The apartment was really spacious and quite literally a stones' throw from the beach. The staff were excellent in all aspects and always happy to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. Special mentions go to Diana, Hope, Hans and Shimsa for making our stay there special. The breakfasts were basic but good, and you can order eggs (boiled, scrambled, poached, omlette) which were really tasty. The lunch/dinner options are also very good and there is the option of room service. Highly recommend the live music evenings which also has a BBQ and buffet with local food.
There wasnt much we didnt like...if I was being critical I think the cleaning of the pool could be reviewed/adjusted as our son's hair turned green due to the chemicals being used. The place is so close to the beach, which is a positive but it does attract alot of unwanted attention from locals trying to call you over. You cant relax for 10 minutes without being distracted and hustled. However you learn to ignore their requests.
The hotel is situated in the middle of Jambiani village, the roads are quite bad (like most of Zanzibar) and there isnt a great choice of shops/restaurants within walking distance. Luckily we hired a car as we found this a more affordable way to explore the island...if you are staying at Jambiani Villas you may want to consider hiring a car also, it can be expensive to visit places etc

Exceptional staff! From Daniel at the entrance to all the people in the restaurant. The 3 managers where so kind and approachable, easy to talk with. The whole place feels like a big family! It was so sad to leave Jambiani Villas.
We loved everything!

The service was good. The staff was very attentive and helped to schedule tours and both taxi rides (to and from the airport). We even had a problem with the airline when traveling back home and one of the hotel managers took her time to call the airport and ensure that all was fine, which was lovely and extra helpful of her. The rooms were very spacious, clean and well kept. There is AC and a fan which means that the rooms were constantly cold. The food was great and tasty, including the daily menus which are constantly changed and offer different meals. The pool was lovely and the beach front location is great.
The hotel has a little bit of false advertisement. The photos online show one of the three properties available, which is the main one - the one with the restaurant and the massive pool. However, our rooms were located in a secondary property, about 400m away. This meant that if we wanted to go to the restaurant we could walk either through the beach, or - if the tide was high - through town. The staff are very attentive and do offer to guide you when walking through town, but it is nonetheless an uncomfortable experience as it takes about 10 extra minutes and we did not book the rooms with this information at hand. They do offer room service for free, but the service is very very slow. We also had issues one night when the water was completely cut off from our room (no toilets, showers, etc) from about 10pm to 9am. When we communicated this to the staff, their response was that "we could've taken a shower on the main property" - which was quite frankly disappointing as that would have meant that we would've had to walk 400m just to take a shower in the restaurant's bathroom, which is not a service that reflects the prices we paid for the hotel.

The property is in a fantastic location, with a great pool and beach and amazing staff. The roof terrace was awesome & had superb views of the sea. The breakfast was nice with an array of food & the staff were very hospitable. our first stay in Zanzibar and we will certainly return 🙏🏽❤️
Everything was perfect.

We liked the villa and all the amenities that it has to offer. Also the manager was really nice and attentive. Also the food was delicious.
The beach is really nice but we got constantly harassed by all the local people trying to sell different things. By no exaggeration, when staying on the beach you will be approached every 2 minutes with "Jambo! How are you? All good? Hakuna Matata! Listen, do you want to buy (whatever product I have to sell) ??"

Massages via the Hotel are amazing. Carolina is a Queen!

The massage with the therapist is amazing.
They organized for us the Blue Safari and the Dolphin tour and it was awesome.
The wifi is unstable.
Taste of food can be variable but is globally okay.

A beautiful property located on the beach of Jambiani, calm and relaxing vibe, very comfortable and spotless. View from the veranda is out of this world. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Fresh and tasty breakfast and delicious local food, that we tried at the Suahili night. Recommended 100%, thank you for the great stay we had with you.

Our stay was comfortable and the Rooms are very neat.
The water pressure was extremely low on some days in the shower not sure what the problem was. Diid not bring it to managements attention.

My bad evaluation about staffing is only regarding guest relationship managers.
All other staff were great (housekeeping, restaurant, front desk).
Not only it took guest managers several days to bother say hello to me, but only one did. And for several days all others just kept staring at me without saying a word. As if I didn't pay for my booking or something. I've never experienced this in my whole life. One even interrupted me while I was talking to some other guests at their table, to say hello and talk to them ONLY, while standing right upon my shoulder, made me feel so uncomfortable that i left the table. And when the next day she asked me how i was doing and how was my stay, and i explained her my feeling, she apologised of course, but as if I really was invisible she said she didn't notice me. Thank God this is not my 1st time in Zanzibar but this will definitely be my 1st and last time at this hotel. They really made me feel uncomfortable, and not welcome at all.
Besides this, for those who would be travelling alone, if you get to stay where i was (where the restaurant is) the sunbeds are so close to the stairs to go to the beach that you hear all day long the people selling jewels talking as they spend the day on these stairs.
Breakfast is good but way too salty. And it might be worth investing in service clamps instead of works (this way even Polish managers could show the right example and not help themselves using their hands!).

An absolutely outstanding villa with views and pool to match. My only regret is that I only stayed one night in view of which the staff let us check out way after the official time... the hotels restaurant serves exceptional food and the 2No hotel managers I met were more that helpful..... definitely returning.

Everything was perfect. Special thanks to Joseph, who made our stay even better:-)
It would be better as "Adults only" accommodation.

Everything. From the location (beach front) away from crowds and quiet. Well equipped apartment, you can see the sunrise from the balcony and room. Pool just in front.
A bit tricky to find the correct jambiani villas, there is 3 in the same area. Good signs at the road and streets would help
