Lovely hotel.

It was a lovely hotel nice and clean, friendly staff very helpful took our luggage up to our room as there is no lift, lovely room plenty off facilities teas coffee etc bottles off water hairdryer plenty off nice clean towels even gave us extra on the second day toilet was lovely nice and modern with a nice shower, electric radiator. Plenty off toilet paper which was in a drawer under the sink, , recommend this lovely nice clean hotel good even if you love Indian food, breakfast was amazing etc.

I didn't like that they only had put one pillow on each bed had tp ask for another 2 pillows for each bed maybe leave 2 extra pillows and blankets on top off the wardrobe would help instead off having to ask, duvet to far right to the top off the bed could hardly pull the duvet from under the pillow not good for older person trying to get into bed, window didn't have abit to hold to keep from opening half way for air, kept opening fully not good when windy, automatic tap on sink in bathroom couldn't adjust for hot or cold had to use kettle to boil water for sink as water was sometimes cold,shower had to adjust run awhile for hot water had 2 options normal head or could use the rain water head, fan on ceiling could have been cleaned as it was abit dusty apart from that nice hotel.

Luke warm stay in Perth

It was easily found and central to Perth and railway which was why I chose it. The building is by a reasonable road but I was pleased to not be bothered with road noise on the backside of the building. Indian restaurant at reception so easy catering if fancying dinner too on arrival.

The staff was completely unhappy, didn't smile once in any interaction and in fact barely spoke to me. At check-in he asked my name and then worked on the computer and got up through the back without a word for 5 to 7 minutes. Similarly poor interaction at breakfast, which was ok. Reasonable selection but cooked breakfast was Luke warm, except the beans which were served like Vesuvius. Coffee was ok. Didn't have the breakfast or pastries as they started clearing it away whilst I was last there despite it being 90 mins to time given for breakfast being served.

Stayed in 4* hotel in Edinburgh for £4/night more for 2 people. Quality of room was poles apart.

Friendly staff. Shower was OK. Breakfast OK

Small room, no wardrobe, window didn’t close in bathroom, floor needed finishing, tap difficult to turn off, decor needs some tlc. On busy road, earplugs provided.

Location from bus station and train station was 8min away. 5min away from town which was great .

The only problem was the noise of the fridge at night, and there was a light on all the time if you where a light sleeper .

A Perth Gem.

We asked for an early check-in. As soon as the room was vacated the staff cleaned the room so that we could get in. This was at half 10 in the morning. Above and beyond what was expected. The staff are all lovely. Friendly and so helpful. Would go back tomorrow if we could. You fill out a breakfast card at check-in and what time suits you. When we went down for breakfast there was no waiting as it was prepared for us. Breakfast was excellent. We where there for a music festival. We have already booked for next year.

Well located, comfortable room. Don’t stay here for the ambience, but do if you want a comfortable room for the night.

Conveniently located for the railway station and city centre. Public areas are all closed off but the bedroom was really good, which is all I really wanted.

The public areas (except for the breakfast room) were closed off.

Very friendly, courteous and happy staff. Exceeded my expectations, calm and relaxing decor. The room was well appointed with everything a guest could need. Breakfast service is excellently done, not to mention the breakfast itself which was delicious and well presented. The Grampian Hotel is situated close to Perth's centre and would make a great base for exploring this historic city. I WILL be staying again.

I can't think of a single aspect of this establishment that is sub par. Bravo to all the staff.

Exceptional

The hotel is in an excellent location for the town centre. Our room was spotlessly clean and a great choice for breakfast too. We'll definitely be booking this hotel again on our next trip to Perth. 😊

My only complaint would be the tap on the sink in our en suite. It was motion activated and I'm still not sure how to get hot or cold water which was a bit of a nuisance when it came to brushing your teeth.
