Excellent location. Staff friendly. Food excellent. No hesitation would go back.
Rooms are on 2nd & 3rd floors. Stairs very steep. As a 74yr old struggled a bit. We were on 3rd floor.

The staff here are extremely friendly and all go above and beyond to help guests. Lively friendly bar with great selection of beers wines and spirits and really great food
Great views!!
Only do a continental breakfast although it’s a good selection
Steep stairs- we were fine but if poor mobility it would be a problem

Lovely small, very friendly hotel, absolutely gorgeous view from our room.. great bar downstairs with a huge beer selection and even bigger whiskey selection, nice restaurant on middle floor
Rooms well modernised
Lots of stairs - not suitable for all (no lift)
Only a continental breakfast in the morning - fine for us but some might expect more

Views from the room were spectacular. The bar was great, really nice setting and the selection of drinks was great. Could do with a few more flavoured gins (but that's just personal preference).
Staff were super friendly and great to chat to. Food was also really good. Didn't realise breakfast was included which was a bonus. Simple breakfast (Cereals, pastries and cold cut meats and cheeses) but still good 😊

Staff were friendly, the room was comfortable and I enjoyed the beer selection in the pub. The views were also great.
Could hear through to next room.

The hotel was very welcoming with quirkily named rooms which we learned were based on Belgian beers. Our room was clean, comfortable & had everything we needed. The bar has an excellent selection of beers which we enjoyed trying. All the staff were great, really friendly & helpful.

All OK

Comfortable bed sea view room and left us a continental blast very kind 😊
No products in bathroom and cracked floor tile in bathroom.

Only continental breakfast offered. No fruit juice or muesli. Also no cold meats or cheeses. However very helpful staff.
Both our rooms were cold on arrival which was at the end of a cold period. Curtains covered radiator which was set low for the weather. Bed only a double which we consider small by today's standards. We chose to eat in the bar as it was warmer than the dining room. Food very good and excellent choice of beers which was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel. It appears to be unmanned overnight which is not satisfactory. Staff tried their best to accommodate our concerns but it was an uphill struggle. Eventually managed to source room heaters which meant we were able to have a shower by bedtime.
Overall felt this was not good value for money with more negatives than positives.

The breakfast was the best continental breakfast I’ve ever had. I bar is one of the best pubs in the UK with an outstanding food and drink menu. The beach in literally outside the front door and the view from the room must be the best hotel room view in Scotland.
The Wi-Fi didn’t work.

Beautiful surroundings. Excellent food. Friendly, efficient staff. Exceeded expectations.
Absolutely nothing.

The continental breakfast was great and there was such a lot of variety. The evening meal we had in the pub was great too.
The bed was comfortable, the shower was high-pressure even though we were at the top of the building. We loved that we could control the radiator thermostat in the room.
The coffee shop along the harbour makes excellent cappuccino and the staff were very friendly.
The toilet in the en suite room made an alarming noise every time it was flushed. The noise went away after a minute or two.
We were on the top floor up a lot of stairs. It was ok for us but I suppose it would be difficult had we had mobility issues
