We stayed 4 days, and it’s a beautiful spot to relax. It’s a lovely property, and the amenities were as advertised.
The Queen and twin mattresses could use improvement, and the lack of curtains on the lower level leads to 5am wakeups due to sunlight. The Venetian blinds present just aren’t up to the task. Some of the deck chairs are in need of repair, and one is nearly broken through.
Overall, a lovely way to get away from the heat, and breathtaking views of Rockford Bay made this a family vacation that will be a treasured memory.

The view was wonderful the house was very comfortable. It could use a good cleaning and anyone who rents this needs to be aware that there are no condiments at all. Usually in other houses there are salt and pepper shakers, some cooking oil and maybe a few spices. There is nothing in the kitchen in that way so be sure and bring your own. We had a beautiful on the back deck in the sun, with the deer and an eagle in the tree for company. If the house was cleaner it could be a 5.

Spacious home with plenty of space for a large group, and incredible views of lake CD’A. Nice place, but needs TLC and a deep cleaning. With this done it will be great. Bugs in the window sills, deck hadn’t been swept/cleaned in quite some time. Pine needles overflowing from the roof. Guest shower upstairs has a broken shower head bracket which was “fixed” by installing the wand at about the 4ft level. With some deep cleaning and upkeep this could be 5 stars.

the home was clean and as advertised for the most part. plenty of room and the dog yard was great. only complaint is sleeping would have been an issue if we hadnt brought cots. worked out though, and we would come again.

We loved the location of the property. The house was well laid out and we had plenty of room. It is an older home that needs some TLC to make it a bit more inviting. Overall we had a great time.

We loved the house. It was clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. The downstairs was perfect for our older children to hang out in. We had an issue but contacted the host and they made it more then right for us! Do bring your own laundry soap and toilet paper the house has some to get started but you will need more.

Walking into the house when we first got there was probably the worst part about this stay. As you open the door, the stench of dogs just slaps you in the face. I understand this house is animal accessible but I think if animals are allowed there should be some sort of special cleaning that can be done for the next group that shows up. Other than that, the house was everything we would’ve wanted and more. It is extremely spacious and the jetted tub was perfect to end a long day. The amenities (pool table, ping pong, etc) were great as well. Will definitely recommend this house to any family/friends looking to stay near Coeur d’Alene and I will definitely rent again. Thank you

Big home with plenty of entertainment. The weather didn't cooperate but can't blame the house for that. Gas stove, board games, pool and ping pong were a hit. A little further from town than anticipated.

The home was equipped with so many extra comfort supplies, from games and books, to baby items. We brought Christmas decorations and it was a splendid, snowy, celebration.

We loved the location of the home all though it is difficult if you plan to paddle board etc. There is a narrow strip of public land down to the water but there are huge rocks there so it makes it difficult to launch... we did it but we were hoping for a little better spot than that to launch our paddle boards. The view from the living room is incredible no need for a TV and that good because the TV in the living room will work for movies but not for cable. We did watch a football game while we were there but had to do so from the basement where the cable did work. It would be very nice to have a sheet there with what channels are what (ABC NBC ESPN etc). We enjoyed the games in the house and also used the ping pong table. The home was very nice except for how dirty it was inside. Most of the floors were clean but we had a dirty pan that was left in the oven, the pads for picking up hot things were very dirty and we washed them and they came clean so we assume they weren't washed at all. There were two towels left in the washing machine that had big red stains on them. we had a pretty big infestation of fruit flies in the kitchen that took us about 4 days to get rid of. We contacted the VRBO team but no one ever came to help with that.
The master bathroom had a very small amount of tissue paper and the other bathrooms had none. The bathroom in the basement had an old bar of soap left in it so not sure if it was cleaned before we arrived or not.
Apart from the home not being very clean inside we enjoyed the deck, BBQ and the view especially. We saw Turkeys, Deer, ducks geese and even a mother Moose with her young while were there. The good thing for the cleaners is we left the home a lot cleaner when we left than it was when we arrived.... We appreciate being able to spend time at such a beautiful place. OH yeah while you are there make sure you go to Shooters, food is great, service is great and also very quick!!

First off the house is great and I'd stay there again.
I am also a Vacasa rental OWNER so I'm surprised at some of the missing items.
- TV is incredibly small (basically a computer screen) with only local channels
- There was no laundry detergent
- The toilet paper was sparse at best, we had to buy local
- We spent all weekend light on bath towels only to find at the very end that many were left in the dryer by housekeeping.
Again, great house 5 stars would stay again but at this price and with no real beach access they should have it stocked properly.

Plusses: house is nicer and in better condition than the photos suggest. Can sleep many people in a number of rooms, big dining table, primary bedroom has a table that can be used as a desk, and wi-fi supported video conferencing pretty well. Paddle boards and kayak are very nice to have.
But not the best value considering the price and the lack of waterfront (we were visiting friends with a place on the lake down the lane but wouldn't book without access to their beach) and many smaller things that added up. Such as...
If you want to cook, bring your own equipment. While the kitchen has lots of dishes, there were no plastic cutting boards and only one incredibly dull chef's knife (basically useless). Remember to bring extra garbage bags and dishwashing tablets. There wasn't enough propane on our first night to barbecue and no extra can so we ended up forced to cook at our friends' house. (Vacasa's initial response was awful, "That's all you get." I drove out to Elder Road to try to buy an extra but nearest propane tank was back in CdA town, at least 45 minutes away.)
AC shut off at night and there was no way to access the thermostat. Highs were over 100 degrees on the days we were there and so it was hard to sleep.
Some beds were not comfortable. $500 mattresses from Costco would be a big improvement.
The exterior dog area in the backyard was not secure so don't rely on it as a run.

We had a great time. The house was as described in the listing. Our stay was during corona and I felt that it was cleaned well. We had plenty of room to spread out and really enjoyed playing pool and ping pong. The fenced in yard for our labradoodle was very convenient, even though the steps down were a little steep. We also used the paddle boards and canoe. The access to the water is definitely steep and could be difficult for the very young or elderly. Due to the weight of the canoe and the steepness of the water access, it was really hard to carry it back up the hill for my early 20something kids. The paddle boards are much lighter and were easier to transport. We brought our boat with us and found that the marina was only a couple of miles away. And we were able to keep the boat in overnight mooring. Over all, we would definitely go to this property again. One minor suggestion, the front of the house needs a little TLC Regarding yard maintenance. And the front entrance needs cleaning. Lots of spiderwebs!

Great house full of family fun
This house was super clean (except for the floors which left us with black feet :/). It was filled with fun games, puzzles and ping pong and pool, which kept the 6 cousins that stayed together here (ages 12-3) busy for hours. The access to the lake was more adult friendly than for kids, but the canoes and paddle boards were such a great bonus for the family fun. The fully stocked kitchen and outdoor grill made cooking in easy. Thank you!!

End of June stay
Loved the location and the house. However, there were a few issues with the cleanliness when we arrived. One toilet was plugged, there was what looked like laundry soap (a lot) in the sheets of one of the beds, there were a lot of foreign hairs in the showers and tubs.

Clean, comfortable!
The ONLY drawback is the water access, if you want to swim you will not find a good beach on this bay. Access aside, what could be controlled was excellent.
We did put our paddle boards in below the house and traveled around to the marina 4miles down and found a perfect tributary off the marshy side of the boat slips - really great weekend, thank you!
