exceptional location and building. Like travelling back in time. If you like doors that actually close, airco, indirect lights, plaster walls, best stay away.

Sänky oli hyvä ja sijainti kivasti lähellä keskustaa.

Avain ei ollut boksissa luvatusti kun saavuimme myöhään. Myös toinen asiakas koki saman. Koitimme soittaa ovessa olevaan numeroon ja se ei olut käytössä. Laitoimme viestejä sovelluksen kautta, maililla ja soitimme vielä toiseen numeroon. Lopulta pitsalähetti tuli antamaan avaimen.

Great location, but hotel needs to spend money on the room

The location and the staff

The room wasn’t clean. There was mould in the shower and dust in the corners of the room. The curtains were falling off. The flooring a tear, and there was dirt coming through. The walls needed painting.

Good location, kind staff but run down and not very clean.

Breakfast was okey considered the price. Beds were okey.

It wasn’t clean. There was a chewing gum on the bedside table and lots of killed mosquitos on the walls. Bathroom was old.

ok for a short stay if you don't expect too much

it's location , it was quiet and the bed was comfortable . The staff were helpful and polite . It was a good price - if it had not been for this I would have been very disappointed but we were only there for one night so ........................!!!!

The room and communal space was very basic - student level I would say . Terrible electrics , poor decoration and tired furniture and carpets . The bathroom was ok - utilitarian but the extractor fan did not work - not great when sharing in such close proximity . I was told on Booking.com that it had free parking but this was completely untrue !!!

mold, mold everywere...

the location the look on the inside the breakfast

there was literally a lot of mold on the walls, room was dirty, and worn down. the bed was very old and worn down too. we didn't trust it for our own safety and stayed at an other hotel. the rooms were a shame. the staff was friendly and all, but clearly had no say in this establisment. they were not surprissed of the tons of mold that were in the room.

Close to city center, yet quiet.

The B&B is close to the city center, yet quiet. The breakfast was great and staff are very friendly. The shower was really good.

We got full refund.

The smell of the room was so terrible and I was really about to throw up. They said that it is common in Ghent and the reason is city itself. But the smell was really not acceptable. I’d pay them If they can stay at there first. We couldn’t stay at this property and had to book an other one.

Quaint hotel in a great location.

The location was fantastic, clean and comfortable bed, the hotel was in a quiet neighbourhood, close to the historical centre of town.The reception was friendly and helpful giving us maps and information about the area.

The room was tired and needed updating. The bathroom concertina door could not be comletely closed and there was mould in the shower recess and the floor behind the door could do with a better clean. It would have been a bonus to have had tea and coffee making facilities in the room.Quaint hotel in a great

Great view and location. Could improve comfort and cleanliness.

The location was excellent: it was easy to reach the center of the town. We also got a terrific view from the window.

I didn't like the cleanliness of the hotel. Even though the bathroom was shared, it could be cleaner. In addition, the hotel doesn't have a lift - so bear in mind if you are having heavy suitcases.

Overpriced and bad stay

Only the location of the hotel is fine as it is near to tourist attractions.

1. The hotel is overpriced. 2. It's not clean. 3. Rooms are very small 4. No lift 5. The beds were of very bad quality, they attached 2 single beds to make it a double bed. When you sleep the mattress moves. 5. Bad smell in the room all the time. 6. Only 1 power socket in the whole room 7. The floor was broken and was making a lot of noise while walking. 8. Very old furniture, the hotel gives a feeling of old house. 9. Not near at all. 10. The lighting of the room is also pathetic. 11. Broken wash basin in bathroom. 12. No view from the room given to us.

Good location, good value for money.

The fan in the bathroom is activated on motion and stays on for 5 minutes and is quite loud so chances are you will wake up the person you share the room with if you go to the bathroom at night or early in the morning.
