We had everything we needed. Jeanine was even kind enough to give us an extra room for our 3rd child to have a bit more space.
The entrance to the property was not very well-signposted so we were a little confused at first.
The weather wasn’t great when we arrived so the beach feel of the place felt somewhat out of place - although I realise that cannot be helped.

Absolutely loved the accommodation, the views were breath taking. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Everything was perfect

Singing Kettle is virtually on the beach, above Enricos restaurant, stunning views and location.
You fall to sleep and wake up to the sound of the sea. The accommodation compliments the experience. Warm welcome, clean and tidy rooms, helpful staff, great facilities and good value.
Having to leave!!

All rooms in the lodge have the most amazing views on the ocean. The lodge is literally on the keurboomstrand beach and has a popular Italian restaurant underneath where you can have lovely dinners. The restaurant closes at 9pm so no worries for sound issues. Our room was big enough to have 2 adults and 3 kids.
Nothing that we didn't know.

Location - mixed view on this. it’s right next to the beach which is good, but it is a bit far from Plett.
room is clean
depending on which room you are in, you have slightly different angle of view of ocean. they are working with inverter (not generator) and with severer load shedding power shortage may become an issue(they cannot turn on the AC 24h)

Location right on the beach, quality furnishings, breakfast provided, beach chairs/umbrella available.
Nothing.

Directly at the sea, restaurant on the ground floor (it was not disturbing at all - anyway they close at 9pm). 10 min walk to the Arch.
No full breakfast.

The breakfast was fabulous. Just what we would eat at home. Also, great to have dinner just down below and not have to drive to a restaurant,
There was nothing not to like.

Location right on a beautiful beach - couldn't be better. Walking access to the very satisfying Enrico's restaurant. Large private sea view balcony. Kindness of staff when we had a vehicle breakdown and needed to check out a couple of hours late. The fruit basket had good variety and was replenished daily. The suite has a basket with beach towels and beach umbrellas are freely available. The manager brought a congratulatory letter and some delicious nougat to our suite on the afternoon of our anniversary.
While the suite is attractively and stylishly decorated, upkeep and maintenance are not what they should be at a guesthouse charging the prices they do - for instance, all cupboard handles were sticky and starting to corrode, the woodwork and wooden patio furniture are in a poor state, the patio roof leaks and it rained on and off while we were there, and the clothes drawers had been, seemingly very superficially cleaned before our arrival. The bathroom was ridiculously small by South African standards for a luxury establishment - next to no space to put one's toiletries while using the basin and shower as a result. The kitchenette is not very practical for real self-catering but okay if just heating takeaways. There werent even welcome choccies or rusks which is unusual for a luxury guesthouse - while we didn't necessarily want these, it just seems like economising is the name of the game. All very well but not acceptable when paying first-rate prices.

Staff was incredibly friendly and check-in was quick and simple. Views from the rooms are incredible and the room is pretty will equipped with everything you need, the Nespresso machine was a nice bonus!
The only downside was the price, I think it's fairly over-priced for what you get (reception hours are limited, there are no real 'lodge' facilities, pretty basic accommodation apart from the views).
