El alojamiento se encuentra muy bien ubicado y rodeado de naturaleza. Lo mejor de todo fue el acogimiento que recibimos de Marina, una mujer encantadora que nos facilitó y nos hizo muy agradable la estancia. Gracias!

Privately owned hostel, great service and staff!
We received a smoking room
1.0
We didn't end up staying there because the the pool was dirty, the room stunk, and the owner was not at the desk, a little girl came out about 9 years old and didn't understand that we wanted to talk to her mother. When the owner showed up, she had a phone to her ear, did not acknowledge us. When she showed us the room, we were very turned off by the smell. Plus, the driveway looked like a dump with metal and garbage. Even though I had paid for the rooms (2), we decided that was not the place for us, it looked like a run-down hostel. I do not recommend this place.

Was clean and good location

Nothing the place should be condemned
Short list of deficiencies:
Crappie electrical
Cracked tiles and walls
Pool I wouldn't let my dog swim in
Furniture..... garbage
Busted toilet handle
And many more......

Silent place, with pool and kitchen. The room was comfortable and the room service was nice.
However, I hoped to have breakfast (for extra payment) but it was not available!

Staff was very helpful and nice. Location is very close to the forest so you can hear animals at night. Room had plenty of space as well.
Room had a few bugs inside but can't blame the place since it's literally next to a forest.
3.0
The bed was comfortable and the AC worked great. The kitchen was big and had enough utensils. Ample parking space.
Honestly, the place looked a little tacky overall. The really narrow staircase to the second floor was far too narrow to bring up the suitcase and it doesn't look very safe either. I think you can probably find better deals in Manuel António.
2.5
The room was spacious. The location was near the bus stop. There were tables outside with microwave, plates and silverware if you wanted to eat outside.
The look of the hotel wasn't very nice. The A/C leaked water but the host did come by to mop it up. The location wasn't near any eateries or markets or beaches.

It has aircondition, wifi was good.
The pool was so dirty.

A basic clean hotel. Good bed, toilet Ac. Good wifi.
Breakfast not included. An aging property with broken tiles, taps. Owner speaks no English.. shared frig and other guests took stuff. Needs a vending machine for drinks.

The location is good, between Quepos & Manuel Antonio (well connected along the main bus route).
The kitchen area/outdoor seating was nice. The kitchen has a stove and microwave, well-equipped on the whole, but no saucepans (only frying pans), no bowls, one knife..
Nice wildlife in the area - monkeys, toucans & scarlet macaws
It's a strange place, we felt like there was something 'off' about it.
The room was cleaned daily, however the cleaning felt like an invasion of privacy, which increased as the days went on! Everything we had in the room was unnecessarily moved. For example, we had two beds, I had clothes unpacked on one bed we were clearly not sleeping in, and everything was moved off.
There was a desk, where we kept our things, everything was moved out of place when we returned.
We had some speciality coffee, bought as presents. We know for certain there were 4 bags of coffee on arrival, yet only 3 when we left. We have explored all the ways that one could have gone missing, but there is no other explanation, it was stolen from our room (I would never write a review if I was not 100% certain). After noticing this, we feel extremely uncomfortable about our stay.
There are also BIG problems with the electrics in the rooms. For example, the air con does not work when the shower is running, the only way to stop the air con from constantly beeping was to turn on the fan (which didn't actually work), and the lights were unpredictable.

Firstly... this is not where booking says it is, but, once we found it we loved the location, right in the jungle down a nice road. Scarlet macaws flying overhead, more wildlife here than Manuel Antonio nature reserve. the outdoor kitchen was great to cook in. Pool was clean, we had no bother with the WiFi, worked well for us, room 7. It’s a quirky building with random terraces dotted about. Rooms are spacious and ac worked well.
There aren’t any restaurants or supermarkets close by, but there are regular buses at the end of the road to either Quepos or Manuel Antonio, so stock up and enjoy the jungle kitchen.

It's a very nice, cosy and colourful place. We loved to use the outdoor kitchen and to sit in the outdoor area watching the aras which are often on the tree next to the hotel. The owner and the cleaning lady are very nice. The rooms are enormous and very family friendly. I can simply just recommend this awesome place.

Calme, grande chambre avec coin salon, piscine, bon équipement de la cuisine commune, Marina est bien serviable
Problème discordance entre Booking de Marina et notre Booking. Booking website has to check this problem. Cuz the owner and Booker's don't have the same price on the booking receipt....

We enjoyed the family room. Lots of space. They offered a kitchen that was pretty well stocked. We didn't have a car, but the property was easy to reach using the bus.
Everything is first impression. The owner didn't speak much English and we both found her to be quite rude and short with us. On top of that, we were charged an extra 10% on top of our "total bill". We asked for an explanation as this had not happened to us before at our other bookings. She simply argued in Spanish...no explanation in English. Not even an attempt!! Basically we pay the extra or move on!!

Pool area is nice - lots of work going on so can only assume it’ll improve over time. the staff were so lovely and took care of us which was great.
I paid for a room with two queens and air con but they said that the room didn’t have aircon and was unavailable - so instead put us in another room with one double and a small single bed which really wasn’t great. The location was alright but you’re looking at a 40 minute walk to the beach and up an extremely steep hill - there is a bus stop just around the corner but last bus is at half 9 at night so if you want to stay out drinking or a late dinner you have no choice but to get a taxi or walk on an unlit road. The staff were great but overall I would recommend staying closer to the main town in Manuel Antonio.
