Location was good.

Bedroom was a shambles damaged window which made room cold the entire night,not to mention the noise-mud all over the floor and food/drink bottle from precious people. Check in and out was a shambles with language barrier.

Would not stay again due to the breakfast debacle

When I checked in the staff member told me breakfast was included , I questioned her on this twice and she told myself and my guest that breakfast was included. I asked if it was the buffet and she said yes. I said ok I didn’t think it was but that’s great. On checkout I got charged $79 for two breakfast- we only had toast and we only went down because we thought it was included .and when I explained what happened the girl shrugged her shoulders and said sorry you have to pay it.

Disappointing, I don't think I would stay here again.

The room was a good size for a family, and the location was great to get around the city.

First off the lack of communication, I sent an email two days before arriving and no one replied, when I mentioned it at check-in I received an oh sorry nothing I can do about that. When we checked into the room, there was no soap of any kind, when I ordered room services and requested a steak sandwich cooked well done, I received the sandwich in a hamburger bun and the meat was medium so I couldn't eat it. Both days we had breakfast the food was cold and the bacon was undercooked the first morning and so cooked the next you couldn't bite it. This was extremely disappointing as the family was excited about having breakfast. I paid for valet parking when I called to ask for my car to be bought around in ten minutes I was told I would have to wait in a curt tone I would have to wait 20-30 minutes and then hung up on. Considering I paid $55 per night for the parking I feel this was not good service.

Easy to get my airport bus

They offer a $10 a day food or drink voucher if you don’t get your room Cleaned. But I never got the credit/voucher for the 2 days I didn’t have cleaning. I messaged about it and this issue wasn’t resolved. I think it’s just a scam. Also The staff took a while a while to Acknowledge me at check in.

SPECTACULAR!!.

Everything, especially the view. It was spectacular. The price is amazing too. Will be coming back very soon!

Perfect location for a business trip in the City.

I had a very early breakfast meeting at Rydges so came up from Hamilton the night before. I was very impressed by the staff in that they were helpful, friendly and efficient. My room was very comfortable and perfect for my one night stay. The bed and pillows were comfy. There was no street noise and I got a great night's sleep. The food for breakfast and lunch was superb and the front of house staff helped me with my car and bag. Much appreciated.

Perfectly fine

Not cheap, but that’s the cost of convenience in being able to walk out the door at stupid-o’clock and only take a short walk to the terminal for an early flight. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good standard buffet style, room was clean, well appointed and the sound proofing was perfect.

A good room with a reasonable price compared to other properties searched.

Room was very good, very comfortable and clean.

There was a wedding reception on the same floor as our room and they were very noisy through until midnight which was annoying. Annoying that the reception do not respond to any direct messages to the property over the weekend (unrelated to the noise).

Comfortable big bed, great aircon and decent sized room.

They have valet parking (didnt use) but was a nightmare to park our big ute in secure car park across road.

Absolutly wonderful Hotel with friendly and helpful staff, even throughout the conferences.

Easy and convenient location to where I needed to be during the day and our evenings out and about. Staff were so lovely and easy to deal with. Porta cot was no problem and appeared set up in our room.

Nothing not to like. It was all a breeze to stay with you.

Passable

The location was good and the staff were friendly. I liked that there were make up remover wipes in the bathroom and plenty of towels.

For the price, the room facilities were not were they could be. Slippers, coffee maker (plunger or machine), bathroom supplies (although nice to see make-up remover!). The lighting in my room wasn't sufficient. The elevator broke down when I was in a rush. There was no way to get to the lobby via stairs. The window in my room didn't shut properly, meaning I could hear everything on the street.

Good hotel in the heart of Auckland

Tidy, comfortable and quiet room. Helpful front desk team. Amazing friendly restaurant manager for breakfast.

This always puzzles me: why do hotels put the bathroom tap so low down that you cannot put water into the kettle they provide, or into the iron? Do Rydges management not stay in their own accommodation as a test?

Really nice facility,

Lovely facility, love the app's key feature, made the trip a lot nicer knowing I didn't have to worry about where the room key was.

The elevator was incredibly slow. One was down for maintenance but still had to wait around 5 to 7 minutes for any of the other lifts to arrive both on our floor and on ground floor.

It was okay - very comfy bed & pillows

Fantastic bed & pillows - very comfortable. Shower was good, good pressure plenty of towels etc Amazing to see the Sky Tower so close up. Plenty of tea & coffee - even hot chocolate. Toilet awkward to get in and sit down. toilet should be facing in - not close up against the wall- very awkward for tall people. Reminded me of an airplane toilet. Requested view over the water - if head pressed against glass window could just see a small patch of water, but had been told it would be a room with a view looking out over the water.

The parking situation was awful. Our car was smashed in and attempted to be stolen. The car park barriers are cut in half and up through the night. Not secure at all

I had a lovely stay at the Rydges. I would definitely go back and will also recommend to others.

I liked how lovely and clean the room was. The staff were amazing and the bed was insanely comfortable. The view from the 10th floor was also really good.

The little fridge was super loud (but not really an issue)
