Localização perfeita, embora um pouco difícil de ser encontrada num primeiro momento
Muitas escadas. Certamente nao é boa opção para idosos e/ou portadores de deficiência

I was able to check in way before the official checking in time and I want to say thank you again. Also helping with my luggage was appreciated.

Perfect location

After booking, they immediately confirm about
the room condition, no sun light, no buth room.
When arrival, the owner kindly offered to change my room from wide but no bathroom to naroow with buth room,
Very kind.
The room was cleaned every day.
Very good location in the historical area and close to metro with reasonable price.
mosquitos appeared, better to prepare for them.

The hotel is a treasure: ideal location right in the centre of Genoa. It is, in the best sense, old school. The room was quiet and calm, not too big and not too small. I used the shared bathroom, but there was a basin and a bidet in the room. At this very reasonable price it was a bargain. And the hosts were friendly and easy-going. Just a pensione/hotel as you found in Italy in the old days.
Everything was as expected, and better.

The location was amazing. ~20min from train station on foot and ~5min from a bus stop to airport. A lot of good places to eat nearby as well.
The noise from other occupants of the Hotel and outside made it difficult to sleepy fully during the night as I kept waking up.

Loved the welcome from the owner who was like an Italian Basil Fawlty.
Great value for money for a central location.within distance of many gorgeous places to eat and drink
It was an excellent opportunity to enjoy the retro aqua blue bathroom.
The tea selection was generous and extensive
It was a tad dark. Once blinds and curtains opened I Jo longer needed the red light beside my bed. An interesting light shade for a hotel room.
Other guests who failed to comprehend the clear bed time guidance. Their inability to follow this led to me having disturbed sleep. I wish I had their room number in the morning
Those damn rugs are a real trip jazard
I think the owner may consider updating the mattress and pillows

Excellent location. Very clean. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Liked the breakfast!
A bit hard beds

very family feel, welcoming and helpful. rooms as advertised.
toilet flush is strange. you turn the water on to flush the chain, but it hardly flushes. then randomly flushes whenever someone else nearby flushes the chain. although didn’t impact us, if you were out for drinks, the 1:30am curfew could be an issue for some.

Location was excellent, right next to Piazza De Ferrari (the main square of Genoa), the Metro, and the bus to the airport. Value for money was great! The hotel and room were lovely, and the hosts were so accommodating - I got upgraded to a room with a private bathroom which was greatly appreciated, and they also let me store my bag after checkout when I was waiting for a late flight.
The hotel closes at 1:30am - not necessarily a bad thing, just worth being aware of if you're trying to sample the nightlife of Genoa.

I liked the location and the breakfast. Fantastic croissant with cream. Choose this one...
The bathroom was cold. It Is January but...

Perfect place in the old historical house in the narrow streets, where no cars can come. Short walking distance to the port, to the new city center, shopping, train station etc.
You can not expect lift in a house several centuries old of course, but when I have managed with my 75+ years, you will manage it as well.

The location was superb. The staff was wonderful. It was super clean and comfortable.
Lack of heating.

The location is great. Unlike from what it looks like at first glance the rooms are actually kinda clean.

Staff were friendly and gave the full tour. Great location and had several nice places around locally
The mattress was a bit uncomfortable

I stayed only one night there in the 2nd floor, room #6. When I booked, unfortunately only one night was available for the room type i choose, otherwise i d stay one night more. The room was nice with TV, kettle and tea, towels, bed was comfortable. Location was great. Wifi was good in my room. My room was facing the street, but when the windows were closed, it was very quiet.
It didn't affect me directly, but 1:30-6:30 am curfew could be a problem for some people or circumstances. And please put glass/porcelen glasses for tea, because having boiled water in plastic cups didn't taste good =)

Located in the central area of Genoa, perfect for shops and restaurants. Good Wi-Fi and facilities and reasonably priced too. The owner was friendly and welcoming, offering us a map to explore the city.

The family run hotel is in the city center and everywhere is within walking distance. Signora Franca was very helpful guiding us as to which places to visit. Breakfast at the hotel was very good. The rooms are not big but they are equipped with everything, TV, fridge, electric kettle + tea and coffee. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very clean. We shall definitely return. Grazie Signora Franca.

Very central, good location.
Not a pleasant place in summer weather. Owners are not so friendly.
Facility old and basic.

very close to all the historical places that I want to visit. Check out earlier is possible, but should discuss with host in advance. quiet and clean
window is open to a light shaft so the light need to be turned on even in the daytime.

The room was really tiny, but it's the very center of Genoa and the price - as for a hotel with a reception - very good. Late check-in possible. Very close to all attractions. For one night - to sleep, not to spend time in the room - recommendable
