Overall, a great place. Very clean with comfortable bed/furniture and great location. The smell in the unit makes it difficult to handle, so hopefully they can remedy that.

Pack a Candle, Plug-ins, and Lysol! The smell will knock you down when you open the door. We brought a candle due to reading other reviews but something needs to be looked into about the smell. It is just almost unbearable. The water bubbles up in the shower when you are running the water in the kitchen and vice versa. I think you should look into the sewage issues which could be the smell issue as well! The windowsills and door jams are dingy. Other than that the house is Great! Great Location and Kitchen is well stocked, the large couch is really nice for relaxing! It only has 1 parking spot which was fine for us! You walk down the 14B to get to the slope which was also not an issue for us. We have stayed in several of the Slopesiders. You won't be disappointed in the house if you bring candles!

You can’t get any closer to the slopes than in this slope slider! My family and I stayed here for our ski trip which made it so convenient. It had everything we needed. We will be staying here again:)

While Mother Nature did not cooperate this time we will definitely try and return next year.

Took my 2 teenage kids skiing at Sugar Mountain and this location was perfect! Ski in/out onto an easy blue slope (Birch) and maybe 5 minutes if you need to drive down to the sugar mountain lodge. Plenty of space for us with 2 bedrooms (not pullout couch) for us to rest. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

This is definitely one of the nicer Slopesiders we have stayed in. We have never stayed in one more than once, but we would stay in this one again. The only downside is not having the bottom part of the house to store gear. The homeowners did a nice job of trying to have hooks everywhere, which no one else seems to do.

Felt right at home as soon as we opened the door. The furniture was very comfortable which when you have big men, made them happy. Beds were also comfortable. Close to grocery store was a plus. Sorry no snow though as our balcony was on a slope. Maybe next time. Leaves were beautiful. God is so good 😊

Upon check in, we were hit with an overwhelming mothball odor that permeated the entire home. An hour & a half after check in, I told Vacasa we wanted to leave and would never have booked that unit if we knew it would be so stinky. Asked for a refund for the final two nights of our stay but would happily pay for the night of check in. This was Thursday evening. Was told the local operations manager would contact me so we could sort things out. It’s now Sunday and no one has taken accountability. Contacted the national Vacasa office and opened both an online and phone chat with VRBO on Friday night. No one could do anything. We left a day early to stay elsewhere because the smell was that bad. Vacasa has given us the runaround and hasn’t contacted me (despite my many efforts to reach out via the VRBO app which is the platform I used to book our stay.)
In addition to what smells like mothballs stuffed in the drywall, the HVAC unit wasn’t working (the fan wouldn’t work either); the shower wouldn’t drain so you had to shower in standing water; the kitchen faucet had black slime on it (we drank from the tap; the faucet was on a retractable hose and that’s how I noticed this); and the fridge hadn’t been wiped down from the previous user.
Absolutely do NOT spend your vacation housing budget here like we did. Communication with property manager is abysmal.
Review management team: don’t appreciate my patience; don’t apologize for the inconvenience. I don’t want to hear it

This is a great ski in/out location at Sugar Mountain. The house is cozy and has everything you need. The location is fantastic and why we would rent again.

Great place to stay and watch the skiers all day and night from inside or the deck. Easy access to the slope and easy to ski out onto a green slope. The ski in requires the skill of a blue slope. Quick drive to the lodge. It had everything we needed in addition to nice Christmas decorations. Highly recommend.

Obviously location is paramount - the Slopesiders are the only ski in - ski out place at Sugar Mountain. This one was clean with a nice, recently updated and well equipped kitchen area. A great place at a fair price for a weekend ski getaway.

Ski in Ski out!
We absolutely loved how convenient it was to be slopeside. Perfect for lunchtime and ski breaks. Condo was in good condition and met our expectations. Basics such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent were provided. We enjoyed watching the skiers from the living room area. We would definitely stay here again.

The reason you stay here in the winter is to ski...or if you enjoy watching people ski. Great view of the slopes and a true ski in ski out location. I enjoyed watching others ski by when I wasn't skiing. Upon entry we could smell this unit had been cleaned and it was. The unit had a few extra supplies...washer, dishwasher, coffee filters, paper products. I would definitely stay here again ...if only it's available when I return...

Cozy home for an all Adult Vacay
Great location, right next to a Blue slope. Don't expect to be able to ski out here if you are a complete beginner. Roads up in wintertime may be very dicey, bring the appropriate vehicle.
Cabin not child proof (was not expecting it), so keep that in mind if you have very young children.

Perfect size and accommodations for our visit. It was clean and comfortable. All amenities that would be needed for a few days or a week. Close enough to everything we wanted to see. Would stay again.

Amazing location
This was the perfect get away for my family and I. The location and proximity to the slopes is the best part, we will certainly be back for Ski season!

The home is showing its age but there is evidence that some upgrading has taken place. The two bathrooms are upgraded and are very serviceable. The two bedrooms are relatively small but also adequate. There are three tv’s which appear to be fairly new.
The best feature of the home is its location alongside the ski slope and the wrap around porch that provides nice views.
Further improvements would include new furniture throughout the home, a new refrigerator with an ice maker, new window treatments that block out the bright morning light, new treatments for the sliding glass door; the older vertical blinds are missing several blinds. The interior and exterior needs to be painted and there is evidence that this may be underway.
The accommodation is adequate but it could be quite a bit nicer if the overdue upgrades are completed.

Great Location, but needs some TLC
Property is strategically located for a great view. Disappointed with the cleanliness; especially with covid. Unit needs a good and thorough deep cleaning; under the beds and living room couches.

Weekend stay
Pros: Great location!
Cons: Sliding glass door didn’t lock which was a big safety concern. The interior was also a bit dated/run down.

Strong mildew/mold and nothing in the house worked
First bad review I’ve had to write. Exterior of the house is nice and location is pleasant. Interior pictures are extremely deceiving.
We had to leave after just a few hours being there and book a local hotel.
There was a very strong smell of mildew/mold/smoke in the house. There was a mildew/musty odor eliminator canister in a closet with dead cockroaches in it.
The internet did not work due to not having correct WiFi password/it being set up wrong(although they did try to fix it but were not able to). The AC did not work and it being a hot humid day with the smell of mildew and mold made it unbearable for my family. We had to leave a vacation house for the first time and pursue a refund.
I would not recommend this house to anyone.

Not what was advertised
Had to call property management a couple of times to complain about things that were not accurate. This is in a great neighborhood however the house needs a little up keep.
