About this house rental

Relax in our beautifully decorated large, open floor plan, Island - style home that is all on one level. Located two and half miles from the public beach and pier area and one mile from Sea Island Resort /The Cloister, this house in a perfect location. The house can comfortably accommodate parties of up to nine people. The house has five bedrooms and three full baths and is always immaculately clean. The master has a king bed, the second bedroom has a king bed with a Ghost Hybrid brand mattress, the third and fourth bedrooms have queens and the fifth has a full bed. All have very high end mattresses and linens and all have HD TV's, except the full bedroom does not have a TV. The master and two other bedrooms have 4k smart TV's and the living room is a smart 50 inch 4k UHD TV. Watch your favorite shows and movies on your Netflicks with no delays. There are no steps to climb at this house as you walk right out to the covered front porch to enjoy the daybed swing or the other chairs. There is an outdoor shower available to wash off from a day at the beach. This home is very spacious and has an open floor plan at 2,500 square feet. There are two barn doors, plenty of shiplap, cathedral ceilings, stained ceiling beams, hardwood and tile floors to provide a high end, luxury stay and to soothe the soul. The kitchen is very large and is fully stocked to prepare any meal and has a three chair bar. The house also comes with a pack n play, baby roll around walker and a high chair to accommodate babies. There is parking for four cars. If you bring five cars you will have to park one across the street at Certified burger or Harris Teeter. Shoot hoops on the adjustable height basket ball goal. Located on a private, quiet, dead end street with a duck/ fish/ turtle pond at the end, across the street is a nice grocery store, Harris Teeter, many great restaurants, the Island Cinema and ample shopping. The house is also about 50 yards from the bike path that runs all over the island. The house is located right near the intersection of Sea Island Causeway and Fredericka Rd, so if your attending a wedding, activity or function on Sea Island or Sea Palms, our house is as close to Sea Island as you can get. Included with the house is free high speed blast 100 mgbs wifi. We take your safety and security very seriously by having exterior security cameras at both the front entrance, side entrance and back. We also will consider pets. We normally allow dogs up to 15 lbs with our prior approval and a pet fee. NOTE: if you bring a dog that has not been approved you will be asked to leave the property. We also vacation rent the one bedroom cottage that is located above the detached garage on the back of the property. So if you need more space you can rent this space as well. It is one bedroom one bath and has its own parking spaces. The VRBO property number for it is 3690215. Reserving our home is very easy as we accept credit cards through the Homeaway payment system. We make every aspect of your vacation easy and enjoyable. If you plan on bringing anything that you tow behind your car or truck you will have to get it approved first. If you have more than six guests we do charge a per night per person additional guest fee. Please enter the correct number of adults and guests into the system. Check in is especially easy as we use coded door locks, so all we do is email you the door code along with other information needed, plus restaurant recommendations list. My wife and I own and manage five other vacation rental properties and have managed them for, going on, 12 years now. We make ourselves available 24/7 to you by providing you with our direct cell numbers. Wonderful location. Well stocked... Need more dish towels and washcloths. Couldn't use grill...rusted out and unusable. Was planning on grilling..didn’t know until we were preparing to grill; very disappointed. Loved the house! We were very comfortable and the host was so nice. Would definitely recommend this house!

This property is a such a beautiful space. It is even more gorgeous in person. The owners certainly take pride in this home, it was filled with all the things we needed and more! Such a welcoming vibe with books, games and movies, personal pictures, it made us feel right at home. The property is close to everything but located on a dead in street with minimal traffic or noise. The ducks in the pond at the end of the road was a huge hit with our 1-year-old granddaughter. It’s spacious, immaculately clean and the owners have thoughtfully provided extra items and lots of information on things to do in the area. We had several in our group with some mobility issues and they had no problem navigating in the home or property. We would certainly return to this property. What a great house! It was very spacious, with plenty of room for children and adults to spread out. Front porch was lovely, too. A perfect blend of tasteful and eclectic decor. Owners were also very responsive when we had a question. Great kitchen with basic kitchen necessities along with a few great ‘bonuses’ like air fryer, toaster oven, and 2 coffee pots. Also had great storage spaces. Very close to downtown St. Simon’s, Sea Island, and Jekyll. We’d definitely stay again! Thank you!!

The reason I chose this property was because the description said it was located 1 mile from The Cloister. We attended a wedding there. This property was in a perfect location and close to grocery store and many restaurants. We did not need to contact our property managers. Information was sent in a timely manner and property was clean and well stocked.

Our family from three states met here for a late Christmas celebration. There were ten of us ages 9-77. Family area and dining areas were awesome. Bathrooms could have used more towels. We loved the location and the owners were very easy to reach and super helpful with lots of restaurant recommendations. Teenagers loved the basketball goal! We’d definitely return!

Our group was 7 cousins and siblings all over 70. It was a perfect house and location for our stay. Living room with enough space and comfortable chairs to sit and talk. Plenty of comfortable beds. Sea Island, restaurants and beaches within easy reach. It couldn't have been better!

We enjoyed our stay so much, the accommodations was perfect. The house was clean & in a quiet area. Just minutes from Beach & restaurants, plus anything you need. Plenty of room for a large family. Only suggestion, maybe put a curtain or folding door up for more privacy between the master bedroom & little bedroom. We would love to stay here again one day. ❤️

We were first timers to the area, spending most of our time with family on Sea Island. This property is PERFECT for such an outing. Four bedrooms, bed space for 10 if needed. We had a one year old with us, and had expected a pack-n-play as advertised. When we could not find one, we contacted the owner who immediately responded that a prior renter had broken theirs. He immediately arranged for a replacement - I don't think it gets better than that. We plan to return to the area and would definitely stay here again.

A nice quiet clean place for a 3 generation family of 5 adults to call home for a long weekend. Perfect setup with bedrooms and bathrooms. Convenient to Sea Island and shopping. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was perfect for visiting downtown St. Simons, Jekyll Island and Cumberland Island. The house was adorable and meet all of our needs. It was nice to be in walking distance to shopping and restaurants. I would recommend Cafe Frederica for breakfast. The crab Benedict were very good. Thank you for sharing your home.

The house was very spacious for our 2 families that stayed together. Our boys enjoyed the basketball hoop, and it was nice to be close to sidewalks/trails for walking, running, and biking. The outside spaces needed some cleaning…there were a lot of cobwebs and the seating seemed as if it had not been maintained. The parking/driveway is very narrow/tight, particularly with the unit in the back being rented by another family. The kitchen was also lacking in basic utensils needed for cooking, such as a spatula. Also, the bedrooms and bathrooms are sufficient, but some of them are tiny. You could hardly walk around the bed in the one king room, and it does not have an actual door…it is a barn door and it’s right off of the dining room. The full “bedroom” is inside the other king suite, so it’s not an actual bedroom either. Our families were able to manage, but I just want to make others aware who are considering this property.

The property was well situated in a pleasant neighborhood. However, the unit was not as fresh as shown on the website. It is obvious that the owner does not live in the area as it needs some more attention than it is getting. Forget using the grill; it was nasty!

This house was beautiful! The common space was a great size for 7 adults to hang out, but the hallway that the bedrooms were off of was a little tight. The location could not have been better and Tom was very responsive and helpful. The kitchen had all of the basics, but it was missing a few key items for cooking large meals. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
