Very good quality-price ratio. Civico Vesuvio B&B is located at 10-15 min from storic center. The room was clean, comfy and warm, and their staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Alessandra communication was amazing very informative very prompt response to messages.

It was in an excellent location near historical centre. It was clean no noise

The curtains were not blockout the room was very bright in morning. There was a kettle but no cups only tea not coffee.

posizione ottima . vicina alla stazione ,alla metro e a via dei tribunali sotto la struttura c'e una pasticceria, fruttivendolo e alimentari. Palazzo storico molto bello. Il letto era comodo. Host disponibile e gentile.

Buena ubicación y atención

Es súper céntrico y el lugar cómodo. El propietario aunque no nos recibió siempre estuvimos en contacto y estuve siempre muy atento. Antes de irnos tuvimos un inconveniente y rápidamente nos pudo ayudar.

No había leído antes de reservar que se debía pagar 10 centimos para usar el ascensor.

Pessimo

La posizione della struttura è comoda, perché si trova nelle vicinanze della stazione Centrale.

La camera è piccolina, quindi c'era molto caldo. È presente un condizionatore che probabilmente è depotenziato, dato che abbiamo impostato 16° e ne sembravano 25. Per una camera così piccola ci sarebbe voluto poco per farla rinfrescare normalmente. La pulizia è scarsissima, polvere dietro il rubinetto della doccia e peli, il diffusore della doccia pieno di calcare e sporcizia, macchie rosse sotto il copriletto (meglio non sapere cos'erano). L'igiene è alla base di un b&b o un affittacamere, non un servizio in più, quindi a prescindere dal prezzo deve esserci. L'host non l'abbiamo visto, abbiamo dovuto ritirare le chiavi della camera da un minimarket di fronte alla struttura. Non ci aspettavamo chissà che, ma almeno la pulizia.

A comfortable stay, good for a couple of nights

The room was clean and good for a short stay! The host was really responsive, providing great recommendations and was able to help us with transport to the airport at a very early hour so that was really appreciated - particularly when the taxi was late, she was quick to respond regardless of it being very early and that put us at ease as she could communicate with the driver.

Although the area itself is close by to the station and other walkable sights, we did find at times it didn’t feel as safe as other areas within Naples. This didn’t bother us given it was a short stay and travelling together as a couple but I would consider other areas if you are a female alone.

Great for a short stay in Napoli

Great location, close to everything and quiet at night. Very clean and cosy room. Self service check in was easy to follow. We parked at a different carpark than the one they offered due to bad reviews on the carpark, not the b&bs fault, just felt safer going to a better carpark.

Not sure if there was supposed to be breakfast included, but there wasn't any mention of it. Shower was tiny, wouldn't fit a larger person.

Not a good place to stay!

I didn’t even sleep at this place!

Not a good area even is close to the train station, bathroom was outside the bedroom like a hostel and never said that on the description.

Cute room with difficult access in a grungy city

Room was pretty clean and nicely decorated. Location was okay (close to the centre of the city with stations about 500m away; we were able to get picked up for our tour at the hotel next door). Met the host when we checked out and she was lovely, the guy who let us in was also kind though didn’t speak English.

Shower wasn’t draining properly, air conditioner was leaking and toilet ran water most of the time. The accommodation is in a little dodgy square with a little elevator you have to pay 10 cents to use each time or take stairs to 3rd floor. Check in wasn’t easy - had to call and wait for someone to come let us in. Bed was pretty clean but place just seemed a bit run down like it could do with a deep clean.

Amazing host and convenient location.

Host was amazing, she was managing off sight through an agent and when I pointed out the seal in the shower screen had gone, she sent someone the next day to look at it. She was very apologetic and lovely. The host left water in the fridge and some 10€cents for the lift. There was washing up liquid and clothes detergent and the washing machine works well. Freezer is great too. Close to Central Station. Train, metro and bus. Morning View from balcony beautiful.

There's nothing about the accomodation I didn't like. We made some suggestions of a towel hook in bathroom and a somewhere to hang wet clothes ( we got creative with hangers and shutters and handles on the balcony) However host did say if I left it on the table someone would come to take it and dry it. ( I was just a bit precious about other people drying my underwear.) I was a single female traveller with her son and we struggled with the community behaviour and noise a bit here. (external to the property) We didnt venture out at night, just to the amazing pizza place out the door and to the right for a take away. I felt safe, my son was cautious.

This is a great place to stop in Naples! 10 out of 10! Super clean, stylish, quiet. right in the center! But most importantly, a big thanks you to the owners! They allowed to the check-in much later than announced time. Greatly appreciated the humanity and understanding! Very helpful!!! We'll definitely come back here!

Great location in city center close to train station. Clean room.

Room could use some maintenance, but ok overall. Street noise, but nice to be in city center. A little frustrating accessing the property and room. Not the best value, but ok.

Everything we needed for a very pleasant stay

Great location, we self checked in but had very good communication with the hosts about how to do this. Had everything we needed for a great stay.

Worth noting that the place is top floor so a fair few stairs to climb. Although there is a lift to use too if needed.

Brilliant stay and the most welcoming host!

The location of this B&B was very central and within walking distance of many touristy things, food places and transport links. I couldn't have asked for a better host as on arrival she had send us lots of recommendations and kept checking we were happy throughout of our stay. During my time in Italy I unfortunately fell over and broke my shoulder but our host was incredible supportive and helpful. She spoke to the police for us to get an ambulance and stay in contact all night whilst it was happening and once I was home. I couldn't recommend this place or host more if I tried. We were very lucky to have so much help about our trip and help when it was needed.

Affordable & clean place in Centro Storico with 7-10 min. walking distance to central train station

Convenient location- in old town center close to main train station. Host was reachable, informative of house rules, and check in/out process was smooth. Host provided change to use the elevator, which is not free. Room was clean, came with a mini fridge, solid WiFi, and AC running well.

Not sure if it's on the host, but we had to pay 10 cents for every elevator ride, considering that we were on the 3rd floor. Other than that, good value for money.

The key unlocks other rooms meaning other rooms can also unlock your door - not safe, when told this to the agent she got angry and said she’ll call the police in us for breaking into other rooms when we mistook it for our room when arriving. You also get charged if you leave the aircon on when you leave for the day

Disappointing

Location was great. Host was really accommodating, booking us a taxi to the airport in the morning. Fine for one or two nights stay as a layover - although price was probably a little steep.

Photos are really misleading. The majority of the photos are of a modern, well decorated, cosy looking room and was the reason that I booked instead of other options in the same areas. You'd expect each room to be decorated to the same standard. In reality, the room we booked was relatively basic. The bedroom door was made of glass - I can see from other reviews that apparently there is a cover for it. But this was not communicated ahead of our stay. The lock on the door also felt pretty flimsy. There was also a dead fly on the bed. As others have commented, the bathroom is really cramped and the shower head doesn't point towards, only horizontally, so has to be held over your head.
