extremely friendly and helpful and charming staff
great breakfast
rooms are quite small for a long stay
if you hungry after a day of hiking or skiing, the servings in the restaurant are much to small..
Sauna and Jacuzzi are nothing special but overpriced

All the staff spoke great English, made us feel welcome and relaxed.
It's a peaceful, family run atmosphere which has been decorated beautifully throughout.
The food at dinner was delicious- all three courses, and breakfast choices were very good too.
Water pressure in the shower was great!
Really nice small touches like the quality of the shampoo and showergel and that there was both hand wash and cream in the bathroom, gave it a more luxury spa feel.
Plus having usb sockets built into the headboards made charging devices easy and not on the floor for once!!
Overall though it's the staff that made us feel welcome and comfortable.
Room was quite hot but then we've stayed on the hottest day of the year.
Small space for hanging things.

Fantastic location and we were lucky enough to have spectacular views of aurora borealis. We stayed in a lodge; this was a good size, really comfortable and it was nice to put a log fire on. Breakfast and meals were served in the main building... slippers provided.
Staff were helpful and friendly, doing some extra 'gritting' on the path to make it easier to get luggage to the lodge.
A little disappointed that after contacting and requesting a restaurant menu (to meet the requirement to reserve a table 48 hours before), the menu was not available and only 2 options were available (the food was nice, but is pricey).

The staff there were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean
Location was a bit out of the way, made worse when taxis were super expensive there.

Seems to us like the hidden gem of Alta — maybe they need to do more marketing. :-) It’s an amazing place, really lovely staff. We got an upgrade to our own hut, which was just amazing. The guides are helpful and also the breakfast was nice! Would definitely come back.

Near sky slopes
They are in a remote location but don't do lunch. So unless you travel or bring you're own food you go hungry. The staff seem to have no idea what they are doing.

A bit outside of Alta in a beautiful mountain forest. The team was incredible helpful and friendly, preparing everything in a perfect way - there was no need to ask anything from our side. Pretty modern cabin with full view windows and a LOT of space. Dinner was excellent and the breakfast had everything you would like to have for a good start in the day. Really happy with our choice to stay there - so we will come back for sure. :)
Nothing to mention

Wonderful quiet location, friendly staff.New buildings built with natural materials. Nice fireplace, relaxing atmosphere.

Very cozy and modern lodge. We were very happy that the early check in was available. Very nice staff working in the morning, they even opened the breakfast one hour earlier for us. (Thank you so much Anja!) Very nice with the friendly sheep living right next to the lodge, our son really enjoyed feeding them.
It is a bit pricey. Thin walls, it sounded like they were moving furniture upstairs at midnight so it was hard to sleep.

Close to Alta, yet not in town. Surprise great restaurant , 3 course menu, not a ala carte. Very friendly staff

What was on the breakfast table was homemade and delicious!
The 3-course dinner was exceptional thanks to a creative chef who uses local products. His humility is striking when put next to an mouthwatering talent. we had dinner the 2 nights we could (first night we arrived too late) and cannot wait to be back for more.
I really appreciated the wool slippers provided at the entrance of the main building. It added to the cozy feel of the building, which is so tastefully decorated and placarded with huge windows looking over the snowy landscape.
We saw the Northern Lights on our second night from the hotel ground and the owner kindly shared the professional photos they had taken on the Northern Light Bonfire Activity trip that night even though we didn't participate in it. I could have never immortalized The Moment without her photos! ;)
It was the third stop on our Norway trip (Trondheim-Tromsø-Alta) and, by far, the best one! The quietness of the place was unmatched... The view from the lodge big bay window was so powerfully relaxing, so white and, a few meters away, a view from the fjord... gorgeous! We want to come back and enjoy the ski slopes that the hotel owner also own and, definitely, this time, spend the whole day dog sledding (an hour and a half is clearly not enough!). ;)

We stayed for 5 days 4 nights and it was one of the best accommodation we had on our trip! We booked the standard room initially but realised that it was not the room I was looking for, so we did an upgrade to the cabin loft on the day we arrived. All the staffs were extremely hospitable and warm making it the perfect stay - special thanks to Monica, Jack, Katelin and Hans. The cabin is definitely a 10/10 with a gorgeous view and clean facilities. Loved every second there and wished we would have stayed longer - we will definitely be back again!
Water heater tends to run cold very quickly but other than that, all's good!
