Very good location, in the centre of Rome, near the Spanish Steps. The apartment actually has two bedrooms, a large living room with a sofa that folds out and can also be used to sleep on, and one storage room, which for some reason is described as a third room. This storage room has no window and does not look very attractive.
I really liked the fact that the owner was waiting for us until 11:30 am, as we had a late flight. He also offered a shuttle service, which was also helpful))
I didn't like the storage room, which was described as a bedroom. The apartment needs to be updated.

Location is right in the city center
Some appliances were a bit old

The apartment smells really bad and is really dirty. Everything is old and used. The bathrooms are dirty. The furniture and appliances are either broken or in bad shape. The pillow covers are ripped. I will submit the pictures of everything mentioned.

Amazing location at a great price, clean, kitchen with everything we needed, friendly host (he doesn’t speak any English, but with lots of gestures and Google translate we were able to understand each other), tiny elevator to 2nd (3rd for Americans) floor apt.
pictures of smallest bedroom show 2 beds, but there is actually only 1

The location was more than perfect. The apartment is big, with plenty of room. There was plenty of dishes and silverware. There was even three "Italian espresso cafeteras" and ground coffee. So it was a nice touch ;-). The internet was fast and it helped a lot, as I needed to work a bit.
The person that brought the key took some 20 minutes to arrive. We speak Portuguese, Spanish, English and a little French. But she spoke only Russian and Italian. So it was hard to understand each other. She left without explaining how to turn the heating. So I had to talk to somebody in Whatsapp the next day (one cold night).
We have 3 kids, 2 kids were in one good room, and the third one was supposed to sleep on a very small, windowless one, and not clean at all (picture attached). Just by getting inside her allergies started to make her sneeze. So we took a camp bed to the room with the other kids.
There were spider webs all over (see picture).
I mentioned to the host I was driving from Spain and needed a parking. He suggested a good public parking (about 1km away), but he should have mentioned that the apartment was located on a limited traffic zone. And, as I'm not a resident, that I could not enter the zone without getting a ticket. So as we drove by to drop the luggage before heading to the parking, I was certainly photographed and expect to receive the 80/300 € ticket in the next weeks.
The noise isolation was not very good. So, as the locations is wonderful, right in the middle of everything, you get a lot of noise from the crowd outside.
The furniture is old, and it's not very well decorated, as you can see in the apartment pictures.
Pillows, towels, bed sheets are also not very good, or new (but they're ok).
The washing machine has not the dryer function. So, if you plan/need to use it, the clothes will take another day drying inside the apartment... For a long trip with 3 kids, that was very annoying.
Having a SmartTV, with, at least a Netflix, is a must nowadays. Instead we got a small old tv plugged into a DVD player.
We payed aprox. 250€/night. So, we certainly expected a lot more than what we've got.

The location was top; in the centre, in a nice street, near the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain
The interior of the appartment; it was a bit worn out, bad lights, not cosy. It needs a fresh up.
