Big room, comfy beds, super clean and perfect location to explore the fort

Big AC Room, Comfy bed, Nice Location. Host family was super nice organized airport transport for us and even prepared a little take away breakfast for us.

Wohnen in zentraler Lage mit familiärem Ambiente

Zentrale Lage in Galle Fort. Kleines und individuell gestaltetes Hotel, das von Mutter und Sohn geführt wird. Beide sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Helles und freundliches Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon und Meerblick, über Wendeltreppe erreichbar. Ferner Klimaanlage. Landestypisches reichhaltiges Frühstück wird auf der Terrasse serviert, das beste auf unserer Reise. Als unser Transfer zum Flughafen unvorhergesehen ausgefallen war hatte man uns am frühen Morgen kurzfristig einen Ersatz organisiert und damit unsere Rückreise gerettet. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Lovely family and great location to explore Galle Fort.

Great location and exceptional breakfast.

Didn’t like that I wasn’t told I needed to pay in cash until I was leaving and I needed to pay. Paying in cash wasn’t an issue at all, but it meant I had to walk to a cash point.

Stay here when in Galle

Really nice family owned place, spacious rooms really convienently located. They are willing to help you with everything (for us a late checkout and taci to the airport) and they serve a fabulous Sri Lankan breakfast!

Homely and comfortable - the perfect stay near the old fort and Indian Ocean - incredible breakfast.

This was our second stay at Sirene Galle. We truly love our stay here. A beautiful home and property right next to the old Dutch fort and our room also had an ocean view. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The family are very helpful and down to earth and we enjoy speaking with them. Their breakfast is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka and we always look forward to it. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. We love everything about it and we can’t wait to come and stay again.

The location is realy good and the family woh runs the place is very nice and helpful.

You hear everything what is going on in the room next to you. The balcony was not really a balcony itwas more like a winter garden. The stairs are really narroe and steep.

Lovely place to stay!

Very nice and quiet Hotel with care-ing owners! They where very welcoming and gave us a nicer room and helped us with the parking of our tuktuk. Great breakfast!

Awesome place to stay in Galle

The location and breakfast and staff are superb. Really warm welcome and we left with full bellies as the breakfast just was so delicious. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Galle.

Great place to stay in Galle Fort

A comfortable sized room with all the essentials, such as Mosquito net & AC. There was excellent tasty traditional breakfasts that set you up for the day and the hosts were really friendly & helpful, especially when a Tuk Tuk (driven by Barty) was needed to get out and about. Would definitely recommend this accommodation if you are looking to stay in Galle Fort.

Excellent stay and plan to return.

It was easy to find in Galle. We were given the top room with a private glassed in terrace and view of the walls and sea. Breakfast was excellent both mornings and included fruits from their farm. Family owned and operated.

Really nice room, great for exploring the city, the view from the top floor room is great.

We had a really nice stay in the Sirene Galle fort. Its in a great location close to the centre of the old town but also just next to the city walls which are perfect at night for a walk. The owners were so friendly and helpful, they organised us an airport taxi and even allowed us to use the room for a quick shower before we went for our flight. We will definitely visit again.

Experience a good feeling

Awesome location. Inside galle fort, beautiful place. Wonderful srilankan breakfast. The breakfast was complete and tasty. Warm, sociable and kind owners (mama and her son) for suggestion the best place to have lunch and dinner. Overall stay is very comfortable and well.

We had wonderful stay at the Sirene Galle Fort. The family is really nice, warm and helpful. They serve every morning very delicious traditional Sri Lankan breakfast at lovely outside terrace. The room was very clean and nice and the location was perfect. We really recommend this place.

Simple home stay withease of access to the main fort.

Location and breakfast. The hostess was very welcoming and kind.

since there is ongoing scheduled power cuts, the staff did not take any efforts to provide the basic necessity such as battery powered lantern etc. We had to manage with our phones and 1 single candle provided.
