Tropische Lodge mit gechillter Atmosphäre - idealer Einstieg für einen Uganda Urlaub

Das ViaVia war unsere erste Lodge nach der Ankunft in Uganda. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt, das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und es befindet sich in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Lage in Entebbe. Im Garten turnen die Affen und vom Frühstückstisch aus kann man die Fischadler beobachten. Das Restaurant bittet eine sehr leckere Auswahl an Gerichten zum Frühstück, Lunch und Dinner. Am Abend gab es in der Bar ein Livekonzert im tropischen Garten, unser Urlaub in Uganda hätte nicht besser starten können. Im näheren Umfeld gibt es einige Shopping Malls, die alles bieten , was für die Uganda Reise vor Ort noch benötigt wird - Sim-Karten, Lebensmittel etc.

Ein schöner Ort, um eine Uganda-Reise zu beginnen und zu beenden

Zum Abschluss unserer Reise haben wir nochmal im ViaVia übernachtet. Es ist einfach eine entspannte Lodge, die Lage ist super und wir wurden zum Abflug in wenigen Minuten zum Flughafen gefahren. Das Essen war gewohnt sehr gut und die Stimmung im tropischen Garten am Abend bei einem netten Drink aus der Bar ist einfach super. Beim Abschied ist klar, dass auch der nächste Uganda Besuch nur in der ViaVia Lodge beginnen und enden kann.

Via Via reminds you of why you have come to Africa- for THIS type of experience.

Delicious breakfast- that we were able to eat outside in the beautiful weather of Entebbe. We loved the fresh fruit and the banana pancakes. They always have fresh juice and coffee or tea, as well. Plus, monkeys provided entertainment for us. This was such a nice place after a long flight to Africa. What a comfortable retreat for rest- very near the airport. Staff provided pick-up at the airport and later drop off at the airport. Plus- they took us to Kampala and dropped us off there, as well. We would stay here again, in a heartbeat.

We felt like we wanted a lighter sheet type cover on the bed, since the weather was so hot. The duvet felt very hot.

Our stay was very lovely, comfortable, and overall very enjoyable.

We loved the beautiful rooms. They are spacious and comfortable. The beds and bedsheets are soft. The room is of high quality. We also love the dining area - with the beautiful shrubbery and wildlife. The breakfast was delicious and wholly enjoyed by all.

We would have loved to have a complimentary bar of soap in our bathroom. We would have also appreciated a shower curtain or confined space to keep the water from spilling on the floor while bathing. We were also surprised to find that an additional payment was necessary for certain items on the breakfast menu - it seems that all options would have been included in the room fee.

Excellent stay, definitely recommend it to either have dinner here or stay over.

Outdoor shower is beautiful and has warm water. The wifi reaches until the accommodation. The layout of the tents which were super cosy. Quiet place near airport. Dishes are delicious. The staff is super cool.

Ordering food can take some time.

A fantastic place to start or end your trip. Good facilities, food and OK location. wonderful staff.

If you want Ugandan then this may not be your spot. Very western with lots of expats and tourists.

The place to stay and relax.

I enjoyed my stay at ViaVia as always! Once I am entering the gate, I start to feel relaxed and calm. The environment is beautiful and you can always see monkeys and birds around. The food is superb as well.

Amazing hotel, in nature with the best staff!

If you are going to Uganda, this is the place where you should stay. The staff at ViaVia Entebbe are the best and so helpful. We needed extra help during our stay because I had an accident and broke my arm (could have happened anywhere, it’s safe in Uganda, don’t worry!) They literally arranged everything for me and my sister, and we are still very thankful for that. Not only the staff was great but also the accommodation was wonderful, in the middle of nature with the monkeys and many birds around you! Also the rooms/tents where very clean, and the food was great. If you want to have that Uganda feeling, go to ViaVia Entebbe.

loved the tent. was a nice little camping experience in the garden and waking to monkeys ! the staff was lovely and breakfast was very nice. transport was organized very easily from airport and then onward to Kampala, a great little stop if you are traveling to or from the airport

Nice place, the restaurant is the highlight and the pond for bird life.

The food and views for bird watching by the pond were amazing. free use of bikes.

The wifi does not reach all areas as it’s states it does. My partners flight was delayed so I spent a lot of time stood outside or at reception in the rain or middle of night to try and sort things out on the wifi instead of just being able to stay in my room.

Surroundings are really nice. The sounds of the birds, the monkeys.

Bad internet. They charge extra 10000USH for breakfast, 10000USH for juice, only black coffee is free of charge. You hear everything from the room next door. Bad value for money.
