Wally was hospitable, and it’s fairly easy to get down to the ocean and restaurants
Our beddings weren’t changed. There were lots of hairs on the sheet and pillows. And when we first checked in, the toilet was also not flushed. When trying to contact the property, no one picked up the phone or answered any of my messages. It’s been a few days since I sent them out, and still no reply. It’s quite disappointing and rude. Wally picked up the phone when I had called after checking out. He said management will give me a call back and chat with me about a refund, but I’ve received no call yet.

Great location! Everything was clean and in good condition. Host was amazing and very helpful. Offered us fresh mangoes and coconuts!! Overall wonderful experience.
Too pricy for what you get. Room should have been 1/2 the price.

The staff really goes above and beyond- they are so kind and welcoming. I can't say enough good things about Villa Coral.

this has been my only stay on Vieques, so I don’t know what other properties are like. it is on the older side, but in a quiet neighborhood, and within walking distance of Esperanza
no wash clothes in the bathrooms. very, very small rooms
7.0 / 10.0
This was the only decent place I've managed to find in Vieques on a few weeks' notice, and it was ok. The price was reasonable compared to the other guesthouses on the island.
The rooms are comfy and small, the toilet and shower were ok, there was a small refrigerator, and the sink is outside the bathroom. walls are pretty thin so you can hear other people as they come in and out.
Nonetheless, I would recommend it in case you only need a place to sleep, and not a hotel room where you can hangout during the day. It was easy to walk from there to the biobay tour and the taxi driver from the ferry knew the place so it was easy to find as well.
small rooms, thin walls.

Area was perfect for our tours and close to the town.
Comfortable beds
The manager was very nice and around.
Glad there were lounge chairs on the roof.
easy to find and everything was as described in the ad.

All was comfortable, it is a few blocks off the main street. Room is comfortable but it is small. Worked for my husband and I for 1 night.

Great location. 10 min walk to beach
Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner

The location was so convenient. Also, they made the check in process so easy to complete, so that we didn't need to arrive at a certain exact time.
We have been charged $20 for a "dirty towel"!!! Of course we did use the bath towels, but just to dry ourselves after taking a shower. There weren't any "dirty towels!" and they didn't even tell us until we weren't there anymore. We simply got charged for it for no reason. I would not book this guesthouse anymore.

Cleanliness. I loved when I walked in everything was very clean. There was that clean bleach smell. The sheets, bedding, and towels were clean, the bathroom was clean, the floor(we do not wear shoes “inside”—- I walked in barefoot-no sand, no stickiness, my feet were white) was very clean. Clean clean clean.
The location! It is set in the city of Esperanza, high on hill about half mile from beach, away from noisy beach strip crowd noise, in a nice quiet peaceful area overlooking the distant beautiful shore. There is a Nice little convenience store 5 minutes downhill. All walking distance to beach and restaurants and the brightest bioluminescence bay(snorkeling, bio bay tours, etc) this area is opposite side of island relative to Vieques port (which is set in the sprawling “city” of Isabel II, Santa Maria etc—15 minutes ride away.) It is a perfect balance of being close enough walking distance to do fun things, but far enough away from noisy touristy busy area.
The organization of hotel. There are 6 private rooms, all separate air/windows/air conditioning but share clean entry hall. The room is small basic contains bed and wash basin, bathroom/shower and fridge, small dresser set(estimated about 150sqft or 15quadmeter) Amenities are beach towels and cooler. The have a great large communal outdoor deck, fresh air, beautiful views of nature (and ocean far away). There is a communal microwave and sink and several tables for dining. Included is a section with couch and rocking chair for socializing. The building and facilities feels new, updated, well maintained. It’s definitely 3star rating!
The decor is beautiful in and outside. Clean and thoughtful touches. We were there for New Years and they provided us with fun glasses and horns.there was a bowl of red delicious apples( let me tell you it is HARD to find fresh fruit on the island, even in market).
The staff. The staff tried hard to be accommodating and by the cleanliness, they were very thorough.
There are wild roosters (they roosts in trees and can crow all the time also in middle of night). and other wild animals. Not about hotel….but bring earplugs if you are light sleeper.

Everything is good
A bit expensive

Loved that it was secluded from the rest of Esperanza, and yet so close to walk to the restaurants and the beach. Also loved the terrace.
For the price, the room was really meh. the window had the view on a wall and there was virtually no wind coming in. I also did not like the fact that there was no real door between the room and the bathroom - you va. hear and smell everything

great location and service. lovely roof terrace. Very clean and beautiful.
they need a water filter in the facilities and better information of places to eat and groceries stores. Theres also a photo of a kitchen that wasn't available. The door of the bathroom should be a real door.

Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning kept the room cool in very high heat. Outdoor shower is provided so all the sand stays outside. Staff was fabulous and very accommodating.
A bit of a walk to get to restaurants, a bit of an inconvenience but did not outweigh the benefits of staying at this guesthouse.

We had a great time in Vieques and Villa Coral was a big plus. Clean, spacious, cozy place. Not too far from the action but not too close to suffer from unwanted noise.

The lady who took care of the facility was awesome! She was who made all the difference!
Coffee area could have been better. No cream, no tea, and everything looked old and worn out.

Very clean room with a coffee machine. The bed was comfortable and it was very close to Esperanza town. The staff was also very helpful.
It wasn't the hotel's fault but the water cut out during the night because of some road works. However they left water canisters which was very helpful.
