Comfortable and convenient place to stop

We stayed in one of the new ensuite rooms and were very comfortable. Great evening meals at the hotel. Very helpful staff.
The camping facilities were basic and okay if you were self contained.

It was convenient, and it was reasonably comfortable. Quiet pricey but ok
Food wasn't great at the hotel.

Room we booked on the internet was nothing like what we were given. Booked a self contained unit style room (as depicted on the website) and ended up in an old mining Donga with no TV, no bathroom, nothing but a bed.
There may have been something in the fine print but the unit shown with the price was not what we got.

We stayed in the self-contained two bedroom cabin - very comfortable, about 200m from any other buildings, so private but close enough to the hotel for supper. A special way to end a days driving, and a great accompaniment to a flight over Lake Eyre. Very memorable for all the right reasons.

It was clean and the bed was comfortable and the ensuite facilities were excellent.
Nothing.

Amazing sunrise, good food and friendly staff.
The facilities are extremely tired and in need of some maintenance badly. If you're camping in your own accommodation it's great.

Room was good
Hotel across road where you checked in was tired and dirty looking. Staff member serving us didn't always understand what we wanted when ordering. Didn't give us any information about where to find pur room. We had to ask how the meal system worked took us a while to sort that. Too be fair it was also bad timing for us because they had their big annual fly in so they were packed busy and catering for a lot of people so meal choices were limited. We left a day earlier than planned no refund was offered.

The staff were amazing and considering the location the accomodation was ok. It was clean and comfortable.
Look there were minor wear and tear issues around the units but you are staying in one of the most remote places in Aus so really it was ok.

All the staff from Trevor down to the most junior were extremely helpful and friendly.
Probably only the flys

Good food, lovely atmosphere, great wood fire going and well organised table setting in a busy time!
Very poor Telstra connection ☹️

For the middle of the outback it was lovely, great veranda, nice and private, well finished and had a washing machine

Goat curry for dinner was fantastic. A little bit of vegetables would've made it absolutely perfect. Good place to get a light plane over lake Eyre.
Nothing

the room is tiny, and there is not even a chair to put your things on, or a shell. I think just couple of hooks on the wall. The window glass was craced and very roughly repaired with some kind of glue
