Cheap and Cheerful!

Many years ago this was a decent hotel but now is passed its best, but is cheap and cheerful.

The property is dated and tired. The room was very small with a small double bed.

If happily stay here againhere again

Handy being close to motorway but couldn’t hear traffic The services in the restaurant was great,staff were lovely and very helpful. The food was also excellent

There are a lot of steps, I’m not disabled but I imagine that access would be tricky and very long winded for a disabled customer

The room was very tidy and clean. Bed was very comfortable, and the room nice and warm. The food was excellent, loads of breakfast, coffee good and the evening meals good also. excellent location and staff were so friendly

convenient location just off the M1 and a comfortable night's sleep

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I had a good and quite night's sleep.

Was allocated a disabled room (I booked last minute) and the bathroom smelt of damp. I was late arriving and departing early after breakfast so I didn't worry about asking if I could be changed to another room as it didn't matter for one night. On the bright side it did mean that it was not very far to bring my bags from the car park to the room

Enjoyed our stay

Friendly staff. Very helpful. We had an upgrade to a king-size bed which was good. Breakfast is great.

Husband liked the bigger bed but not the fact there was no bedside table on that side.

Excellent value for money and very friendly staff

easy access to surrounding area and next to motorway. Staff very helpful and friendly, very clean and great lounge area near bar. Everything you could want for breakfast and well staffed. normal sized hairdryer.

Booking.com took my booking for a family room, 2 adults, 1 child in a family room and changed it to a double room for two

The room was quite small for the price I paid. The pillows were hard and uncomfortable.

Decent place to stay

Location was good for me. Room clean and bed comfortable. Warm night so A/C was appreciated. Breakfast was the standard stuff but good selection.

Shower was pretty low pressure.

The room was lovely . Clean big and lovely bath . The staff are so lovely whenever I go and so helpful . Breakfast in my room was lovely .

Very enjoyable and very good access to area as just off M1

Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice for Full English or Continental. Friendly staff every morning with a smile...just what you need when on holiday

There was only one complaint. Someone opened fire doors down corridor, hence when opened continued to bang.....

The hotel is comfortable & very conveniently situated for our homeward journey on the M1.

Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was plentiful and with a good selection (including vegetarian sausages, which we requested at short notice).

We asked for twin beds when we booked but our room only had a double. Wi-Fi connection was problematic and the evening menu needs some more lower calorie options.

Basic hotel really. I made mistake while entering the car plate of my car; a week later I received the fine; then I contacted the recepcion and they helped me to clear the fine.
