My room was upgraded to superior at no extra cost and without asking. The bathroom and bedroom were light and spacious. The bed was very comfortable - I don't normally sleep well away from my own bed but I slept like a log!
The coffee machine took a little getting used to but it was nice to have ground coffee instead of a packet of freeze dried.
4.3
We got a complimentary upgrade. The room was spacious, really well decorated and immaculately clean and comfy. Staff really friendly. Great location close to station and main sights and shops. Great choice for breakfast and food was really good. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again
The shower base did overflow slightly but may be because it was such a nice shower I spent a while in there!
4.3
Location was perfect, so central to everything. Staff were friendly and helpful. Upgraded to room on 3rd floor which was well appointed, nice view and comfortable bed. Had a great nights sleeps.
No fridge in room.
4.3
Beautiful clean hotel room, very central to everything in bath and designed for maximum comfort.
Nothing!
4.3
Staff were friendly and bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was amazing def the star of the show
Dirty / empty glasses on the floor when exiting the lift, the room was slightly underwhelming. Old water in the coffee machine didn't look too pleasant so didn't use.

Good location and some style
Allergic to the bed sheets (detergent used), aircon filter was very dirty. Couldn’t close the secondary glazing, very noisy outside. Corridors are dark and outdated, bathrooms are small

Excellent location close to city centre, our room was a good size nicely renovated. Car parking was close by in public car park.

Loved the location, close to lots of restaurants. The room was clean and tidy and the decor was cool, a bit of a vintage feel to it. The hotel guest areas (reception, bar, tea room) are well kept and very welcoming.
The room we stayed good have done with a few maintance touches.

It was a cool movie themed room, big tv which was nice for watching something in the late evening after a busy day/ early evening exploring. Staff were really friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately our room was next to an alarm that was going off in the hotel, it was more of a system alarm so the beeping of a battery running out, which ruined our nights sleep. We did tell the staff and they did appolagise. As well as this we seemed to also have the water pipes going through our room so there was lots of loud noises sadly. The bed which was advertised as a double was actually 2 singles pushed together which was also not very comfy when you land over the join of the beds. It’s a cool building, lovely staff and very central but for the price my partner and I felt a little let down, especially as we had paid a little extra for a themed room.
4.3
Excellent location close to attractions and restaurants and bars. We had an exceptional large room which was all we can ask for with all the facilities we needed. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Would recommend.
Only slight issue was that we had a room which was on the lower level. There was a wine to courtyard in back but was limited view.
4.3
Excellent location, great value for price, nicely decorated room.
While the room itself was lovely and clean, we also used the public toilets before actually checking in when we brought our luggage in and they were not kept tidy and were quite unpleasant to use - gave a little bit of a bad first impression, but the rest of our stay made up for it!
4.3
The accommodations were spacious and impeccable. I did not have a view as I was on a lower level. Requested a tub and they were able to accommodate.
Did not have a view as I was tucked in on a lower level.

The English breakfast was nice, good sausages, bed was comfortable.
Every tile was broken in bathroom, lime scale and mould, and hotel only 10 pounds less than a hilton!!
I asked for top level room as light sleeper, didn't get request, and guy above come home at midnight woke us up from creaking floors 2 am sounded like guy above dropped a bag of bricks on floor...
We had to send omlete back as was ton off oil swimming in
4.3
It’s a good proximity to all of the essentials in the centre of bath
Minimal staffing levels on the Saturday- disinterested customer care.
2 single beds put together, uncomfortable mattress with a thin topper.
Very poor finish in the rooms, paint slapped on, lime scale all over the bathroom. Towels with holes in.
The hotel purports to be expensive and upmarket, but clearly isn’t with minimal staffing and poor attention to detail in rooms.
We stayed in a ground floor room which was poorly soundproofed- you could hear everything at night outside.
4.3
Central location.
The room we supposedly booked here was bright, spacious and on an upper floor (“lift access”), according to Booking.com.
In reality, The room we were given was painted black, on the ground floor of the slightly musty smelling annexe next door. Opening the curtains was out the question, as it would have been like the proverbial goldfish bowl. The promised seating area was a chair next to the front door.
The room was well-equipped and clean, but not a place you’d want to spend any time in. Pretty noisy at night too.
4.3
Hotel had personality
4.3
The room felt special, like one of a kind. It was very spacious and had great furnishings. The small fridge was actually a useful size to keep drinks in.
The location is also wonderful, right in the heart, next to the main attractions.
Upon arrival we were told that if we didn't require new towels and linen daily to hang the green tree on the door. We did that but housekeeping interpreted that as do not disturb or enter, so our bin wasn't emptied or coffee refilled. A tiny thing, sure.
4.3
Amazing location and yummy breakfast.
Dirty, tired bathroom. Really uncomfortable sofa bed
4.3
Great location to visit Bath
Great location and the staff were great.
4.3
This hotel was surprisingly centrally located , and the staff went above and beyond unforeseen situations .
Unaware of the multiple levels on each floor. However it was nothing to hinder the experience .
4.3
Nice location and nice themed rooms.
The TV wouldn’t go above 13 on volume. It seemed that a limit had been programmed. Made it very hard to hear what was a lovely large wall tv.
4.3
Lovely rooms, great location

The reception area smelt nice and it looks clean
The bed was quite small as was the room

Location
Everything has been downgraded dramatically compared to what it was 10 years ago. Is it because this hotel is run by a different operator? Five annoying things i would like to mention here.1. I don't think i was warmly welcomed at the concierge, 2.my name was not even registered on next day's breakfast list though we were accomdated and this issue was nicely recovered by one helful staff. 3. I found a pin somewhere near the bed. 4. Breakfast was not good at all and we chose to skip the hotel's breakfast in the next four days. 5. room was not cleaned at all on the second day during our stay.
4.3
The breakfast was very good, by you had to schedule your time ahead and times I needed were booked. I ended up paying for 2 breakfasts I didn't eat.
I paid for a better room, but the moved me to a smaller room because the TV didn't work. I did not received compensation for a smaller room or the 2 breakfasts
4.3
It’s location and staff were excellent.
Room was very small for the price. Breakfast was not particularly good save for a fab hot chocolate.
4.3
Great location, good facilities
Sofa bed was very uncomfortable
4.3
Room and bathroom were clean
Room and bath was small
Breakfast was poor election and when order came was wrong
Bar staff didn’t know how to make drinks, so we had to have alternatives.
Corridors and stairs were drab and felt dirty
Staff were hung over and whilst friendly service was poor
Really poor quality for money. We stay in a lot of places and for this money the places are usually amazing, but this was poor.
4.3
The design of the bedroom and bathroom.
loved the various artwork hung throughout the building.
In keeping with the building in bath from the outside.
curtains could have done with freshening up a little
4.3
Great location, nice atmosphere, very friendly and professional staff at reception. Always ready to help and find solution for a problem
Could be cleaner in the room.
4.3
Let down by poor service at reception as a result of poor staffing levels. 15 min wait before anyone came to reception to check me in
Great decor and comfortable
