Hotel was beautiful, stylishly furnished, and wonderfully rennovated heritage building. Cannot fault this hotel. The staff were exceptional - felt like a family. The food was exquisite. Rate included breakfast, afternoon tea, and happy hour drinks which was a pleasant surprise and just delicious. This hotel has been done brilliantly and will definitely look to stay in more of the group hotels in future.
Can't find any fault with the hotel. It was incredible.
Only issue was booking.com being hacked and sending bogus phishing requests for payments for which I still have yet to receive a response or apology for this data breach. Book direct with the hotel - they are FABULOUS.

Breakfast was great. Location perfect.

Dinner ok
The hotel has zero sound insulation - it felt like we were sleeping on the street
For the amount of money they charge - it’s way overpriced. I wouldn’t stay here again or advise anyone to stay here
4.5
Walking distance to all attractions, renovated hotel which was a result time for our family
Galle does not have a well organised airport transportation to Colombo, 2 hour drive...which is the only international airport in Sri Lanka. Expect the only transportation from hotels which can get very pricy. 200-400 use per way. otherwise you can arrange a street driver in a slow not too comfortable suv version transportation for 100 usd.

great location
no pool and the outlook from the rooms was into the walkway.

Everything, can’t fault it was just lovely place, best in Galle
Taxi transfers arranged via them where overpriced but that’s to be expected from such a high quality hotel

This was by far the best property we stayed in on our entire trip to Srilanka. The old town house converted into a hotel is an experience, one that you have to see for yourself! The hotel is breathtakingly beautiful. The staff is lovely and VERY sweet. We went for our honeymoon and when they found out they decorated our room and our chocolates.
The food is AMAZING. Best food in Srilanka. Their Wadalappan with Tamirand sorbet was the best combination. Feels like a Michelin star meal. Everything on the menu was perfect. It was so good staying inside the fort. Perfect way to see it
Nothing at all! Everything was great

This hotel is gorgeous. We learned that it used to be an old colonial house and the recent refurbishment makes it a real treat to stay in. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff are very friendly and helpful. When we checked in with our passports the manager noticed that it was my birthday the following day and surprised me with a cake, which was really touching.
Had a great manicure and pedicure at the spa. Food is great.

very good location, friendly staff and comfortable room.
For what you get this hotel is overpriced. It was extremely hot during our visit and the hotel does not have a pool.

This is my second stay at the Fort Bazaar. I like the location, the comfort and the interior design of the hotel. The room is spacious and the bed / pillow are comfortable. Food tastes great. The innovation of the hotel is impressive and the interior of the hotel is beautiful, although there are some spots that need urgent repair e.g. leaking ceiling.
If your room locates at the end of the corridor, you can here the working sound of the electricity generator or the sound of the working machine of some sort. It's on and off for the whole night and rather disturbing. Generally, the staff of the hotel are polite, and attentive. But the staff at the Church Street Social (the restaurant at the hotel) was little too friendly and not quite efficient e.g. very slow service and delayed in clearing the table.
Extra attention should be given to the cleaning of the cutlery, plates and napkins. Napkins give rather unpleasant odour - as it they were not dried properly.

Location, decor, size of the room
There is no sea view like booking.com says. You must change that. Tables in the restaurant on one day were dirty. Could be a little more attention to detail. Also pool is under construction so they offer to tuk tuk you to jet wings hotel. Big hotel on beach. They did give us a spa treatment and bottle of Prosecco as a sorry. No female therapists available.
