We liked the view, helpful host, outdatet but clean rooms. Good hard beds.
Check in time window was limited. Far from centre of Como. It didn't bother us, but there's noise from the highway nearby. Breakfast ok.

The villa was gorgeous and made me feel like I was traveling back in time.
The location was inconvenient and not accessible by public transportation. I also think that the check in time is late at 1800. This makes it difficult to plan your stay if you are switching hotels.

Owner was super friendly! Room spacious with gorgeous rooms, also outside terrace and dining area really comfortable.
There was no refrigerators in the room, also some rooms had proper portable air conditioning devices while some had only fans. Really difficult to access, some info about buses or taxi would have been helpful before stay.

The house is locatedin a beautiful place, on the hill over the city. It is very peaceful with a great view. The villa is very romantic with the od furnitures, our aparment was roomy, comfortable for 4 persons. Everything was very clean, and the cleaning lady came daily to put everything in order. The owner was very kind and helpful and we loved the two cats staying around the house.
My husband missed a little more rich breakfast, but it was for fine for me.

The location and views were superb.overlooking Lake Como The garden was lovely to explore . The breakfast was just what we needed with plenty of choice to choose from . The fruit was delicious. The local pizzeria and gelato were one of the best we had visited and we could walk there so we could have a drink :)
If you need Charging ports for mobile phone it had old Italian plugs so maybe having an adapter which would fit this at an extra charge even would be useful . We found a modern plug with air conditioner so used this so we were fine in one room :)

The house was very old and had a rustic charm but was absolutely spotless.
The breakfast was basic but not dissimilar to others we have experienced in Italy.

The host was so welcoming and friendly. The B&B was so stylish and an amazing view of Lake Como.
It was one of the highlights of the trip staying at Villa Corti:)
I liked everything

This place takes to you back in time. Located in a wonderful garden with a beautiful view, you feel like time has frozen when you step inside. The villa has kept its original spirit with the nice decoration and furniture without giving away from cleanliness. Definitely an experience for people who do not look for chain hotels without spirit. We stayed in a room with private bathroom, I would not prefer to share this with other people. As I understood not every room was like this. For us everything went fine.
The wifi signal is only available in the ground floor. Yes, it's a place to disconnect and not work but you should be able to make a whatsapp call in your room. Not as a negative point, indeed the location was perfect for us but you definitely need a car to reach in and out.

We recently spent two nights at Villa Corti in Como and were absolutely charmed by the beauty of this hidden gem.
Reached via a steep winding road, the views from the property are simply breathtaking from every aspect.
The host greeted us very warmly, despite the fact that we were well ahead of the agreed check in time and had taken advantage of the outside seating area to enjoy the views.
The villa is a rare find in such a popular tourist focused area and is the perfect romantic getaway for couples wanting to explore the Como area and the Great Lake Como.
The host happily gave us some fantastic tips on making the most of our time in Como and was able to direct us to free parking, very close to the ferry port - the gateway to a hop on/off tour of all of the beautiful towns and villages that Lake Como has to offer.
The ferry to places such as Bellagio are an absolute must and Como centre itself is lovely with an unbelievably beautiful church/cathedral
Inside the accommodation the room was absolutely delightful, full of original charm and features, and far removed from the more touristy places on offer. With a partition door completely closing you off from the rest of the villa, we enjoyed absolute privacy with a stunning period room, a well equipped private bathroom and the whole place was spotlessly clean.
The host was on hand if needed and was kind and helpful, but he was totally unobtrusive and did not disturb our privacy in any way.
Another great bonus was the parking right outside the premises at no extra charge offering the perfect security when leaving your vehicle overnight.
We cannot say enough positive things about this beautiful villa and would not hesitate to return
Highly recommended - especially for those travelling by car/motorcycle
The perfect stay !!!!!

If you want the experience of staying in an authentic Italian villa, full of antiques, and the most amazing views at a most reasonable price then this is the place. Having a car would be an advantage, but not essential as there is a gentle sloping walk down to the village of S. Fermi about a mile away. Great way to get your steps in and burn off some holiday calories! Of course arriving and leaving with luggage and no car?? Well, no problem, as the Guido, the host, collected us from the nearest train station, Grandate Breccia and dropped us off again when we were leaving. He was very accommodating with lifts if he was going in the same direction at the same time.
The views are amazing, looking down over the harbour in Como and up to the village of Brunate at the top of the funicular train.
Breakfast was fine, cereal, fruit and coast and cheeses. You could use the kettle and the toaster whenever you wished. We were there in early October, but it was around 21°C for the week with sun trying to burn off the low lying mist but not succeeding. It was very comfortable to move around.
Our bedroom was like an apartment, with a sitting area leading to two large bedrooms and a bathroom. The shower was great.
All in all a lovely stay.
Everything was lovely

the price seemed good until we arrived and saw what we were getting, disappointed is a phrase and a mood. it had a view of the other side of the Lake that was nice, shame that it was noisy with the windows facing the traffic.
The location was a shock to get to along very narrow and poorly lit allay way, at the end its at a weak and very narrow path, Parking is in the Barn area. The building is very old and run down, it is 200 years old and looks it. There was no Breakfast. The checkout time of 1000 was strictly enforced, we were told goodbye many times in a way that made it clear it was long overdue for us to leave. The wiring in the room was ancient, There was electrical shorts in the lamps. the power outlets were from a museum. there is no WIFI at all - and the cell coverage is spotty in the area. seems to drop out. traffic noise from the the expressway just behind the property with continues noise from large trucks passing by. so not able to keep windows open. the bathroom was separate from the bedroom, we had to go out into the hallway. Pictures are not what they seem.

Loved the style of the Villa - beautiful grounds and felt very safe. Although we had decided not to have breakfast, it did look amazing.
The host was SO kind and such a lovely gentleman, made us feel so welcome and ‘at home’. Even kindly took us to the local bus stop to show us directions to walk to the property and recommended places to eat. Simply cannot fault the Villa itself and the host - we definitely would love to come back in the summer to make use of the grounds.
The view from our room was exceptional and one of our favourite parts of the trip.
Much higher up than we anticipated. Stupidly I only took flip flops which made the walk more hard work, perhaps not a walk to make with children or elderly unless fit and able. The walk would not put me off staying here again as it’s so amazing - but next time I shall be more prepared and bring trainers!

Everything was clean and the view was amazing.
plus, the owner was very friendly. We took the train,
and to Villa Corti it is a long walk from the train station,
so he offered to drive us on our way back :)
Without a car it might be a bit more difficult to reach it

Beautifully located mansion with a superb view over Lake Como. Very friendly host, great rooms, delicious breakfast, good coffee. A must see for everyone visiting Como.

beautifully renovated villa- very friendly host - very close to highway,
The closeness to the highway obviously made it a bit loud at night with cars driving throughout the night- windows need to stay close if you are sound sensitive - but our priority was a stopover while traveling to the south so for us this was ok.

Breakfast coffee was not delicious.
