About this apartment rental
Salina Apartment is the largest one available for tourist rentals in the palazzo.
It is on the second floor and consists of: 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a living and dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom is on a raised level: a few steps give you access to the large bedroom with a four-poster bed and en-suite bathroom, wooden floors, and exposed wooden beams. The bathroom has a comfortable shower cabin and a window with a fantastic view of Venetian rooftops. It is very bright and has two large closets. The second room is also a double bedroom that can, however, be arranged with two single beds. The third bedroom has two single beds that can be pushed together to form a queen-size bed. The kitchen, living room, and dining room are in the large living area that can comfortably host all 6 house guests. The kitchen also has a wine fridge, the 42” screen TV allows guests to watch satellite TV with international channels, and WiFi in included.
Garzoni-Moro is a prestigious late-Gothic palazzo located in the middle of the bend of the Grand Canal. The area of San Samuele and Santo Stefano has always been a favorite of the most important Venetian families for their private residence. Equally distant from San Marco – political and religious center – and Rialto – the business and finance heart of the city – it was the perfect location for families to exercise their power and manage their interests during the 1000-year history of the Venetian Republic. The first Venetian settlement in fact dates back to before the 10th century, while the first palazzo was built in the 12th century. Palazzo Garzoni-Moro was built in the 15th century and masterfully restored in 2017 with easy home automation devices, heated floors, elevator, and central air conditioning and newly designed bathrooms and kitchens. The palazzo is located in one of the most elegant areas of the city, with many art galleries, boutiques, antique and design shops, as well as many traditional cafés and restaurants. Furthermore, from here you can easily reach many famous Venetian cultural institutions: the Guggenheim Collection museum, Gallerie dell’Accademia, Palazzo Grassi, Palazzo Fortuny, and the nearby Piazza San Marco.
Venice has six districts, known as “sestieri”. The district of San Marco embraces three important city venues and symbols: the Accademia Bridge, the Rialto Bridge, and the most famous Square in the world (as well as only one of the island), Piazza San Marco. Here, you can find some of the most well-known and beautiful city monuments: the splendid San Marco Basilica, richly decorated with Byzantine mosaics and columns, the elegant Palazzo Ducale, overlooking the San Marco basin, and the imposing “Campanile” (bell tower), from which you can enjoy one of the most breathtaking views of the city’s rooftops.
In this area, you can find elegant cafes and restaurants, famous art galleries, and the city’s most beautiful Murano-glass shops and important boutiques, for those who love shopping.
