We had to exciting days

Accomodation of the lodge was perfect. We had a spacy and very comfortable guesthouse. The location is offside the main route. We enjoyed this and had a gorgous gamedrive and river tour.

We felt service was not value the money. Staff at the river deck, pool area, bar, was talking a lot but not proactive offering drinks, we had to ask. Welcome at arriving was also more neutral and explanatory then heartfelt. As we spent also time at Gondwana Namib Desert Lodge during our tour we can compare and have to admit that service there was much more better and e.g. dinner there was presented much more delightful.

Veel troeven maar niet voor dit geld.

Ruime kamers en een mooi uitzicht vanuit je kamer / restaurant op de omgeving.

Kamers zijn aan vernieuwing toe. Personeel toont geen passie, het is echt ‘werk’ voor hun. Het eten is matig en krijg je in buffetvorm. Prijs / kwaliteit ondermaats.

Great to relax and for safari

Amazing location in the middle of the National park. Great view from most lodge houses into the wildness. Safari trip offered by hotel is a must - you see so many animals

An excellent hotel

An excellent hotel with polite and helpful staff. Especially I want to mention Rector who was an excellent driver. We had three game drives with him and were the best we had so far. We saw wild dogs in action which is rare, a leopard etc. I want to thank him for everything. The room was big and very clean as was all the premises of the hotel. Both breakfast and dinner very fresh, good and tasty. There was parking in the premises. The swimming pool was very good.

The only problem was the internet connection but this is a problem all over the country so it really does not matter.

The breakfast was amazing!! Room was lovely and comfy. The view was just breathtaking!

The shower was disappointing, and was just very expensive, prices was not justified, and the wifi is limited to 1GB per person.

Very pleasant stay

We had Camping2Go and the tents were very well equipped. The lodge is situated in a stunning location on the Kwando river. We had the game drive of our life at Namushasha. At night you hear hippos and other animals next to your tent.

Not enough hot water, water went cold after a few seconds and it wasn't resolved during our stay Buffet dinner was good but overpriced

I understand technical problems can happen, but can not accept no backup for power was available.

Great location, tours, food and service are usually great, but unfortunately due to the lack of electricity the food offer was limited at this time.

We have been told that the local power provider is down and the staff is trying to solve the problem until the next morning. Unfortunately there was no water running in the evening and morning in the room and therefore no shower. No compensation has been offered so far for this which I expect of that standard of accommodation and price.

Superb

Nice lodge at river Kwando. Large bungalows with balcony to the river. Especially the boat cruise on the river is worth while, we saw lots of buffalos and rhinos.

Very good

The view is great waking up with the birds singing and sounds of the resident hippo. The curio shop is well stocked with a variety of gifts. The staff are helpful and friendly.

The food wasn’t as good as always but we do understand with Covid it is more challenging.
