freundliches, gut geschultes Personal; Gute Lage; Shuttleboot; Gartenanlage; Sportmöglichkeiten
Ziemlich altmodisch; Reinigung nicht perfekt; sehr teuer, was OK wäre, wenn der Service damit einhergeht

San Marco was booked up, but that was a blessing….we found San Clemente, it’s own island paradise in Venice only a 10 minute boat ride away and out of the chaos. Coming back to beautiful grounds, gardens, pool..& all in an historic building. Even a sculpture garden. It was a complete respite. Food and staff were incredible and the property value for money.
Zero, everything was great.

Very well refurbished.

Fantastic location, beautiful hotel and garden area. Amazing to stay at a hotel, where the shuttle boat was complimentary. We have traveled a lot, and many hotels on islands do not offer the complimentary service.
We had higher expectations for the hotel. The restaurant/bar staff did not seem to be quite informed on anything. We had many experiences with orders that they said was sold old, to find out later that it was not. One day, we waited a whole hour in the Clemente bar, to get served. The same with 2 other couples. After asking for help, we got to make an order, and 30 minutes later, there came another waiter and asked us about our order, because his colleague did not get it in the system. We waited a long a time, and being hungry on an island where there is no other options, is quite bad.
We did not want to sit at the bar anymore, so we asked to get the order to our room.
When we came to our room, our roomcard did not work, again. This happened several times. We had to go down to the reception several times to get it fixed.
We also asked about going to the Murano Island, where we got informed about the complimentary boat to the island, which we were very exited about. We planned it at 2:00pm the day after, and when we came, there was no boat, no reservation or anything. We had to wait almost an hour for the boat. We also did not get informed about the schedule on the Murano island. We thought we would “just” be dropped off, to explore on our own and go for a lunch, but we came to the glass fabric and had to go on the planned excursion. It was a great experience, if we would have been informed. When we were done, we could not get a lunch anywhere, because everything was closed.

Die Kellner sind nicht geeignet für eine Kategorie 5 Sterne!
Zu überheblich und nicht im Hintergrund wie in diesen Häusern üblich.
€ 14,-- für 1/8 Weisswein ????

1)Mr Selim the owner is making sure the hotel is run at the highest standard.
2)The private island of San Clemente provides top tranquility and privacy minutes away from the center.
3)Very nice historical church and beautiful lush gardens surround the hotel.
4)The hotel itself is a palace, amazing floor to ceiling height, spacious rooms and suites.
5)Aquarello restaurant is certainly better than the old Buddha bar.
6)Most importantly very good concierge and staff overall.
Nothing really , everything was top.
Maybe if we want it to be even better , improve room service. In terms of food quality but also speed of delivery. Room service needs to check the in-suite mini bar more often.

Just stay with the very high standards

Beautifully isolated from the mainstream with spacious facilities and pool. You could spend days in the island without even travelling to Venice if you so wished.
The regular courtesy boat provides the link to and Fro across the lagoon to Venice, and to all the sights and sumptuous restaurants.
The concierge team especially Michael are extremely helpful

The location is amazing. The ambience is great. Staff very friendly and cooperative. Beautifully manicured gardens. Loved everything.
1)No choice of food in the restaurant. Being such a huge brand, there should be an option of more food choices. Also they close kitchen at 12. This should change.
2) Need to improve Air Conditioning system. Many rooms had issues with that.
3) prices should be reasonable. A coke for €8 is too steep just as an example.

An incredible location unlike anywhere we've stayed before! Room was huge, breakfast options vast and the Acquarello restaurant setting and food were both incredible. The shuttle taxi boat to Venice was fantastic and reliable, making for very easy trips to Venice to explore. Staff were very polite and welcoming.
Was surprised to see black mould in the shower grouting and in some areas of the pool which I wouldn't expect for a hotel of this calibre. Lunch options were fairly limited and the food was not nearly as good quality as Acquarello for dinner.

Nice garden.
The location was a little distant. The hotel boat was driving, but uncomfortably after 45 minutes. Very noise, as it was all around the bouts were running. Inside city there would be less noise. Breakfast modest.

location is perfect to escape the busy streets of Venice. Beautiful location.
Difficult as it’s such a beautiful place to stay. A few more choices for vegetarians in the restaurant would be nice.

nice location. very privat!
very quiet

Very wonderful staff. Unique situation calm and beautiful but close to San Marco. Beautifully restored recently. No pool area like it in Venice
The rooms in the main block are subject to building and feel confined. High quality furnishings but the windows are small and high. Suites are much better laid out

We prefered this hotel for my husband’s birthday eve.
Everything is perfect. After going any restaurant out, we spent every night at hotel’s bar for drinking, we were really satisfied with staff. They have really a service-friendliness.
Thanks for hosting us in such a good manner! 😊

Nice location , beautiful and relaxing island after crowded Venice. Free shuttle boat to Venice and some complimentary excursions.
Variety of breakfast should be better and coffee definitely not Kempinski level, if I couldn’t get normal cappuccino.
We left early in the morning and restaurant staff forgot to prepare our breakfast box, even, if it was agreed day before.
Dinner in restaurant was good, but very overpriced, drinks as well.
Rooms need some renovation, a lot of broken items.
Water in outdoor swimming pool was cold even they said it’s heated.

From the moment we arrived the staff went out of their way to cater for our every need. The palace is spacious and luxurious and because it's out of the hustle and bustle of Venice town you can truly relax there. I chose this place to propose to my partner on our 10 year anniversary and they managed to set up a truly intimate setting on 'Sunset Hill' with just a few hours notice, we had a private chef and 5 course meal, the food was spectacular and it was honestly the best night of both our lives. The Lady in Red - I forget her name, Luca and Matteu deserve a special mention for making it what it was. 10/10, unforgettable and will definitely come back.
I am nitpicking here but the shower head didn't spray directly down - room 308.
