About this cabin rental
You've probably never seen a cabin quite like this - Spur Track Lodge is a brand new custom built cabin with an amazingly unique cabin experience you won't find anywhere else. Located in the highly-popular Powder House Pass subdivision with all paved roads, and access to the local clubhouse where you'll enjoy shuffleboard, a pool table, and a heated pool open all year! Just outside of Lead/Deadwood, you're only minutes away from enjoying skiing at Terry Peak, or you can ride your ATV right from the property to the local ATV trail system that runs close to Recreational Springs. Trail #5 and the Mickelson trail run adjacent to the neighborhood, so bring your favorite ATV or snowmobile and ride to your hearts desire! Being in the center of the Northern Black Hills recreational corridor, you won't ever have a problem finding new adventures to enjoy with your family and friends. Deadwood, where you can enjoy some local festivals or great restaurants, is only 15 minutes away from the property, and there's taxi service to/from the cabin. Spearfish Canyon, with it's rim-rock canyon walls, great hiking, prized fishing, and waterfalls is only 5-10 minutes away from the cabin. Wanting to take in the major attractions like Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Keystone and more, you're just a short 1 hour drive to all these great places! The open living and kitchen area makes this cabin truly one-of-a-kind with it's many large windows let in a large amount of natural light, and give you a picturesque view of the surrounding forest. It certainly brings a new meaning of bringing the outside, in. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals and entertain your guests. The lower level has a living area as well with a mini wet bar, and a flat-screen TV with comfortable seating that leads out into the patio under the deck with the hot tub. There are 3 bedrooms including a loft, making up the 4 bedrooms. There's 2 queen beds located in the loft with a private bathroom, the main floor bedroom has a queen bed, one of the lower level bedrooms includes a queen bed as well, and the final bedroom is located on the lower level with 4 total single/twin beds as two bunk beds.

Our family stayed here for a long weekend in the Hills. House had everything we needed and made our stay very enjoyable.

House was as advertised, but the kitchen configuration was challenging (large island, small path) bring your own paper towels/toiletpaper/tinfoil/soap, etc. Nice deck, and daily deer in backyard.

Great location and beautiful house! Oven did not pre-heat, tried to contact property number for help, no one responded. Did not have basic kitchen items such as a pizza cutter or cooking spray. Did not ever get contacted throughout stay or after stay about oven that did not work.

This rental was very welcoming upon arrival and felt homey. We came during the off season it seemed like as most restaurants nearby closed fairly early or weren’t open at all. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean. We really liked the fireplaces in each of the living rooms and used them during our stay. The WiFi isn’t very strong there and was hard to use for watching movies on our fire stick. It worked fine for other typical browsing. The fridge ice maker was broken on the door, which was disappointing. I also felt like it could use a deep clean as there were noticeable cob webs behind the nightstands and quite a bit of dust on the stairs edges. Overall, I was happy with our stay and would definitely do it again. The hot tub is awesome and was relaxing after a long day of riding around. We also really liked that they provided games to play as well as bean bag boards. The garage was nice to have to park the sidfe by sides in as well. There’s a nice German restaurant nearby called the sled haus i believe that has really good food.

My wife and I stayed in a beautiful house in the Lead area to go off road trail riding to see the fall colors and enjoy the back woods in piece. We were not disappointed. We were close to trails and other activities for convenience. We also had a 2 car garage. The house was clean and comfortable. The staff at Black Hills Adventures were very friendly and easy to deal with. This was our 2nd experience with them and hope to do it again.

The rental was pretty easy to find in the new development. A little closer to neighboring houses but still very nice place. Only 2 things that were not up to our standards was the fact that the immediate area wasn't mowed down. There's thistle weeds chest high all the way around the side and rear of the cabin so there was no yard area to relax on. The other problem was the cabin wasn't cleaned very well. The grease trap on grill was completely full and dust and debris behind headboard of bed. But came equipped with everything you would need and very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again

It would’ve been nice to get in early since we left a day earlier than planned and still paid for that evening. All in all the place was nice and there was plenty of room for everyone. We would stay there again.

Black Hills Excursion
We introduced the wives to the Black Hills via motorcycles! Not a better place to return to after a day on the road. Location, neighborhood, amenities, and check-in communication were awesome! House was large enough for us all. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Will definitely return!
