We loved the location, the room, the atmosphere and Franco😊
Nothing, everything was perfect.

Nothing!

It was situated near the train station, restaurants, shops and the beach. The landlord was very pleasant and helpful.
There was no airconditioner in the room, only a fan, which did not help much in the extreme heat.

Friendly host Franco. The property is located at very near town squre, so don't have to pull lagagge up to the hill, the room is at second floor with few extra steps, not bad at all. Two bed rooms are large and very clean

Loved the location - not a long walk from train station. It is actually the first building you get to as you exit the tunnel from the strain station. It is in the centre of town and a minutes walk to the swimming area. Lovely building with balcony. Warm welcome from host. Had fridge and kettle. Spacious room with beautiful antiques. Nice bathroom.
There was no wifi. This should be advised ahead of time (and not advertised as having it on Booking.com). The mattresses have springs which you can feel. I folded blankets up and put them under fitted sheet to increase comfort. As I read ahead of time, there is noise outside: Late at night from people having fun in the street and not considering that most people are trying to sleep and in the morning from rubbish trucks etc

Franco is a great person, funny and communicative. We were received with a shot of Limoncino, and Franco singing! The place is just in front of the tunnel that links the train station to Manarola. Below there is a caffe, with great breakfast as well as light meals for lunch. The balcony was a plus, as we could have a great time sipping a glass of wine or having breakfast.

Location was really central. Franco was very helpful. Good facilities. Luggage storage. Balcony gets lovely evening sun and great people watching as it’s so close to the train station. Good shower. Beach towels for use.
The noise! If you’re not bothered with street noise, great. Couldn’t recommend it more. But, if you’re a light sleeper this is not the place for you. Street noise, bottles being emptied into skips, trains. My bed felt like it was going to fall, one very wobbly leg but my sisters was fine. Maybe Franco will have fixed this by the time you stay!

Many Italy people are bad to Chinese, i don't know if it's the waiter are not polite or the whole Italy country are not know how to be nice to others like a man.

Very central. Owner very personable (no English). On the day we arrived he gave us some of his own limoncello.
Extremely noisy, as it faced the railway entrance & was where the stall holders parked on market days & also bin collectors c.5.00 a.m. If you are a light sleeper don’t book it. I’d like to be more positive due to the friendly owner but sorry, it was a nightmare (!) with regard to having no sleep.

Clean, very close to the station and everywhere.
The host was helpful and kind!
lovely balcony.
A bit noisy during day and night cause it’s in the centre of the village(if you want to sleep without noise, should choose others)

location was great but noisy, with a lot of sound from the street at night. still, you couldn’t beat it for being close to the station and in the center of town. Also, it had this lovely balcony where you could sit and watch the people come and go.
beds were hard, but in Europe we find that common.

The location was great , just at the exit from the train station . It couldn’t be nearer but you could definitely hear every train . Franco was very nice and helpful. It was very easy to travel everywhere from there as well .

The apartment was easy to find, right opposite the end of the tunnel from the train station. The 2 rooms were large. Franco meets you with a serenade and a glass of homemade Limoncello.
The shower tiles were mouldy. The bathroom sink didn't drain properly and had small flies in it. There was a pair of someone else's socks under the only (very hard) chair, except for 2 plastic chairs on the balcony. The bed was very hard and only 2 flat pillows. The apartment is above a restaurant, very noisy until late. It is also opposite a junction in the road where everyone stops to talk. There is a large map of the area on the wall above the bins (emptied very early each morning) where people stop to discuss the walking routes. The sounds all travel up to the apartment. There are no stairs to get to the apartment building apart from the stairs from the train platform, down under a tunnel and back up again. At the apartment building there are steep stairs around the back to get up to the front door.

Franco is great, he waited up for me after my train got delayed several hours. Location is perfect for train travel, right across from tunnel exit.
Building is old so water can go suddenly hot or cold during shower.

Franco hospitality is definitely the best part.… easy to locate, the first building after left the train station … good restaurant just below the property … feel like stay in a relative‘s place
Noise ( as others mentioned) , esp when the window is left open, from both the restaurant guests during the night and garbage collection in the early morning .

Didn't receive breakfast but the location has ample cafes right nearby with outstanding cappuccinos!! Location is wonderful, right near the famous picturesque Harbour of manarolo. Franco was warm and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!
Nothing not one thing. It was absolutely wonderful. The room was beautiful and very authentic and comfortable....,.............................

Location, as soon as you get off the train, and walk throughout the tunnel that connects the train stop to the small town, you’ll see a restaurant right across, there on the upper level it is the hotel.
The entrance in not through the restaurant, but around the corner on the narrow street on the left.
The town offers great views, and the hotel is near relatively everything due to the size of Manarola.
A manager or employee who can speak English, Italians speak with their hands, and this is what I had to do, Franco the owner barely speaks English.
No breakfast included, this adds to the bill.
No air conditioning, and mosquitoes bother you at night if you leave the windows open. Early in the morning you’ll hear noise of visitors coming from the train station towards the town.
The worst part it is having to leave the room at 10 a.m. Many stays are applying this crazy rule, which isn’t cool at all.
I definitely would stay in a different place next time, and would board the train to visit Manarola or any nearby town from the Cinque Terre area.

Loved Franco and his singing and limoncello. He greeted with opera and we spent a few minutes in his kitchen taking care of monies and had limoncello. Enjoyed our patio and the town noises in the am and watching others go through the tunnel to work and school. Close to the waterfront and great food and gelato.

The towns setting is nice.
Sunsets and inner cit are quitr pitoresk.
We were a group of 3 motorcyclist.
Even with the confirmed booking we were not allowed to drop off our laguage at the hotel by motocylce.
We hat to park the bikes 1.6km away from the hotel and cary all the gear, while wearing leather suits, at 32 degrees C, to the hotel.
We tried to get suppport from the host, but he was not really interested.
A shuttle service would have been really nice. This should really be mentioned before booking...
The room was dusty and not clean.
In the early morning, around 5, loud noise from trucks delivering goods to the stores. At least the workers could try to be a little more tourist friendly, whilest unloading....

The place was so centric, close to all the amenities. The room was quite nice and had a huge bathroom. It was pretty close to the train station and yet the noise wasn't so loud. The owner was so welcoming, he offered us a shot of limoncino at our arrival, gave us recommendations on where to go for dinner and drinks and even kept our luggages the day after so we could visit the town. I'd totally recommend it!

Great location in Manarola. In close proximity to the train station (easy for the luggage) and close to the harbour for the amazing sights of Manarola. Served as a great "base" to also travel between the other cities during our stay. Upon checking in, a local home-made Limoncello is shared. The best in Italy.
