Great location!
Great refrigerator and ice maker, stove, and nice newer washer and dryer. Great hot water heater, never ran out with 7 guys. Nice deck but needs chairs.
Down side….
1. listing says two beds in first floor bedroom. There is only one and after two days contacted property manager and he said there’s an air mattress in the closet. A little misleading.
2. The dishwasher is new but it wasn’t hooked up, still has packing inside.
3. Dining room table has two chairs that have very minimal back support. One of my friends sat down and leaned back and fell over backwards hitting his head on the floor. Two chairs need repair or replacing.
4. My fault, but the only bbq we could find was Weber mini bbq, inadequate for 7 guys. I contacted manager about it and in the small print of listing it says to contact manager for a larger propane bbq. He brought one over after we had already oven baked the chicken and pan fried the brats.
I’ve used vrbo several times and this property had the most “surprises”.
Now that I’ve been to this cabin once I would be able to cope and deal with these issues. I’d rent it again with a big group. It was good for 7 old fishermen. And like I said, “ A great location!!”

Great. Second time staying!!! Love the location. House great. Only comment was no paper towels, low on dish soap and garbage disposal was difficult. We took it home so all ok. Cupboards could use some attention. All in all good.

Nice cabin. Optimised the space well. Main con is carpet in the bathroom (an update that could go a long way.) Probably won't stay there again because of the cringe of what I imagine is in the bathroom carpet.
Loved that it was close walk to the small town restaurants. The mattresses were comfortable.

Great place for a nice relaxing stay! Close to the NE gate of Yellowstone, nice little community. And go try the Beartooth Cafe!

Everything is as described. Quaint little mountain town with everything you need. Minutes from the park entrance and beautiful Lamar Valley.

We had everything we needed. The Bear’s Den is smaller on the inside than it looks, but it was perfect for us! The views are gorgeous from the cabin and in this tiny town. We were within walking distance (2-3 minute walk to general store) to everything. And it was very convenient to be so close to an entrance to Yellowstone. We loved it and wished we could stay longer. And we’ll be back if possible! Thank you Jessica!! Internet worked great!

It was adequate for our purpose. Very close to the NE entrance to Yellowstone. My only suggestions is a better place to put garbage after it’s full. Leaving it outside attracted some of the community wandering dogs. Also seating for the patio such as fold up chairs would have been nice. The interior is ok but could use some updating. Yet, in our case we were not there much of the time so what is there was sufficient.

House was awesome. Very clean. Loved all the big tv’s. Great location. Walk a block to Main Street. I would definitely stay here again.

This was our second time staying at this cabin. The location is excellent for visiting Yellowstone. It is quiet and peaceful while being within easy walking distance of restaurants and sights in town. In addition to hiking and seeing all the animals in Yellowstone there was a family of baby foxes that the edge of town that we could watch every day. The cabin is not luxurious, but is clean, well equipped and very comfortable.

Really enjoyed the accommodations. Very comfortable cabin. Only downside is it was far away from key attractions in the park for kids. we did, however, see lots of wildlife being near Lamar Valley.

Great time at Cooke City, It wasn't ready when we arrived but hats off to the local crew they went right in and got it cleaned and ready with in a couple of hours. Thank you for refunding our cleaning fee. The trailer parking was great and the fire pit was a huge plus.

Yellowstone-Cooke City
The property was clean and the description of the property was dead on. Very quiet and safe with a short walk to most of the restaurants and stores. Communication with the property manager was good and questions were answered quickly. Property was close to Lamar valley in Yelowstone, which was the reason we rented this house. Would use again. Thanks for the great memories this property allowed us to create.

Perfect starting/ending point for Yellowstone vacation.
Everything about the cabin was great! Although it is not exactly “fancy” - it is very comfortable & equipped. The views are magnificent from every window.
The only complaint that was mentioned throughout the week was that the dryer seemed to be venting inside the house - because it became extremely hot/humid when the dryer was in use.
Other than that - it was great! If ever in need of a place for a family of 8 - this place is it!

We all enjoyed the house, the deck and the view. The kitchen was well equipped and it was a great bonus having a nice washer and dryer. The steps felt spongy and it was a little scary carrying luggage and coolers up and down them. It would be a thoughtful gesture to allow the loading and unloading of luggage, totes or coolers through the back door. It would be much safer as well. Our 80 year old father joined us and he really enjoyed the house as well, (but he felt the steps should be made more stable). Great overall experience .

Suited us Quite Well
We had a group of 11 stay in this house. The views of the mountains from the main windows was amazingy. The drive way was very large and accommodated us to bring in 3 large trucks and trailers with our wheelers and park, unload, and leave with zero issues. This is big for those coming to stay with trucks and trailers where parking can be a bit of a hassle. We had 11 adults sleeping here. Although 4 beds were singles; we were able to make due. Only downside to the property was it only had 1 shower. With this many people 2 would have been nice but there must have been a size able water heater as many could shower without running out. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Property was in a great location and was as advertised. Kitchen, bath and laundry were well stocked. Still a little freaked out by the cameras in the living room. I believe I should be able to expect privacy when renting the entire house and I believe it is illegal to do so. Would rent again especially if the camera issue was resolved.

Great Place, in Awesome Location!
House was huge with tons of beds in each bedroom. Close to all the shops and restaurants. Kitchen was nice with everything we needed to cook family dinners. Nice saving money not eating out every night! Would stay there again!

Great Stay
The beds were comfortable and the bunk beds were sturdy; my kids slept on those but they could definitely handle adults. And the bunks are upstairs with vaulted ceilings, so no one will hit their head. The shower had good water pressure and the hot water was plentiful and immediate. The washer and dryer are large and new. The windows are quality windows to block noises from outside. The Alpine Motel is across the street and it seemed most people left early, but we were able to sleep through any noise they made. While the carpet and kitchen layout is dated, it is still in good condition and clean. The appliances were clean. It had all the dishes, pots, & pans we needed. It does not have waffle irons or a blender, so if you want those bring them. It's so nice to stay in a cabin and not hear neighbors through walls! All restaurants and general stores in town are walking distance. The owners/managers are responsive - we tripped a breaker and they remedied it within a few minutes. There is an old house smell when we arrived, but it dissipated within a day of leaving the windows open. A nest video camera is outside the front and back doors, which makes sense. However, there is also a nest camera positioned to view the dining table (just inside the front door). Maybe they've had problems with dishonest or destructive people in the past, but it made me a little uncomfortable and I kind of wanted to put tape over it. Just make sure you're dressed when you go from the shower (on the main) to upstairs.

Great location near Yellowstone, Beartooth Pass
Comfortable cabin in a strategic location at the northwest corner of Yellowstone Park. Walking distance to Cooke City stores and restaurants, but off the main highway. Cabin was clean and in good working order.

We had a great visit at Bear’s Den. Property is just as described; and it is the quietest place I have ever stayed within a city limits. Beautiful area.

Perfect location!
Everything met our expectations! The shower faucet was loose but we were able to find a tool to tighten it up a bit. Nice to have the option for a cleaning service! Highly recommended!
