Property is very well designed, fits so much into a small space! Everything was clean and easy to use. Location was well sign posted and only a short drive from nearby villages and New Forest attractions.

Beautifully decorated, lovely owners and location. Would definitely stay again.

It’s location, peaceful, private and in calm surroundings.
Well equipped and ideal couple accommodation
4.7
The cleanliness, the practicality and over all location.

Requested two cottages next to each other which worked very well for our short stay. Lovely hosts who rang me the morning of checking in to ensure I had everything that I needed. Lovely family weekend away :)
4.7
Lovely setting, kids loved the garden with fire pit, some nice finishing touches
Arrived later than expected, door code didn’t work throughout the whole time we was there, felt the cottage was a little tired and needed redecorating in places, bathroom shower got everywhere soaked as water from shower head sprayed over the top of shower screen and a little dangerous with small kids running around, also arrived and had to make up the sofa bed ourselves but also no quilt or pillows so it was 4 in a bed the first night, not much on site and need car to go out

The room and surrounding areas was so nice and the peace and quiet was just what we needed

Well presented, clean and modern property for a family of 4. Everything we needed was there which made it a very enjoyable stay (4nights).
Hosts were great communicators, but not too intrusive. A lovely xmas farm stay was had.
Nothing negative to say.

Beautiful decor and everything thought out well!! very comfortable and cozy loved having the log burner 👌🏼
4.7
Comfortable cottage ( Cowmans) but couldn’t see how to put up heating temperature in the evenings, so was cold in the evenings and early mornings.
Outside light didn’t work, so unpacking the car was not very easy
Would have like some tea towels and smaller sized mugs in the kitchen.
4.7
The hosts are very accommodating. I didn’t have great mobile reception on the move. The hosts made extra effort to keep in touch via texts
4.7
Bathroom spotless although small. Sofa and armchair very comfy. All kitchen facilities good
Beds for 4 but very small for the price. The centralised electronic heating and lighting system was a bit complicated
4.7
Lovely private space with great views of local wildlife in the garden
mattress to hard and due to an old building the bed wasn’t level but these are minors. Rotten treehouse needs taking down or fixing.

gorgeous little cottages

We stayed at Orchard Cottage the cottage was gorgeous, great space downstairs, garden enclosed and again a lovely size.
A lovely welcome tray provided and the flapjack was very tasty.
We had a small issue with the kettle and bathroom sink but this was very quickly and efficiently sorted out for us. Cottage was very clean. I’ve seen mentioned in a few reviews the lack of a toaster our cottage had one and also a microwave.
We found the cottage to be fairly close to the main attractions we wanted to visit which was great.
Be aware the roads around the farm aren’t suitable for pedestrians. Note if your wanting a pub or restaurant in the evening you will need to take the car or hire a taxi. In the welcome booklet it did say feel free to wander the farm but don’t go through the gates or in the livery areas which was fine however on the first evening we went for a little walk but it was difficult to know which way to go as there was no obviously route. We didn’t want to venture anywhere we weren’t allowed. We very quickly decided to return to the cottage.
Don’t forget to take washing up liquid.
One thing to note the bathroom is downstairs you have to cross the lounge and hallway.
The fence behind the parking bay for orchard cottage really needs repairing or moving as damaged and falling forward.

Clean & tidy.
Heating/cooling system, complicated & slow to change ambient temperature.

Perfect location for exploring new forest, nice to have lovely pub within walking distance too. The Dormouse was cosy and cute! We liked the rustic decor. Homemade flapjacks on arrival were delicious. Thank you for a lovely weekend!
There were a few large marks on the walls, could have done with a dust in places. The outdoor furniture could have done with a bit of TLC too! Maybe a basket with some outdoor throws would have been nice.

Wonderful location in the heart of the New Forest.
We loved the cottage and the family friendly garden.
