My go-to in Cambridge

This is my third stay and I cannot recommend Parkview enough. Zarah is so incredibly accommodating, everything is comfortable, and the price can’t be beat.

Lovely small hotel with impeccably clean room

Impeccable and very clean room and bathroom, very spacious and light. Lots of tiny details to make the stay more comfortable: toiletries, hair drier, coffe-making facilities, mini fridge, iron and board... Overall a lovely, comfortable room which allowed me to rest at a time when I badly needed to.

The shower needs some getting accustomed to, but then the water is nicely hot and pressured.

Lovely place, would definitely come back.

Lovely clean room with everything you could ever need. Very well thought out. Also the guesthouse is in a nice quiet street with lots of local pubs, bars and places to eat just a short walk away.

My only criticism would be that it could do with some black out blinds as it was quite bright in the morning, but that’s all.

We were happy with the accommodation for one night. Reasonably priced and what I would expect of a 3 star property.

The location was good for getting to Cambridge Junction. Easy and free parking. Very quiet. We could have walked or got a bus in to the centre of Cambridge the next day but were short on time so decided to drive in and park.

It was clean and comfortable but a little tired, the bathroom particularly. The shower was very small & lacking in power.

Shower was either too hot (scolding) or too cold. Issue with the guttering, when it rained there was a constant drip. Quite noisy.

Very comfortable and great value for money.

Very clean and comfortable, in a very good location. Within walking distance of both Cambridge train station and also the City Centre, with the amenity of Mill Road very close by. Also very good value for money.

For someone who is tall like me (6 Foot 7), there is not a lot of space in the toilet / shower room!

You might like to give some attention to the hinge on the fridge door.

Exactly what I needed and a great host.

Bedroom was totally clean, lovely comfortable bed. Was quite and good parking, exactly what I needed.

The pillows, I'm picky about these but that's just me. The shower took a while to reach temp and was too much of a spray.

Zarah runs a very good show here! And with a personal touch: she called me specially to say that she would be out for a short while on my eta, but I could retrieve the key from a cache. How nice was that! Made me feel very welcome in advance! And for the rest: Very nice room with parkview, ample space for parking in a quiet neighborhood. And last but not least: excellent beds!

Clean, comfortable and met my needs.

Met my simple needs of a comfortable room to sleep in.

The pop-up waste in the washhand basin needs replacing as it does not seal so the only way you can maintain a bowl of water is to leave the tap(s) running slowly which obviously wastes water. Lack of a sit down breakfast not a Continental style one in your room.

Good size room with view on the park. Small bathroom but all very clean. Easy check in and check out.

Just a small thing, but on the day of the check out (10am) the cleaner knocked at the door around 9.45 whilst we were still getting ready.

Would not have parked in the drive if we had known that the car would be absolutely covered in sticky sap from the tree. Nobody's fault, can't be helped but what a sticky covering. Now on the way home via a car wash
