Alojamiento asequible y agradable.

Todo muy bien, para el precio en la isla está bastante bien. No esperes grandes lujos porque es una casa de huéspedes. Tiene maquina de agua caliente por si te quieres hacer un cafe. Muy buen wifi. En general todo agradable. Tiene aire acondicionado y ventilador.

El lavabo se encuentra fuera de la habitación (dentro solo ducha y retrete). La zona del alojamiento no tiene playa que puedas bañarte porque es un puerto, para cualquier cosa tienes que cojer taxi barco ( 3€pp/trayecto) o excursión (8-10€ pp), se puede ir a la long beach andando pero el camino es bastante duro, caminando por la jungla 1 hora con mucho calor y el estado del camino es muy malo.

Great value for money with an exceptional host

Very clean with an exceptionally helpful host, who not only allowed us to move our booking dates easily, but also sent a water taxi to rescue us from a secluded beach late at night when nobody else would! Brilliant service

This host and stuff are super helpful and nice. They basically help me in every possible way I could be expected. I enjoy my stay with AB guest house and will definitely recommend to all of my friends. Thanks a again for the hospitality and care. I feel so happy during my stay.

Super séjour et l’hôte toujours disponible !

La proximité des restaurants du village, de la mosquée et le charme du guest house. Il y a une confiance qui règne entre tous et c’est super ! Les échanges via whatapp sont très facile également

Petit bémol avec la clim de ma chambre.. malheureusement elle ne fonctionnait pas très bien et du vent très froid était dirigé sur le lit

Good clean comfortable room with private bathroom

Clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, working air conditioning and excellent WIFI! Hot water kettle for tea , coffee or instant noodles is available on the hallway It is definitely recommended to stay here and I would stay here again .

The only thing that I missed was a sink in the bathroom because it is difficult to wash hands with the shower. There are mini sinks available like in the trains or airplane and would fit perfectly in the small bathroom.

It's easy to get food because there are many stalls nearby

Good location although you often hear prayers from the mosque because it is religious here. the room is quite neat and clean according to the cheap price..

This room is quite perfect with the facilities provided by the owner of the house. Based on the price offered it is very reasonable. This wooden house is clean and the arrangement of equipment is a sign that the owner cares about the comfort of tourists.

Comfortable room that meets the specifications mentioned on the site

The room met our expectations, the beds are comfortable and the room is equipped with a private shower/toilet, a fan and air-conditioning which are very useful! The owner is very welcoming and willing to help if needed. Good value for money.

There were a few cockroaches coming out of the shower drain at the beginning of the stay and a few droppings around the shower.

If you want the comfort of a room and a quiet area..free wifi, aircond, fan, there are many sockets, water heater..it's in the AB guest house.

Not recommended for solo or couples (This is in a fishing village)

Nothing

Location is in the fishing village so it's a boat taxi away from Long Beach or any other beaches. Do not book this guesthouse thinking you will be able to swim/snorkel at this location. You cannot walk to other parts of the island without a boat taxi. You will spend enough money on boat taxis so just book a room at Long Beach if think you're saving money by booking here because you're not. There is no acceptable restaurants to eat near this location, nor anything to do. It is very boring and be warned that boat taxi fees double after 7pm and there is a minimum of 2 people per boat taxis. The guesthouse room itself is very stuffy and the bathroom is uncomfortable to use. The shower pressure is nonexistent and the water here smells like sewage. Ants crawl in every parts of the room so you definitely cannot eat nor bring food into this room or everything will be infested with ants.

Buen precio, pero no merece la pena

El precio, aire acondicionado y no encontrar bichos

El baño, solo inodoro y una ducha encima que luego se queda todo mojado y algo inundado, al no tener inclinación, y hay que barrer el agua si no quieres empaparte al ir al baño. La habitación vieja, muy mal decorada/ pintada, muy oscura, pequeña, por lo que sensación agobiante, no se disfruta la estancia. Estuvimos 2 horas casi esperando para el check in.... llamamos 30 veces a los números facilitados y al whastap del responsable Ubicación... no era el sitio ideal de las Islas, puesto que es el pueblo de los autóctonos, y queman la basura, no existe una buena limpieza de las calles, etc. En resumen, si quieres disfrutar de estas islas y tienes un presupuesto ajustado, y poco escrupuloso te puede valer. si quieres disfrutar de una buenas vacaciones descansando bien en un alojamiento de calidad, mira otra cosa.

This guest house is basic and village concept only..high speed wifi, cheap price for those who want to stay longer, bbq equipment for family day is provided, highly recommended

Decent but basic accommodation, not the best location.

There are hardly any good accommodations available on the Perhentian islands so keeping that in mind this accommodation is fine. You have airco and water. However the accommodation is very very basic..

The location is not that good, always have to take a boat taxi to get to a beach where you can swim. The host was not that friendly and did not communicate with us about any of the things to do on the islands. Overal I would say the experience was not that great.

The place is really clean and comfortable, the service is very good, they gave us something for our sunburned skin and helped us quickly with the boat! the owner is very nice.. he gave us souvenirs to take home. we really appreciate it and will back again in this guest house

Feel like home

AB guest house is one of the best quiet accommodation in Fisherman's Village and good value for money. The owner is very kind and helpful, although the accommodation is small and basic but the room is clean and has what is needed. the internet facility can connect you with anyone and high speed.. the owner gives you a souvenir bag to bring back.. you can try to stay.. feel like home

AB guest house in memory

I went to Perhentian with a friend for a one night stay and it was worth it! For anyone who plans to come here but has a small budget, AB guesthouse is definitely the right choice. Although they offer the cheapest prices, their facilities are complete, high speed unifi, hot and cold water filters for drinks, and the rooms are well maintained and clean. The owner and his staff provide the best service. They gave us a souvenir bag for memories..We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend this to our friends and family

The mosque is next to the guest house and is heard at 5-6 am to wake up for prayer..but that's okay..it was already known through the map👌

AB is the best alternative👍

The guest house is simple and authentic but the facilities provided are complete, fast wifi connection, hot and cold water filter for coffee (3 in 1), air conditioning and wall fan work well, the host and staff are helpful, overall very good..

The mosque is next to the guest house but I have already received information in advance.. (respect culture and religion)

Very friendly and helpful staff and hosts..The building and rooms are older but well maintained and have everything you need..The location is a bit far and we needed a taxi boat several times a day.

Very poor

Stains in the bed sheets, no proper toilet. The worst part is that is near a Mosque that has speakers so you can’t speak from 5 am to 6 am.

Pleasant

We had free filtered water, one water boiler, some glasses and laundry service directly at the hotel.

The staff was not available and the desk at the reception was closed during our entire stay. We had problems comunicating with the staff. Also, the hotel is very noisy because it's too close to the Mosque.
