The resort is amazing, peaceful and quiet.
The bungalows are very spacious and comfortable, with a great view from the patio (beachfront).
The service is *excellent* and everybody from the staff was kind and friendly.
As a bonus, there are small animals roaming the property (including elephant shrews & suni antelopes)!
The property has a very nice view of the sea/beach, but the water is actually not swimmable most of the time.

I loved everything about Kasha Boutique. The staff were so polite, helpful & friendly at all times. I have never experienced a hotel where the staff has made you feel like they are so grateful for your stay so it was extremely warming to experience this at Kasha. They are exceptional at providing an unforgettable experience. The views were also breath-taking!

The staff are amazing, always happy and will go above and beyond to help you. The hotel is fantastic, beautiful surroundings. Junior suite with sea view was exceptional. The food is extremely fresh and tasty. The breakfast is amazing, a lovely plate of fruit, followed by tasty homemade granola and strawberry yoghurt, followed by eggs/sausage/bacon/beans, followed by a lovely Nutella crepe. Accompanied with fresh juice and lovely homemade cookies, jam on toast. Everything homemade and tasty and overlooking the sea and pool. Cannot recommend this place more.
Everything was fantastic. As our room was far our; the Wi-Fi did not always work However the manager was amazing and sorted it out for us no problem.

Calm and beautiful location, with lots of privacy, very good service, and comfortable. Very close to diving/snorkelling sites.
As it doesn’t have its own beach, getting into the sea (via a stairs) at high tide can be difficult and dangerous when the sea is rough. The price/quality of the restaurants can be improved.

Nice private and good for a quiet get away, everything you need was available in the hotel, tours, small store, spa, pool, restaurant and the staff was very friendly and trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible!
For my liking there were little vegetables with the food but when I asked for some extra with breakfast we always got a whole plate full!
Also it’s a great place to watch the sunset if you’re an early riser 😊
If you want to go around by yourself to explore options are limited cause of the location is a bit far from town (circa half an hour) with especially in the evening not a great road to walk on.

The room was very nice and spacious with a private plunge pool and gorgeous views of the Indian Ocean and the greenery. Small antelopes "digi digi" can be spotted on the terrace sometimes which was very cool! The restaurant offered very delicious meals from an a la carte menu and the staff were super nice and friendly. Special thanks to Aisha and Elhaki who were exceptionally helpful and provided excellent customer service! Would highly recommend for a romantic getaway or just to relax. Make sure to get out and explore the other towns along the East Coast which is fun too.
The rocky road off the main road leading to the resort was a little inconvenient at first (I had a motorbike) but then we got used to it and it was okay :D having said that, there were road works taking place during our stay to improve the road.

Kasha Boutique was a beautiful boutique hotel and exceeded expectations from the get go. The views are stunning and the hotel is across the famous Mnemba Island where the beach alongside the hotel has periods of low tide where you can go far deep into the sea on feet. The views from the hotel pool bar are magnificent, and the double room sea view we booked was also amazing. The room was spacious, modern yet authentic and had a brilliant balcony view.
Above all, the service and the hospitality of this hotel was the most outstanding aspect. Never have I met such kind and joyous people. Namely, the manager, Rashid, who was constantly checking up on us to ensure everything was good, Hamida, the waitress who served us through all meals and always with a top service, and Haji Mateo Juma, our lovely security officer who was providing us peace of mind through night and day. All the staff were amazing, and it is a hotel I would highly recommend and will be sure to return to in the future.

We stayed here in May (out of season) what was really nice because no tourists:-) small houses has everything what you need with really nice design. we can definitely recommend tuna tartare, chicken masala and breakfast - pizza need to be improve but general in Zanzibar.

lovely Decor and staff were amazing- music in the lobby was Afrobeats and I loved it. I would recommend the dolphin watching trip- ask for Shaka the hotel driver- he was great.
location- dead in the middle of nowhere, could get Uber or any other taxi- hotel had their own car service but it’s just the one which was quiet pricey to take us anywhere but that’s the only choice; the driver Shaka was great in organising activities.
food was OK-ish and pricey!

Staff was great. No one was hunting for your money. Friendly Aisha. And good dinner
Breakfest outside, near a pool. Hard to eat, there are lots of bees and not se attractive.

The room, the staff and the overall comfort of the hotels was top class.
We especially liked the view from the room and pool area and the staffs work to make us feel comfortable.
Overall a nice experience
We stayed for 11 days at the hotel and the food was just not very good, especially dinner.
it is very hard and expensive to go to other restaurants in the area, Taxi is expensive and walking on the non lighted dirt roads are not very comfortable.
You would expect the hotel to make more of an effort to offer better food under these circumstances.

The place was beautiful, the private and public pool were great, the room was really big
We had a problem with the bath that was fixed quickly
There was a bad smell in the room
we didn't have enough hot water to fill up the bath, which was disappointing
there isn't really a good approach to the beach

Lovely hotel with nice ambience, generous rooms with nice decor and personal veranda with plunge pool. Common pool has an amazing view of the sea and we enjoyed breakfast near the poolside. Staff was friendly and helpful.
As coffee lovers we would have loved good brewed coffee. No access to the beach during high tide. Breakfast menu felt a little limited after a few days - more local options would have been appreciated.
