Hotel management gave a key to my room number to a man who is not a guest of the hotel or someone I gave permission to enter my room while I was away . As the result important things went wishing from my room because the staff gave the key to my room number without my permission. The solution that hotel manager gave me was 10% discount for inconvenience.

So cozy and peaceful place with hospitality stuff.

Great large rooms & good range of channels for TV people. Gardens & now pool very Bali 😊
Generally a good set-up.
Initially told to go away as my room wasn't ready. No offer to sit at restaurant or gardens.
My downstairs room could benefit from minor refurbishment - repaint the walls to improve lighting, fix/replace the shower screen & base.
If the room was closed up, it quickly smelt damp (a common issue in Ubud). Am sure the upstairs rooms would be better aired.
Very close to the PARQ development.

The property itself is pretty, but the view does not correspond to what was advertised. The rice fields in the photos no longer exist... there is a very large construction going on instead, every day, including weekends. Staff was kind and helpful, thank you.
Nearly everything else... we booked a room with window on 1st floor, we were given a room in the ground floor with bad smell and moist. A lot of geckos in the room, as well as many ants. Some ants even inside the bed and crawling on our face at night. There are large gaps on windows and door, so insects and lizards just come in and out as they wish.
After 3 days we moved to the room we originally booked and it seemed better, except that it wasn't.
Not only ants and lizards, but also spiders and other insects. Furthermore, the water pressure was so low in the shower that it made it almost impossible to take shower.
The food during breakfast was also insufficient, and it varied a lot in quantity.
We booked for 2 weeks but in the end, we moved out to Kuta after less than a week and forego the payment, as it was non refundable.

This property was cheap, with friendly staff, and booked late notice. positive experience.
The bathroom amenities were a little broken and the sheets were stained but clean.

I loved the layout of the room and the bathroom, the spaciousness. And the facilities: kettle & fridge. Great comfy beds, aircon was working well. The staff was very friendly and always ready to serve. Laundry service was quick. I asked the staff to prepare a rose petal bath & bed for me and my partner upon arrival and they were very on point with that. I would consider coming back here with my partner!
I didn't like some furniture and bathroom felt old.. and in one bathroom it was quite a strong mold smell (though i didnt see any mold). some renovation is needed. Perhaps some tv service like netflix /amazon prime /hbo would make it more complete. The view from the pool wasnt so great, overlooking construction sites, maybe they could cover that with plants better.

The location is good, close to Parq Ubud, not too far from the Ubud centre, a couple of nice cafes right across the street or very nearby.
The stuff is ready to help.
- Old. It desperately needs renovation. Everything. Very old, grey (many years ago were white) bed sheets, with stains and holes. I asked to change them, was a witness of the process and regretted it — saw the blanket and pillows without the cover — so dirty!! Sorry, but it’s just disgusting. And definitely not hygienic.
- The furniture is old and has a weird smell.
- The bathroom is in a very poor condition — accessories and the walls cry for renovation!
- The hotel is surrounded by construction — be ready to hear its noice all the long.

N/A
Pictures are out dated, rooms did not look like the photos and are much older than the pictures.
Smell in the room was too much and we asked to change rooms which still had a smell but not as bad.
Mould in bathrooms and walls.
Smell from toilet and leaking water.
The white sheets were grey with stains.
Pool was dirty and unusable.
We checked out early.
Far out of town also.

Excellent place! I stayed in Gita Maha 5 or 6 times since I came to Bali! I love absolutely everything about this hotel! Rooms are huge, bathrooms are super nice, beds are comfortable, breakfasts are tasty and staff is friendly! The fish time I stayed there was after the Odyssey festival in Parq and I understood that there’s no reason In going back to Canggu if there’s a hotel in just one minute walk(!) from Parq. I came there not only alone, but also with my mom, with my friends and with my boyfriend! I wanted to show this splendid place to everyone ❤️ I recommend this hotel to everyone!
P.S. breakfast on the balcony is another level of pleasure

Location is a bit far out, definitely need a moped

The room was big, the bathroom was gorgeous with big window, friendly amazing helpful staff, beautiful garden, nice porch, quite area. Luxury at an amazing price
Photos weren't accurate of pool views. But still ok.

this size of the room is comfortable. enough quite room regardless nearby parking
the room was old, dirty and damp. does not match the photos from booking. the pool view is totally different. now some people live there and nearby is a renovation.the bathroom was smelly and dirty. shower water pressure is low. and insects! Ants are everywhere! on your bed especially. the bed has uncomfortable sagging mattress. also wifi doesn’t work almost at all. everyday we used to ask them to fix it and everyday was the same situation. when wifi works it was extremely slow. so it doesn’t worth that money stay there. But the stuff was friendly

old school balinese hotel, comfortable enough and good price. location is good but you need a motorbike . I always prefer to stay in the north of ubud than the center. about the food is true what they say in other reviews but it’s expected, never book breakfast in this hotels. anyway if you have motorbike 2 minutes away is a great restaurant called Ithaka we’re we went all the time

A wonderful hotel with very kind and friendly staff. perfect location, very close is a great restaurant with delicious food. Affordable price, clean pool, spacious room, from the terrace a great view. Thw hotel can arrange the shuttle from the airport, just let the stuff know about that. I highly recommend!
I liked everything, just a few recommendations: I would have liked more snacks and drinks in the minibar and it would be good to activate the restaurant for coffee, lunch, dinner

It is a peaceful place with a beautiful garden and large enough pool for proper swimming and with a beautiful skulpture. My room and bathroom were huge, the bed wide and comfy. I had a nice shady terrace surrounded by plants. Saw a lot of butterflies. Good WiFI. The staff, with some exceptions, was very kind and helpful. Loundry service was exceptional and fast (ready in same day). There are a couple of very nice restaurants near by as well as cheap warungs. Not much trafic.
It is far from Ubud center, and no internet based taxi services are allowed to the area, so the transports are a problem for someone who don't drive scooter (like me). The hotel provided a driver who was quite pushy. The walk to Ubud took an hour. The view from the pool is to a building site that is on hold for the moment. The toilet smelled a lot of mould, so I had too keep the ventilation constantly running. For those of us that don't eat rise or noodles for breakfast the alternative is the american one with lots of sugar and no fibers. The only salty course was the egg if you put salt on it. One morning almost all incredients were out so it consisted of plain toast, very watery banana juice and instant coffee instead of the normal good and strong bali one.

Loved this place, room was clean and comfortable and I can’t believe how great it was for how much I paid.
I’ve stayed in way for pricier places in Ubud and this was better. I’m not even going to look elsewhere when I visit the area again I’m just going to stay here again.
The breakfast could’ve been better. But considering the price and how quiet it’s been for them due to Covid it was completely understandable. They do
Say on the site that they will try to cater to personal requests but I didn’t find it necessary to go that far, there’s so many great places to try out in the area anyways but for accommodation this was truly excellent.
