Didn’t have breakfast but the location is as very good.
Furniture in the bedroom was a little dated and the outside of the building was a bit shabby.

The staff are very helpful
Needs some renovation

Location was great, less busier than the main beaches. Breakfast was very good.
Family room was perfect for family of 4.
Not a major issue but sand on the bathroom floor on arrival. Understandable being on the beach but more effort to clean it.
3.8
Room was clean and secure
The location wasn't the best for my purposes and it was a bit basic for the price tag
3.8
Close to seafront,free parking,clean rooms,
Excellent breakfast served by friendly, helpful staff.
Needs updating, expensive

Great location, very clean, beds were quite comfy and shower was pretty good
Because it’s above a pub, we were kept awake both nights by people standing outside after closing time. They stayed there for ages and were very loud. Maybe the pub can do more to usher them home. You could also hear the lift noise in our adjoining room which was annoying for the person sleeping in there

The staff were lovely. Full marks to them. Breakfast was good: help yourself to cereals/pastries/fruit/toast, then they would take your order for a hot breakfast (veggies and vegans catered for as well). Coffee was sachets of Kenco. If you wanted a 'proper' coffee, that was extra. Plenty of coffee houses on Southbourne shopping street to compensate though.
The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Softer than we're used to but no backache in the morning.
The view (from room 3 on the 1st floor) was lovely. Right over the clifftop and the sea. You can watch the dog walkers and joggers all day.
The wi-fi is Sky's bog-standard 'The Cloud' which IS free, but unsecured and not particularly strong. The Commodore really need to invest in a proper dedicated wi-fi accessible from each room. I wouldn't mind paying extra for it.
The ensuite toilet was VERY cramped. We had to sit at a 45º angle on it because of it's position to the bathroom door. Having said that, the shower over the bath was excellent. Strong spray and easy to use. Free shower gel from a dispenser.

Nice view, comfy bed, clean
Some areas good do with a fresh paint.
Breakfast was fair, lack of ensuring it was all brought out together.
Had to ask for tea/coffee and if we could actually order the breakfast.

staff are great meals in the bar also good as is the location.
found getting a wifi conection hard no information in room one of the cups in the room was dirty on arrival had to clean it myself before use.asked for a fan for the room twice before arrival and no fan was provided.no car parking available on our stay.

Cooked & continental breakfast good, but stayed in February & thought the rooms expensive. Happy to let rooms go unoccupied instead of lowering price. Would had stayed an extra night but for the cost. There is a lot of accomadation in area of Bournmouth at similar price.
As I have said cost of room expensive for time of year. No special deals to encourage anyone to stay longer.

The location
The food.
The staff
A little too hot

Welcoming team upon arrival, views from both windows were superb and the bar was comfortable.
Room had clearly been wedged into a space that it probably shouldn't have been. Bathroom had half a window that wouldn't open due to the hastily installed dividing wall and was about 2 feet wide, hand basin was in the bedroom itself, which wasn't particularly convenient

Enjoyed the sea view from the room, and easy access to cliff top walks, and the sea front. Plenty of hot water and a decent shower, and a good cooked breakfast. Parking in the car park was not possible but it was not a problem to park in a nearby side road.
The hotel has a tired feeling, needing redecoration and refurbishment. The stairs and hallway carpet appeared very dirty. The checking in and out process did not make you feel like a valued customer. (We were not shown to our room, and had to wait at the bar while people were served drinks before we could get our key). We had to ask for soap, shower gel, and toilet roll for the room. The extractor fan for the bathroom was very noisy. Filter coffee with breakfast was possible, but had to be paid for as an extra.

Great smiling staff, and customer service, wonderful location, clean and comfy bed
Building needs an update, carpets need cleaning, floors are very noisy, and plz someone put a note on how to use the shower in room 1!!! And turn down the water pressure a bit, cuz the whole bathroom gets soaking wet while taking a shower

Staff reasonably friendly and bed sheets clean.Basically you get what you paid for - not expensive.Great access for beach.
Bin in bedroom had not been emptied from prior residents.Hotel scruffy and in urgent need of facelift.Lights far too dim.
