Aamiainen oli monipuolinen.
Sijainti hotellilla keskeinen.
Sauna Kilpisjärven rannalla oli plussa.
Huoneet olivat hyvin vaatimattomat.

The staff were absolutely fantastic - very friendly and extremely helpful! Value for money was rather low as the price was expensive and the room and facilities were just 'OK'. The breakfast was also outstanding. Lastly, the ranta sauna was very pleasant. The location was very convenient and the views were stunning.
The general facilities were rather ugly compared to other Lapland Hotels that I have stayed in. Everything is very old and outdated. Extensive renovations are needed. Having a one-time payment of 20 euros for electric car charging is very expensive - about three times more than anywhere else. It should be possible to change to an energy-based payment rather easily. The bathroom floor heater was set to a very high temperature that could not be adjusted.

Breakfast is nice with lots of options and fresh waffles. Dog friendly. Floor heating in bathroom. Key location for lots of activities. Friendly customer service.
Tiny room.
Some issues with cleanliness. Found hairs under bed linens (before we slept in them). Restaurant could use some cleaning around the windows, there was lots of dust.
Restaurant was experiencing some problems, main course was over an hour late for us and nearby tables.

Loved the reindeers around hotel.

We booked for two nights, to be able to make a full day hike to Treriksröset, where the borders of Finland, Sweden and Norway meet. Really good breakfast with many alternatives. Breathtaking mountain surroundings. Lots of reindeers around.
We booked a budget alternative with our room in a hostel annex building. Bathroom not en suite and breakfast in the main building.

I like the cleanliness, staff attitude, included breakfast and the lakeside sauna. The hotel was also like a mini museum for Sami culture/tradition.
The worst part of staying here was the absence of wifi connection in the room. Wifi was available in the main building. I failed to understand why the wifi availability could not be extended to the guest rooms, which should be a simple and not costly matter by the hotel management.

Breakfast and sauna by the lake were excellent as well as the restaurant. Plenty of space for parking. Excellent location.
The smell in the room. We needed to keep the windows open through out or stay.

Loved the view of Saana from our window, the sauna by the lake, the big breakfast in the morning. Location was great. Very dog friendly hotel.
I don't think our room had black-out curtains? Those are important in the summer.

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, great location by the lake, good beds.
We stayed in a cabin/apartment for 5 people and the facilities are a bit worn-out, especially the bathroom is old. It would be a nice addition to get some brewed (herbal) tea for breakfast.

Location could not have been better.
There wasn’t anything that I disliked.

Sauna by the lake was excellent after days of skitrekking and we enjoyed the breakfast.

Great breakfast but one of the biggest surprise was the quality of the dinner - it was exquisite! The colours of the arctic sunset behind the large windows, perfectly matching Lapland inspired music in the background at the dinner created a perfect atmosphere. The location could not be better for skiing right from the front door and snowshoeing on nearby hills and the Saana. Aurora watching few steps from the hotel!
The facilities are a little dated, but that only adds to the authenticity of the place.

Warm welcome, simple but clean room

Nice clean, warm room, comfy beds. Bathroom was shared, but close-by. Breakfast was amazing!

Room was comfy and customer service was great. The breakfast and the a la carte menu in the restaurant were excellent.
Noise from the corridor caem through the door pretty clearly.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Washing machine and drying room was nice for oir outdoor activity holiday! Hotel restaurant is also good :)
Hotel is very outdated and would need more maintanance. I find this was not the best value for money option as I find the price for staying to be too high for quality of this hotel.

Full marks to staff, very friendly and helpful. But the biggest plus for this hotel is their restaurant, I'd go as far as saying best in Kilpisjärvi. Great breakfast with various options.
Hostel rooms are not in great shape anymore, and price (entire Kilpisjärvi fully booked at the time and I booked late) was waaay too high given the modest rooms.

The food at the restaurant was good and the sauna by the lake lovely.
We stayed in the main building and the apartment was very worn down and fairly dirty. The ventilation, which was on until mid-night was exceptionally loud. It felt like being in the engine room of a ship and we stayed in the hotel lobby until it was switched off, impossible to be in the room before. We paid $235 per night and for this price we just expected much more, the value for money was not good.

Under the Saana mountain with beautiful views of mountain and lake.
Hotel a bit warm from outside but perfectly ok inside.

Perfect location, included sauna in front of the lake.
Good breakfast. Good restaurant.
Outdated and very small room, not the best value for money.
