Very chilled, kind owners, good breakfast and great location!
The beds are made from a type of foam which causes you to sink into the bed. Hurted my back and was not comfortable at all.

The location just outside the center is great. The views are magnificent, nice patio with hammocks where you can relax. Breakfast is simple but good. Owner is super friendly and helpful.
It is true what has been said in other reviews about the mattress. It is really hard, but for us it was okay. If you’re okay with that, I can definitely recommend this place!

Great location, quiet. Good wifi and parking for the car. We loved the little dog Dana. Everything is clean and beds are comfortable. Hot water under the shower. Well equipped shared kitchen ( locked around 21:00). Good simple breakfast
The external private toilet is not private but for several rooms. No toilet paper and no towels provided.

directly in the nature, great view, very friendly, good value for price
the outdoors could use a bit of work

This is an amazing Hostel to stay in Salento - close to the town (15 min walk) but completed surrounded in Nature - the staff was amazing, kitchen well equipped and a nice place to hang out - we recommend for anyone willing to have a quiet/ nature stay in Salento.
only downside was our stay in the small house (two beds), very uncomfortable beds (very small and hard) and loads of sandflies that make the stay very unpleasant. Other rooms inside the house were perfectly fine !

The location was wonderful. Staff was super friendly
Luke warm shower water, it gets very cold in Salento. The room & bathroom is pretty run-down for the price.

Great unique location with excellent views over the valley. The communal area and kitchen were nice to meet other people who stayed. We saw even two toucans next to our little yellow cabin. Breakfast was good and simple. Hosts were very kind. Also an excellent base to hike your way to the other coffee finca’s to do some excellent tours or birdwatching!
The beds were quite firm which we didn’t like so sleeping was for us a challenge but that’s personal preferences :) The room was small so it was a challenge to get our stuff organized in the room and keep it dry (we had a lot of rain during our stay).

A nice view, clean and comfortable. Close walk to town, but quiet. Good breakfast
Only one bathroom to share with other rooms. We did not try the shower

Great house in the middle of the hills. Slept like a charm, and breakfast served on a balcony with a view! Alfredo is great and the hot shower was great! It’s like going back in time, and it’s a good change from hotels…

Friendly staff, hammock for free to use in the public area, breakfast was enough for me (two eggs, one piece of pan, fruit-plate, coffee, that's it). Walking distance to center and the jeeps, to get to the Cocora Valley is about ten minutes.
Really cold in the night, maybe a small heating or big blankets should be offered.

Nice place with a great view! Good breakfast.

We loved our stay here - we stayed in a cabin outside which was super cute, nice and warm. The grounds are beautiful with a lovely view. There’s a nice comunal area overlooking the valley with games, couches, hammocks, tables. The breakfast was good. Shower is hot. The place is well maintained. Overall really good.
It’s a little bit of a walk to get into town, but I think that’s just the trade off for staying somewhere with a bit more nature/open space.

An issue with other guests that left the hostel at 4am and made so much noise they had no respect for other quests sleeping. I feel that the hostel should have intervened and asked them to be quiet

The place is very nice and authentic, so much nature around and recharge you with energy.

it was very quiet and nice to relax after a day put and about.
magalie is a super host and very welcoming!
the beds are super unconfortable

We stayed in the one bedroom bungalow with a shared bathroom. We shared a bathroom with a couple that booked a tent space and it was always clean. It was quiet at night and we were able to sleep well.
The beds were very hard.

The best place to relax and connect to nature. It just feel like home. It has a wonderful view and in the morning you wake up with the sounds of the nature.
I liked everything.

This is probably our favourite place in Colombia so far! Only a short 10min walk into the centre, and located overlooking the mountains!
Nothing- it was perfect.

the room was clean and bed comfortable. breakfast was basic but good. great view and nice yard! very quiet and relaxing.
location a bit far from the town. no kitchen.

Absolutely beautiful place. The location is kind of a dream, a bit outside the town’s center (but just 10-15m walk away), very quite and with a garden that has a beautiful view of the valley. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing stay surrounded by the beauty of Salento’s nature.

This property is a bit outside of town (expect a 15 minute walk down a quiet, but safe, road) but for the walk, you get a great view of the valley from the porch where we ate breakfast. The rooms are simple but met our basic needs (warm shower, firm & comfy bed, air flow from opening windows). Other guests were there, but everyone was quiet & we slept wonderfully both nights. The owners/lady at the front desk was very helpful in helping to give suggestions or arrange transportation when we needed it. For coffee tours it was great (bring bug spray though!!) as its right on the road that the Willy Jeeps use to get from Salento square to the farms, can easily catch a ride from the entrance of the hotel as they pass by.
There is a little bit of maintenance that could be done here & there, but nothing that is a deal breaker; its simply an older home in Salento & that in itself is what we were looking for.

The location is BEAUTIFUL — this is definitely one of the prettiest places I’ve stayed in Colombia. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The host was so kind and accommodating, she even helped me order a taxi to the bus terminal after checking out.

Nice location with a cool view.
Beds were extremely hard, literally hurts your back and is unacceptable.
Breakfast was very simple and no variation possible.

The place is beautiful, off the center and noise. You’ll hear birds in the morning and insects at night. It is clean and comfortable, you can hang around, use the kitchen and have a nice chat with Alfredo. He is super kind and incredibly helpful. And he made the breakfast even possible for a vegan person. just excellent - didn’t want to leave.
