Great views. Excellent ranger Ryan has a lot of animal knowledge
All meals were low standard and buffet style. Rooms were cold. No plug points in the tents even though there’s a tea station but no kettle. Mosquito screen door came off and fell. One of the rangers sits and dines at the same table as guests which takes away the guests privacy.

We've had the experience of a lifetime, what an amazing stay! Personnel is skilled, very attentive, and capable of educating us on every detailed question we had about animals and nature. Tasty food with vegetarian options on request. The tents in forest camp are beautiful, and even though some unexpected visitors can come into the bathroom (insects, mice, and sometimes monkeys), the bedroom is completely closed off, which made it feel safe. Complimentary sunscreen, anti-bug spray, blankets and ponchos to make life easier.

Kim the ranger was excellent. Very knowledgeable and always found the animals and was able to answer any question asked of her. The feeling of being away from it all was wonderful, and great to experience a mini 'safari' and see the animals. We loved Cruiser, the tame zebra. The house staff were all very pleasant.
The main areas needed fans, even the bedroom as the air conditioner was poorly sited. The food was plentiful but very average by South African standards. More fruit was needed at breakfast and as a desusert option. The bathroom and outdoor shower were in need of updating. We would have preferred the option of sitting alone at meal times. The river trip was a nice introduction to the stay.
