Great stay for 5 people 🥰

Location location. Location 😀 great apt managers & ready to help if you have issues. Highly recommended in Venice🇮🇹 just bring mosquito repellent.

Mosquitoes because it is near the canal, cement flooring on living room & dining (it makes it more colder)

Wonderful apartment in a beautiful Venice neighborhood.

The apartment is situated in a very nice, quiet neighborhood, away from the crowds. It does not, however, feel sleepy or dull. There are restaurants about 50 meters away, but you are tucked into a quiet spot behind the square. The view from the living room and one of the bedrooms is amazing. There is a nice little balcony that sits over a smaller canal with gondolas and smaller boats going by pretty frequently. The apartment was large, clean, and well-stocked.

There’s nothing not to like about it. One tip is to close the windows in the evening to avoid letting mosquitoes in once it gets dark. We made that mistake the first night and paid for it. By closing the windows the other nights we did not get any more mosquitos.

Very good location close to major landmarks

Very good location close to major landmarks and tourist attractions. Very well equipped kitchen with a heart warming welcome basket. Really nice view to the canal. Responsive host with good communication skils. We had a really nice week in Venice and this apartment and the host played a major part in it, thank you for letting us stay in that property.

Even if we spent a really nice week in this apartment, I still have some constructive criticism, hopefully the owner will be open minded to listen. I appreciated the effort to protect the environment, further step would be towards better energy efficiency if the windows and doors was changed to better insulated ones. The old windows and especially the kitchen door have massive gaps where cold air coming in and wasted energy and heat is going out. This resulted a constant cold feeling even if the thermometer was set to 20 degrees which is appropriate enough. The master bedroom's bed was squeaking badly until I fixed it temporarily with some liquid soap, the bolts however still need tightening.There was no duvets for that room, only a few layers of bed sheets and bed covers.

Wonderful canal view in good location

The view of the canal from the terrace is wonderful. Location of the lodging was central to the attractions. Everything is within a 10-15 mins walk. We had to walk about 10-13 mins after alighting from the Water Vaporetto that costs €9.50 one way. Directions given was good and we did not get lost. The apartment has a big kitchen, a living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an entrance area with good mirrors. The beds were comfortable. There was a huge drying rack that came in handy for our laundry for 5 pax.

Realised that throughout Italy, the heaters are set at 20°C by regulation. Still a tad too cold for us from sunny Singapore.

Excellent location and great size with a really beautiful view historic more traditional apartment

We loved our stay. The communication from the host was excellent. We liked the size of the Apartment, how well equipped it was and how clean it was and the fact it had two bathrooms and a good size washing machine and drying rack (an essential for us with an 8 and 10 year old). The location was excellent, nice and quite but next to a central piazza (Santa Maria Formosa) and really easy to get to the main boat taxi port (St Marco Zacharia) way easier in my view than getting there from Rialto Bridge. The apartment has a canal out of most of the windows and balcony right onto the path the gondolas take, it's a really exceptional view! We recommend a trip to Burano it's worth the long ferry rides (which are especially long on the way back)!

The beds were a bit hard, however we found many of the places we stayed in Europe have harder beds than we are used to in NZ. Having a reminder note or invoice about payment of the tourist tax at the apartment would have been helpful

We enjoyed our stay at this conveniently located apartment. We would recommend this to any other travelers!

The apartment was spacious and well equipped, setting was a very convenient and nice location. The management was very helpful and responsive to our questions.

No complaints overall complaints only callout is the dishwasher has a strong odor. The property was as advertised!

What a beautiful apartment with views over the canal. Very spacious, great for a family or two couples travelling together. Perfect location away from the busy crowds but easy walking to lovely restaurants and sights. Communication from hosts was excellent, would highly recommend!

A wonderful location in a spacious apartment with amazing views and a great host! Would recommend!

My family and I loved staying at Casa Misa Formosa because of it's spaciousness, amazing views, and great location. Marisa is an excellent hostess, leaving us a welcome gift and checking in on us. The a/c and w/d were appreciated and we felt safe and secure staying there.

I hesitate to write anything because our stay was so great. Pick up some coffee at a nearby coop (there are two nearby). There were more steps to the apartment door than I realized but they were wide and my elderly mother was able to handle them.

Very good

We chose this apartment for the view of the canals and location. It's in a great part of Venice and we loved sitting on the balcony watching the gondolas. We also appreciated the welcome pack. Thank you Marisa!

The apartment is definitely quirky with plenty of character. However, the terrazzo flooring in the central lounge needs some love. Whilst beautiful, there is a big crack in it, which is crumbling and makes the floor dusty.

Amazing views, spacious apartment and incredible value!

Family of 5-so much space and 2 bathrooms were wonderful. AMAZING view of canal and great spot to eat our breakfast and watch the gondolas sing down the canal. Location was close to so much-shopping, food and Rialto bridge and water taxis and vaporettos. So much room and clean.

Master bed was a little stiff, but not horrible. The AC units were a gift in the hot July heat and we were happy to have them, but they do make a low noise when resetting which would wake us up. We would just shut them off at bedtime and still stay cool all night to avoid noise interruption.

Lovely apartment – but the beds are horrific.

The location is amazing! An adorable part of Venice – and we even took a gondola ride that went right by the apartment. The apartment is so charming. It’s definitely quirky as it’s old - but it’s lovely.

The beds in the primary bedroom are literally the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in. It kills me to say this because I really liked the place otherwise, but the beds are old and really uncomfortable. You can actually feel the metal coils through the mattress and any cushioning is long gone.

Wonderful apartment overlooking canals

Roomy and clean apartment with fantastic balcony and views. Lovely welcome basket and kitchen with everything you need for cooking. Apartment was well heated(we stayed in January) and homely. Excellent communication with the host, clear instructions for finding the apartment and the keys. Great base for exploring beautiful Venice. We loved our stay!

It was a thoroughly wonderful albeit brief stay. The apartment really added to the experience.

The apartment was very authentic in a historic building, incredibly charming. The views of the canal from the balcony were phenomenal. Also a fantastic host.

The bed in our room wasn’t the most comfortable - too hard - even a mattress topper would be helpful.

It was a very comfortable stay and would recommend this property.

The gift basket was very thoughtful and kind. Directions provided were very clear. Marisa was very helpful. Location of property was very convenient.

Maybe a few basic things like milk and cereal can be provided essentially if guests arrive very late and don’t know the place. It is only for a start. Also would recommend arriving for the first time when there is daylight as laneways are quite dark

Very good location! Very big, it is big enough for 5 adults or even more. Host was very helpful! Two bathrooms/toilets and a washing machine. Kitchen had everything you need and a welcome basket :). Check in was easy you could use a door code to get the keys and get in to the apartment.

The location was excellent. It was within walking distance from the airport ferry and to most of the attractions. The view was absolutely beautiful, overlooking a canal. Maria was very helpful, providing very good instruction on getting to the location and keys and provided helpful hints too.
