Ich würde sofort wieder hier buchen

Außergewöhnlich nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit großer Auswahl, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Für ein so kleines Hotel ist das eher ungewöhnlich und hat mich sehr positiv überrascht.

Ich habe in einem Einzelzimmer mit Terrasse übernachtet. Hier hat in meinen Augen ein kleiner Schrank bzw. mehr Ablagegläche für Kleidung gefehlt. Ich weiß, dass in machen Ländern keine offenen Steckdosen in Badezimmern erlaubt sind. Allerdings wäre es schön, wenn es irgendwo im Zimmer eine Steckdose in der Nähe eines Spiegels geben würde ;-)

The staff are the heart of this lovely hotel.

Central, clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast, all the staff were first class.

There was no electric kettle in the room but the girls at reception kindly made tea for me. Lots of steps to get to and from the hotel but that’s Valletta!

Great overall experience.

Everything was great, the included breakfast has so many delicious options. The location is in the heart of Valletta close to very picturesque streets. The staff is really helpful and nice.

The room was a bit dark but that is because of the density of the architecture in Valletta.

Great Hotel for a City Trip

The hotel was really nice. The location is great. You can reach Valetta Bus Station within 10 Minutes walking. Also you are located in middle of Valetta, where you can easily discover the whole City by walking. The room was very clean and comfortable. There is water for free in your room and also a coffee machine. The breakfast was very delicious with a lot of different food options and good coffee. The whole Staff was very kind and helpful.

Amazing…would definitely stay i. The same hotel the next time I am in Malta

The aesthetics amazingly cute. The location could not be any better ( literally in the heart of Valetta). The staff absolutely amazing. Super helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet very delicious ( as a vegetarian I was able to find a lot of options)

Modern Boutique hotel in Great area

Quite central to everything in Valetta. Nice spacious and modern room. Very clean, newly refurbished modern premises. We had an internal double room which was more than adequate for a 3 night stay. It had a coffee maker hairdryer, tv, dressing gowns and slippers, separate toilet and walk in shower. Good breakfast. A night time bar too. Staff couldn't do enough for you. They even booked a taxi to take us to the airport and included it in our final bill so we didn't need any cash. We peeped in at other 'suites', when they were being cleaned, they looked amazingly large.

It's built on steps only shallow steps but as my eyesight is not wonderful. I struggled a bit both day and night getting our and back to the hotel. Also because I have blood pressure, I find it hard to walk up steps or inclines. Valetta is very hilly. Which we hadnt expected. Our room was an internal room, so no windows as such. The Air Conditioning was very drafty, we had a thick quilt on the bed, even though the temperatures outside were in the 30s. But the AC was so drafty, you would need to pull up the quilt because the draft on the top of your body was too much then you would sweat profusely in bed at night. I think the AC would be better placed somewhere else in the room. They tried to turn the AC down for us but it didnt help. Those are the only problems. The former which the hotel can't help. We peeped in at other 'suites', when they were being cleaned, they looked amazingly large and beautiful.

I loved my 2nd stay even more than the 1st one last year. Let's hope the 3rd one will be even better

Room was great and its view was very pleasant, also the local TV channels' availability was nice. Breakfast was perfect. Location is totally ideal.

Terrible elevator music in the lounge and in the mess hall. The music in the lounge plays even when guest uses the TV. The toilet paper quality was very low. Rooms should have smart TV's like the one in the lounge. Web browser in the lounge TV wasn't working.

Didn't like the beds the memory foam in the summer is too hot to sleep on. Shower door was broken and resulted in a puddle of water for every shower.

Valletta - a charming old city and the official city tour is well worth taking.

Staff were most helpful and friendly. Breakfast - a splendid choice and the coffee was great. Location of the hotel was very good for exploring the city with its many churches and shops. The numerous steps provided plenty of exercise for those of us who need it (but not with a suit case). The hotel had very good street maps.

Storage space in my room was sparse - no cupboards or drawers. The clothes rack was six feet high and the hangers were fixed, which made it more difficult for hose of us who are not six feet (1.83 metres) tall. The table in my room was rather small for all the stuff it holds.

Top suite with the best view

Our stay at SU29 was just great. The staff is exceptional, they are super polite, assistive, always welcoming and truly one of the best service team I happened to experience. The room we had was just wow with the breathtaking view from the terrace. On top of it room is very well equipped. And the breakfast buffet is great! Overall, this is a really great managed small boutique hotel and I definitely recommend it.

Our first choice hotel in Valletta!

This is a small, boutique hotel whose size, position and attitude to customer care results in a very special experience. The location is absolutely perfect, only 5 minutes from the Upper Barrakka Gardens and really well placed for all the other major attractions. But the bonus is that the location is also very quiet at night, being on a side street away from the main streets and bars, whilst being convenient too. We spent nine nights in Valletta and having looked and some of the other hotels we had been considering, I can honestly say we would choose SU29 over any of them! The rooms are lovely. They’re all individually designed and decorated, with some lovely touches. Importantly, they’re all spacious and especially the harbour view room we stayed in, which has it’s own galley kitchen, huge panoramic windows and a fantastic balcony. But no hotel is any good if the staff don’t match the quality of the accommodation. I’m pleased to say that this is not the case here. I honestly cannot praise them enough! We travel widely and to be treated with the level of respect, kindness and friendliness we experienced here is extremely rare. They are an absolute credit to the property! Nothing is too much trouble, with a ‘can do’ attitude expressed at all times. My wife and I were gutted to leave and we genuinely feel like we’ve found our home away from home in Valletta. We cannot wait to return. Well done SU29! 10/10

Very comfortable beds. Very very kind and smiling staff. Welcome juice. Every day fresh bottle of water.

The only thing I could suggest is that more hooks for the towels in the bathroom would be helpful.

Pleasant

Location and breakfast was great, very friendly staff.

The room smelled like mold and the smell of mold got into all of my clothes. If I was allergic, I could not have stayed in the room. The shower was leaking on the floor and the walls of the room were like cartoon; you could hear all the noise from the corridor, neighboring room and from outside. Because of the noise, could not sleep well.

everything was great. from the staff the to bed. the staff was more than accommodating to make this stay the most memorable it could have possibly been. thank you again for everything that you did for me and my guest.

I only really found 3 things that were small issues. the handle to our door was a little lose you had to try a few times before it would open. the tv decided at one point not to work for about an hour and there was a very small leak from the shower. the front right of the shower leaked on the floor near the toilet but it was only a very little bit. other than these small things everything was perfect.
